Hungarian Food is amazing. I'm lucky enough to have a Hungarian Food Shop near me and the Staff in there really are wonderful (They put up with me butchering their Language...(I have a mental block when it comes to Uralic Languages))...And the products they sell? TipTopDrawer!!! The Charcuterie is just beyond insanely good - The HotDog; That sausage looks like some that I purchased (and thoroughly enjoyed!), it was almost a semi dried/fermented type of sausage, rich with Paprika, Garlic, Marjoram (I think) and Tomato. It had been cold smoked and was crazy delicious gently heated until the skin was taught and crisp. Honestly, some of the best Cuisine on the Planet.

Ive noticed that most "traditional " style hot breakfasts are variations of bacon and eggs . No matter the country . Intersting . . That all looked nice . . The hot dog looked interesting too . Take care till next time . Bye from NZ👍👋🇳🇿🍻 . . Oh . . Mcds have bought out a summer menu here . One burger we have is the Kiwi Burger . . (Patty salad . Egg . Beetroot . .cheese . ) . . Yumm . 👍
Yes, certainly eggs are a breakfast staple everywhere aren't they - and I guess bacon is the most popular breakfast ingredient in all countries where it's not frowned upon for religious reasons. That Kiwi Burger sounds good to me !! I hope you have a great week ahead Roger!!
I used to live a few streets away from here 😀 The breakfast looked fab. Eastern European cuisine has a lot going for it. I lived in Ukraine for a few years & married a local lady 😃
It really was tasty! Careful though, Hungarian folk are very touchy about being described as Eastern European - consider themselves very much Central European haha!
What a nice-looking breakfast, very different from the usual full English. Bread makes the meal rather than the rather soggy supermarket rubbish. That bean dish looked intriguing and tasty. But a hot dog for breakfast, no matter how well dressed, is not fir ne. And I love sausages from Europe, having married my German wife. But not that early, lol. Great review as always. Thank you.
That all looks yummy. I put kimchi, mustard and ketchup in my burgers and hot dogs and the three work together so well as an alternative to the usual flavour profile. I wish I lived nearer Bristol! 😹
@GreenoEats it works so well and is easy to make at home. Fermented products are so healthful too and a couple of tbsp of kimchi a day helps maintain gut health. A good dollop will really elevate your burger.
Well just having a break from sweeping up outside. Scrolled down on my TH-cam and a load of negativity UNTIL I saw Greeno!!! It's Hungarian Goulash on the go in my slow cooker. Haven't tried the canned ones from Lidl yet. Oh such loveliness on the plates there! Beautiful! I am drooling over the beans 🫘. That hot dog would feed two!! I am jealous right now. Green light for sure. 👍
@GreenoEats It hasn't been as bad as I thought Greeno. Blackpool had it bad and I am only 40 miles inland and it definitely wasn't as bad as there. Walk on the Wildside and The Blackpool Lads did a lot of filming yesterday. They got sandblasted. Hope there is no damage to Greeno Towers. Just a bird feeder here. 👍

I messaged the cafe, and they were kind enough to give me the detail of the place they source the sausage from :-) www.kamra.shop/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR39AP1SjUG7KF6B9eOt8h5td9Xt75jHZK80iH73FtP0noYJXsXhYJAP14Q_aem_Mnu5dy4vdc9vwqzG5eaPLQ
It would be lovely to see a Mrs.Greeno review, particularly of a Hungarian eatery!
She doesn't really like to be on the camera, so it's unlikely :-)
Our loss!!! All the best to you both.
@@patrickprice8799 Sorry about that - luckily for me I get to see her every day 🙂
If you could pass that sausage sandwich to me through the digital screen I would be in food heaven. I guess we will have to settle with looking at it. All the best mate.👍👍 Jim and Harriet
Haha, I am sure one day the tech will exist!
That's a HUGE baguette!!!❤
No, that's just the way I am sat..... oh you mean the hot dog - hahahah!!!
Eastern European food is awesome
Absolutely (although don't say that in Hngary - they are touchy about being called Eastern European, preferring the Central European tag!)
You're making me hungry or should i say Hungary!!! That's so cool all the places you have been to. ❤. Have a great day Greeno ❤
You too!!
Ive noticed that most "traditional " style hot breakfasts are variations of bacon and eggs . No matter the country
With real kiwis?🥝
@@rosemarymee only the ones eating them . 👍. Oh btw . . Make sure you take the kiwi seeds out . 🙂
@@rogerreed905 I always eat the seeds. 😊
@rosemarymee haha . . Good on ya . . It was a joke . . Take care💐
Looks amazing. Maybe worth a drive down from Cardiff. 😋
I reckon it could be!
HI good video yum yum 👍👍😊😊
Thanks, it was indeed yummy!
Thank you.
It was a great breakfast. Of course, the hot dog was on the lunchtime menu, but I just fancied it as I knew how good that sausage was likely to be!
A nice little Random Greeno... 👍🏻 I think they should've cut the sausage in half to fill the baguette better it would give more bite quality.. 😉
Yes, maybe that would have worked :-)
That all looks yummy. I put kimchi, mustard and ketchup in my burgers and hot dogs and the three work together so well as an alternative to the usual flavour profile. I wish I lived nearer Bristol! 😹
I like the idea of kimchi in a burger, I might just have to try that!
@GreenoEats it works so well and is easy to make at home. Fermented products are so healthful too and a couple of tbsp of kimchi a day helps maintain gut health. A good dollop will really elevate your burger.
That Hungarian brekkie sure does look good Greeno came out hot too which is nice. Might have to go here someday 🎉
It was very tasty, freshly cooked and piping hot!
Hello Mr greeno , the pun pun oh what fun! why do they call it a flat white? just wondered 😊
I believe it's called a flat white becaase it is a coffee with milk, but without the usual foam you get with a cappucino etc.
That is some nice breakfast. So much more appetizing compared to Denny's. Definitely got a lot of quality food there for a very reasonable price.
Compared to Denny's this was Michelin star!!
A very good looking hearty breakfast, just what you need to keep the cold at bay.No sauerkraut for me but everything else looked excellent.4.7 from me
It really was good Paul. I am sure they would substitute the sauerkraut of fried onion if asked - they seem like very accomodating folk :-)
I work with some Hungarians love their food and homemade palinka 😃
My father in law makes homemade palinka. Mrs Greeno has banned me from drinking it as it is deadly haha!
@@GreenoEatsto be fair it’s definitely been involved in some the best nights I don’t remember 😃
Hi hun.
Ummmm, hello :-)
Well just having a break from sweeping up outside. Scrolled down on my TH-cam and a load of negativity UNTIL I saw Greeno!!! It's Hungarian Goulash on the go in my slow cooker. Haven't tried the canned ones from Lidl yet. Oh such loveliness on the plates there! Beautiful! I am drooling over the beans 🫘. That hot dog would feed two!! I am jealous right now. Green light for sure. 👍
Been a bit breezy up with you then Denise? Same here!!
