The eerie version is fine, heck it was reversed, given the original lyrics. Even mixed with the Bertram Piedmont fight. So to answer, deranged is cool.
I love when a game has well fleshed out Ruthless and Pacifist Routes. Being a truly good person, let alone a hero, is *always* more difficult than being a self-interested jerk who only views the world through how it effects them
as a child I never knew you could beat bosses with both Paint and Thinner and that'd change the battle I always figured you'd need thinner because... well, thinner desolves

I’ve never played much of the first game, but when my brother defeated (with paint) the clock tower, he tried to climb up its arm and fell through. (The upper arm had no collision) I watched him burn in the thinner below, afterwards I told him to stay on the hand instead. Perfection~
in my country (Italy) the scratchcards that are sold there have this kind of slogan: "Ti piace vincere facile?" (Do you like to win easily?). I say that using paint it's like the hard work instead using thinner it's like the solution for lazy people
Also the thinner route is far shorter too since on paint route you have to do most or all side quests while thinner you just skip all of them, you also can skip all exploration on thinner route and just get to the end as quickly as possible which yeah further solidifies the paint route being hard work that pays off while thinner is the easy lazy way out

these aren't the only times your paint/thinner capacity can increase; there is one part of the game where you confront the mad doctor who has three beetleworx generator machines. if you destroy them by thinning the eye that you see while their door is open, your thinner capacity increases. if you instead maneuver the ride vehicle so it flies off the tracks and into the doctor's face, your paint capacity increases
dont stress too much. apparently the second game doesn't follow a strict route and takes elements from both. for example, its implied in 2 that you killed the clock tower...and that one guy standing under the safe
Not exactly, Pete and Hook are meant to fight for eternity, that's the way they enjoy living, it's not about actually ever defeating him and killing him, it's an endless ruse of combat they enjoy

There's another 'thinner' way to defeat Captain Hook. Instead of turning the gears to make a path leading the bridge you can also make Hook to collide the walls and at like the third or fourth bump he'll start to dismantling himself
when i played this i had no idea what was i supposed to do so i just used paint. alot of pait just spamming it. then i finally knew how to use it and basically did the good ending after i found out

What happens if you alternate from paint and thinner between the bosses Like for example, what if I used paint on all the other bosses but use thinner to destroy the final boss, what ending would you get??
There's separate cutscenes for each boss, along with a few other sidequests. If it's like the original release, the ending will have the same speech, regardless of Mickey's actions.

The clock tower was the only thing I missed in the perfect run of the original. I had no clue you could repaint his face, so I just hit him with thinner.
I played the original, and I gotta say the new version of the Clocktower is much better with way more details, a new attack, and more slams when there is only one hand left (I think that’s new but idk about that one)

I'm trying to get the Trophy OUT OF THE WAY for the 3rd time and can't get it. Now I found your video and can see that with the cap. Hook can even climb the stairs during the fight. But it's not necessary for the trophy. Even after the fight you shouldn't free the fairy??? Go straight to the chest and take the item and go through the screen?! because you don't show that in the video... And what about the boss: DOCTOR? That's not part of the trophy? So it doesn't matter how you defeat him?

The clock tower was the only thing I missed in the perfect run of the original. I had no clue you could repaint his face, so I just hit him with thinner.
Petetronic is still more faithful to TRON than TRON: Legacy ever was.
I played the original, and I gotta say the new version of the Clocktower is much better with way more details, a new attack, and more slams when there is only one hand left (I think that’s new but idk about that one)
I played the rebrushed demo and I was hoping it would end after the it’s a small world/clock tower boss fight but it ended before which blue balled or should I say blue painted me😅 I have the original game for my Wii way back at st vincent de paul aka Vinny’s that what I call st Vincent for short way before the game got announced for a remake and if I remember before the Wii shop shut down and the switch but anyways I still have the original game and my Wii so I might dig it out of my Rubbermaid containers in my basement along with my other Wii games

I have the wii version myself and it was so good but the remske of it is so challenging and the animation is so good

what happens if you do a mix of both? like say for the first boss you paint them, then for the second boss you use thinner on them? what happens if you keep doing that? would it change the ending? or anything?
It would do a mixed ending, each cutscene at the end has it's own two version, so the scene for that boss will change if you use paint or thinner.

I'm trying to get the Trophy OUT OF THE WAY for the 3rd time and can't get it. Now I found your video and can see that with the cap. Hook can even climb the stairs during the fight. But it's not necessary for the trophy. Even after the fight you shouldn't free the fairy??? Go straight to the chest and take the item and go through the screen?! because you don't show that in the video...
And what about the boss: DOCTOR? That's not part of the trophy? So it doesn't matter how you defeat him?

Ending doesn't change as much depending if you paint/thinner and repaired the animatronics
