    I got the 110v version and love it! It’s a 20 amp so it’s a little limited to where I can use it but I’ve been able to use a surface cleaner at 300 ft with 3/8 hose pulling from a tank with no problem. Really like your videos! Thanks!

    Suttner fow switch st-7 .3gpm is what you need to add to your old one cost $60. Works great , only thing is you have to have a contactor wich your old one does. Ive added to 6 different pressure washers and flow switch with no problems.

      @@autofanaticcars I've got about $130 into it. The only hard part to get is the flow switch. I got it from Kleen-rite: www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-9582-tmt-flow-switch-with-pilot-feature.aspx Northern wanted double the money for it, but this is the same part number I found on the display pressure washer at my local Northern Tool.
      They take about two days to ship. The rest of the pieces can be found pretty easily. I got the 3/8" NPT male x 3/8" quick connect from a local pressure washer store, the 1/4" npt male x 1/4" barb from Northern, the 1/4" hose and clamps from Lowe's, and the cord grip kit from a local electrical supply house. The cord diameter is .312", but the kit I call out in the pictures comes with a bunch of different grommets. I also got a sealing locknut for the cord grip from the electrical supply house. Placing the hole on the electrical cover for the grip is tricky because the contactor takes up most of the space in there, but there is room on the front of the cover where I drilled.
      I don't really recommend anyone that isn't an electrician to attempt this. I was careful to wire it exactly as the new model is wired, so that the flow switch makes and breaks the current flow to the coil on the contactor. If one were to try to switch the motor load directly, smoke would surely rise from the $90 flow switch.

    For a cleaning service it is better to have gasoline engines because all customers won't have that plug.

    • @autofanaticcars

      yes but i do not have a commercial cleaning biz ha ha but many commercial shops and manufacture facilities use these 230V electric indoors which makes sense. I love mine for around the house and to detail the cars. I also have the 230V plugs in my garage for my welders and fabrication equipment so it was easy to adapt to this system

    Love your Pressure Washing Vids but I just don't see how you are Happy with this Machine... Too much Money for it to be Starting like that...

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i use my machine almost every day i love it, the delay on start up in this video was due to intermittent pressure drops from the water feed due to construction work in the area with the flow fluctuating back and forth for months its all good now since the line work was finished. the flow sensor on the machine needs full flow to activate the motor and any drop causes a delay for it to build up
