I remember watching a feature story on TV about him as a high schooler; he had so much arthritis he sounded like a popcorn popper as he limped down the hallway of his home when he'd get up in the morning. He truly sacrificed his body for his sport.
Absolutely was a legend and the epitome of what it means to be a raider and sacrifice for the raider good. Thank the Lord we have a couple of more of those guys on our team now.
