Re Christmas Sandwich. What you thought was pulled pork? According to the menu was pulled turkey thigh. And crispy bits? Shallot and Parma ham crumble. I would take that! 😁

Sounds pricey for a sandwich but when you see size and amount of filling in them they work out better value and bet they are far better quality than a supermarket deal or what you would get in a pub. great review again Greeno.
Birds actually do great with chiles. They don't have the neural setup to even taste the heat elements that are so ... intriguing ... to mammals. In fact, quite a number of chiles have evolved to include being eaten by birds as a way to spread their seeds around further than wind etc will carry them. Also, the sandwiches did look great.

What a beautiful day it is there! Rain, rain multiplied by 48 hours here. I always watch your meals when I am eating! Prawn and egg rice and stir fry. However, the turkey sandwich 🥪 Oh my! I could have licked the TV screen when I saw the beef sandwich. Yum!!!! That sausage roll was superb. That pastry looked so well cooked in a good way. Good score. 👍🌲💚
The crows would have loved a bit of that sausage roll as birds don't taste heat, my parrot quite happily eats raw chili peppers. Those sandwiches were a meal by themselves, at least twice as much filling as an ordinary sandwich but not twice the price! Great place.
I was going to say the same. It's because birds swallow the seeds and pass them undamaged, which the plant wants. Whereas mammals have teeth and chew them. So the chilli has evolved a defence that deters mammals but not birds
Hello greeno, i did see the black crows trotting around which i found interesting. Oh my those sandwiches were huge and the sausage roll would be my choice looked fantastic. Great review and scenery thanks Greeno 🐸

Christmas sandwich sounds really good. We have been to a team night out today to a polish restaurant, have had some polish dumplings, red cabbage and goose leg 😂 and some really nice polish vodkas. It was awesome. If you will ever come to Cologne, we need to go there!!
That sounds great! Polish vodka is quite moorish... I went to a barbecue party in Warsaw once. We were 30 guests in total. 5 of whom were driving. Between us we drank 18 bottles of chilled vodka. I do not remember getting back to my hotel!!

Excellent review as always Greeno! Sandwich Sandwich is always our first stop when we’re in Bristol. Like someone else has mentioned, The Bodega at Norwich Market is equally impressive 👍🏽

You had me at - “it comes with a pot of gravy” 😂 Seriously though, £8.50 for that beef sandwich is fantastic considering you can pay £7/8 for a burger from Maccy’s or KFC these days…and I know which one I’d rather have!
@GreenoEats from what I hear on various food programmes Bristol has a really electic food scene amazing. So much to choose from. We need these independent guys using quality ingredients, doesn't have to be fancy just quality ingredients prepared inventively. Quality bread etc. Always amazes me that sandwiches like that can be shared. Yet people go to the fast food places with family and fork out £50 for cr*p
Sandwich Sandwich are a popular delivery order for shared lunches at work. I am not a big sandwich fan, so don't usually join in, but last time, I ordered the hot BBQ brisket burnt ends in a burger roll. Wowzers, it was good
Greeno this is class!! I love a good sandwich to be honest, these are awesome! You’re going to be like Rate my Takeaway soon driving round in a Green van!! 😂 Great win last night, you off to Ipswich on Sunday? ⚽️ top video all the best ….Smithy
These were cracking sandwiches - like most Brits I could live on sandwiches alone - especially ifthey are this good! Amazing win last night - dunno if you saw the game, it was a 1-0 that could have been a 5-3 ! Not going to Ipswich unfortunately - who have the Saddlers got?
Looks like the crumb in the turkey sandwich is onion and Parma ham crumb. Not necessary. If they wanted a crunch then deep fry some turkey skin and crush. Just an idea. I think the sausage roll would improve with less chilli and some extra mature cheddar. Saying that though, the quality of the sandwich looks excellent and if the price is the same at St Paul’s I may try it there. Thanks for the review Greeno
orite greeno now thats what i call a sandwich that all looked amazing wish there was a shop near me i would definitely be a regular visitor and you mentioned one of my favourite films the birds so props to you for that mate : )
Jesus Christ Greeno. Got my tongue hanging out here. Those look the bomb and the granary beef sandwich 😋😋😋 I wanted to say, Sausage Roll looked amazing, plenty of filling. Not like Greggs where you have to be Bergerac to find it.
I heard Brighton's food scene is a little off point - I wonder why? I plan to head back to Bristol to film some more - lots of good food about as you say!
I came to the UK -- Worthing, in the South of England, of all places -- in the summer of 1981, when I was just a wee lad of 14 years. My host family fed my sausage rolls. I loved them. They were my favourite English food of my stay.
My favorite thing about thanjsgiving is literally cold turkey sandwiches. Wow that looked great as did the beef but that I prefer open face with beef gravy. Great vid.
Roast beef sandwich £8.50 , I used to buy my favourite pub sandwich a Steak Canadian for a massive 50p...have to say the 70's Steak Canadians put that beef butty to shame . Love your reviews and sometimes , like today , it highlights what an expensive world we live in with some of the old world having been so much better. Expensive , yes , better than the old world no but would much prefer these to Gary's £30 jacket spuds 🤣
Evening Greeno, park benches. Last thing I'd be worried about is it being wonky 😂😂Messages left by our feathered friends & other wildlife (humans include 😱) That sandwich, OMG! It can be seen from the space station 🥪🔭😅But why gravy 🤔? Maybe it's just me. 😢😢The Good old-fashioned Roast Beef of England. Again fantastic looking sarnie. 🥪🥪🐄And again the dipping thing with the gravy. Hot sandwiches, fine carry on dipping. But watching you dip salad, and dropping bits into the gravy. Gotta be honest with you. I was rooting for the crows, to show homage to Hitchcock 🦃🐓🐣🐤🐥🦅🦆🦢🦉Sausage rolls 👍keep it trad dad😊I'm just an old-fashioned bloke. Keep it simple, just like me. Have to say, yes very expensive for a bog standard sandwich. However, a bespoke monster munch like those. Worth every penny. Could do lunch & tea And save the gravy for Sunday. Good video and great shots of the bridge 🌉👍👌drive safe and take care. See you in the next video Allan&Family
Haha - who knows how sanitary the eating location was, but I have survived to tell the tale! The sandwiches were indeed huge - almost heavy enough to be cosidered a weapon I reckon! Glad you enjoyed the video Allan - wishing you and yours a great weekend!
What a knockout wow 😮. This is a sandwich shop ,best ive seen ,subway who ?? And the nyc delis are not this resonable or appetising but Americans eat anything. Freash and no cons and disappointment. 10 /10 🇦🇺👍
Those sandwiches looked to be on a diferent level and great to have that gravy for dipping , i thought of Clarksons pub and the sausage roll and both seem ace , lots of filling - wouldnt agree with prices at Clarksons though - consumer victims 😄
The Best Sarnies are the SALT BEEF Ones Greeno which I am sure you will find at Street Markets. For me the local one is in Edgware called B & K Salt Beef Bar & Restaurant. Huge queues.
Looks good ... That was enough food for two people, so the cost is more like 12 pounds per person. Let's compare that to Gordon's dried up Beef Wellington at 85 pounds, and we can see this sandwich shop makes a good product ... Good photography shot .... It did look a little bit like "The Birds". 😂 (4.7 Green light) .... Thanks.

I knew it ,I actually paused on the menu board and went straight for the rare roast beef, great minds ;)..I am officially jealous
That's my go to Boxing Day sarnie, some of the left over roast beef (we have been as well as turkey normally!)
@@GreenoEats absolutely!
You had me at - “it comes with a pot of gravy” 😂
Seriously though, £8.50 for that beef sandwich is fantastic considering you can pay £7/8 for a burger from Maccy’s or KFC these days…and I know which one I’d rather have!
Oh yes - words you love to hear!!
Excellent location
It was a nice place to sit and eat - I do marvel at things like the Clifton Suspension Bridge, must have been so difficult to build back in the day!
Wowzers, it was good
I was tempted by their hot stacks ( I think that's what they call them) - but on the counter that rare beef was just calling to me!
Another good vid
Thanks Gazza!
That sandwich was something 😊
It certainly was!!
Greeno this is class!! I love a good sandwich to be honest, these are awesome! You’re going to be like Rate my Takeaway soon driving round in a Green van!! 😂
Great win last night, you off to Ipswich on Sunday? ⚽️ top video all the best ….Smithy
These were cracking sandwiches - like most Brits I could live on sandwiches alone - especially ifthey are this good!
Amazing win last night - dunno if you saw the game, it was a 1-0 that could have been a 5-3 ! Not going to Ipswich unfortunately - who have the Saddlers got?
When I first saw the prices I thought that dear after seeing them I didn’t think it was you could easily share one and still be good value
I agree completely!
I believe the pricing is the same in London as elsewhere, although don't hold me to that!!
orite greeno now thats what i call a sandwich that all looked amazing wish there was a shop near me i would definitely be a regular visitor and you mentioned one of my favourite films the birds so props to you for that mate : )
I wouldn’t be surprised if they start rolling out across the country, apparently their London store had queues outside every day.
@@GreenoEats i hope so mate : )
Great review looks yummy ❤
Thanks Simon
Jesus Christ Greeno. Got my tongue hanging out here. Those look the bomb and the granary beef sandwich 😋😋😋 I wanted to say, Sausage Roll looked amazing, plenty of filling. Not like Greggs where you have to be Bergerac to find it.
The filling ratio on the sausage roll was just right - plenty of meat, but not so much that it becomes like eating a huge meatball
Great. I love Bristol and the south west full stop lived that way for 3 years. Keep thinking to move back there from Brighton (not good food)
Glad to have reminded you of a happy childhood memory!
Ahh I miss working in the centre. Sandwich sandwich was an occasional lunch haunt. Their scotch eggs are glorious.
I saw the scotch eggs on the counter, looked massive!
Great looking sandwiches 😀
That they were!
My favorite thing about thanjsgiving is literally cold turkey sandwiches. Wow that looked great as did the beef but that I prefer open face with beef gravy. Great vid.
Cold meats in a sandwich - delicious!
Times have certainly changed, and prices are heading skywards certainly.
Looks good Greeno!
Yes, it absolutely was!
Hey Greeno did that kid just disappear at 3:11? 😂😂 Fantastic editing. Sambos looked really good.
Yep - magic!!
What a knockout wow 😮.
This is a sandwich shop ,best ive seen ,subway who ?? And the nyc delis are not this resonable or appetising but Americans eat anything.
Freash and no cons and disappointment. 10 /10 🇦🇺👍
Yes - really well stacked sandwiches with quality ingredients!!
It sounds like a yummy sandwich shop. ❤
It absolutely is!
Those sandwiches looked to be on a diferent level and great to have that gravy for dipping , i thought of Clarksons pub and the sausage roll and both seem ace , lots of filling - wouldnt agree with prices at Clarksons though - consumer victims 😄
These sandwiches were next level - stacked full and very tasty!
The Best Sarnies are the SALT BEEF Ones Greeno which I am sure you will find at Street Markets. For me the local one is in Edgware called B & K Salt Beef Bar & Restaurant. Huge queues.
Now that does sound good!!
What a bake on that sausage roll .. amazing
Oh yes - they got it spot on
Oh yes, I love a sausage roll,
However, at the moment I don’t like Greggs sausage roll .
I assume that’s a Masterchef reference 🤣🤣🤣
@@GreenoEats I was just joking , I love all sorts of sausage rolls .
Those sandwiches not cheap but packed qnd looked delicious
Yes, expensive for a sandwich, but still decent value I think!
Thanks.
Yes - even though it sounds expensive for a sandwich, when you see how stuffed they were I think they were retty good value!
