I went down a rabbit hole of The Cure in my teen years, never looked into their riffs/tabs though! Awesome choices and thanks for another inspiring collection 🤘
@@Quinsey7 I'd need to watch the video again. I'm sure they probably left out The Same Deep Water as You, Untitled, Strange Day, A Hundred Years. Actually, to be fair all riffs in Disintegration are just perfect
One of the COOLEST things about the Cure was the simplicity of some of the "hooks", the AWESOME part was ALL of the Band were PERFECT every Concert... the Best part was Robert's Voice and engaging Lyrics...I've taken many friends (since '80) to see them Live, people that ONLY liked Heavy Metal, Pop, Easy Listening and '70's Southern Rock... and every one of them were blown away and said that was one of the COOLEST Concerts they've ever seen.
Nice Video!!! Actually i practice some Song from the Cure. Can you explain me,how did you get this typically guitar sound? I mein which settings did you use? :)
I bought a book of transcriptions back in the day for the complete Disintegration album. I've been coming back to it for years. Amazing layers and songs, yet so simple, and a unique sound.

And they even had better riffs than these in less famous songs. Love em
Can you name me some of them? please

@@danstoevskijoe thankyou bro can you recomend me more? Ill apreciate it
@@danstoevskijoe in the album “wish” guitars have more protagonism haha
@@Quinsey7 more acoustic guitars, even power chords. In Disintegration it's most about the bass and some (perfect) guitar riffs

Robert Smith is the king of the one string solo.
Nice HB I got one similar talk about bang for your buck
Some of them are played by Robert Smith with Bass VI
The Top Album was mostly just Robert and Lawrence (Lol) with Andy Anderson to play drums
Awesome playing

Needs more Chorus/Flanger. Great riffs, though.
You spelled 'cowbell' wrong.
Plus jamais
Is this A Forrest? Are you seriously??? ☹
Well that is in fact A Forest, what’s the question?
Those riffs are lame AF, but they have great songs.

Were the transcriptions any good? In my experience many these book are way off...
