Great video, great explanation. It's crazy how these Glazers were able to come in and leech all this money out of the club. Losing both of them at the same time was massively detrimental to the club and we can see the results since 2013. Jose can not save United with a board like that; neither can Zidane. Yes, the players need to put in more effort per game (like the 2nd half against Newcastle) but in a less gung ho approach. Jose as the manager needs to ensure players are doing that. Jose and the players need to understand how the board works and work around it whilst they are still at the club... The club is the biggest thing here. The board indirectly have stated that they are happy with a top 4 finish every year for their profits so until something changes above the manager; I don't see a lot of stability at United unfortunately.

I would like to point out that compared to City, United has more home grown players which always pays dividents in the long term. Something a lot of clubs are forgeting, which is simply sad.
they only have 3 homegrown players at the moment, none of which could sniff a starting 11 spot at city, and in the long term i can only see rashford becoming a very good, possibly world class player but that's a huge if
Yes, they do, however City have none. And given how coaches headed this club are selected soon there won`t be a home grown player at City and the academy is just wasting away.
they have phil foden who is touted to be the next big english superstar, he's only 18 and he has played in 3 league games this season, there's jadon sancho from city's academy who's playing well for dortmund now, also there's inhenacho and several others playing in germany and spain, not every academy graduate can be world class, and you don't even need academy players to be successful(look at R.Madrid)
Sure, you don`t need youngsters to be successful. This is part of the DNA of United and the should keep it. In my eyes a team is better managed if you have players from the academy. Foden sure has talant but as you pointed out he will either be loaned or sold like the others at City.
First, I am Spurs fan, so I have no dog in the Man U vs Man City fight. But something to remember, Man U and, it pains me to say, Arsenal are two of the most well established Academies in the Premier League era. It makes sense that those two are #1 and #2 in terms of homegrown players. Not only playing for the club but for the Premier League as a whole. Man City's owners did revamp their academy after the takeover. But you have to remember that the takeover happened only ten years ago. The "education lag" is measured in decades. It's one of the hardest things you have to fight when dealing with short-term thinkers like politicians and business people. If you invest in education today, you won't see results tomorrow. You'll get the results in a decade. We are beginning to see Man City's education investment paying off in the form of Phil Foden and others. IF Man City still lag behind homegrown player production in 5 years, 15 years after the takeover, then you can slag off City.
Mourinho should still be doing a lot better with the players he has. The board r crap owners but it’s not their fault Mourinho is playing Lingard, Fellaini, Jones, Smalling, Young, Valencia, Lukaku, and Matic over Dalot, Bailly, Herrera, Perriera, and Martial. Although this video shifts the blame to Ed Woodward I still think spending approx. 200m last season on players to gain a deserved 2nd place finish should show some carryover effects to this season in a more successful league finish
I only disagree with the last sentence. United have followed a philosophy under SAF of promoting young players from their own youth squad and not just buy already accomplished stars. Of course RVP is an obvious exception in the last season of SAF, illustrating how easy it is to fall in the habit of buying already prolific players rather than building them. Even Barcelona are straying away from this philosophy as of late. The point I am trying to make is that if you do not allow for a spending spree on the market, you force to coach to look inside the organization and/or to more affordable options. Liverpool have done great at this - again, Van Dijk being the exception where they badly needed to plug a whole in. There are crucial areas where you cannot afford to wait for an young and upcoming player to step up. And this is why those managers get paid so much - they have to constantly make trade offs, evaluate risks and live with the results. And they do need to deliver results, very unfortunately for football, in the short run! And here is the crux and what pushes almost all coaches to go for the immediate solution of buying good players - they needed those results yesterday!
CHEVROLET never paid a penny, They pulled out of Europe in 2013/14 season (before it became the shirt sponsor) and the deal was frozen so technically it's an invalid sponsor.
More fuel for people to say its all fine at United. Anyone with eyes to see, can see thats not the case. We need to bring the footballing side back to the club. A Football Director and 2 smart signings could make us

Edward Woodward released quotes that are opinionated and wrong! If United wasn't the juggernaut it is already he'd be in no position to say the things he said. Success is built on the pitch for the most part, If United wasn't successful on the pitch, we wouldn't be as successful commercially simple as that. The fans make football what it is and that is being lost due to selfish owners and corporate money. Investment in a football team as a football club is a must and this should be top priority. Mr Woodward he thinks otherwise and we'll be on a slippery slope down the table sooner or later, this will be telling in another 3 or 4 years due to lack of leadership, investment and instability. Just like the lack of investment and instability from 2015 to today is showing right now. SAF worked miracles and had the authority and respect to demand 110% from every department of the club! Jose has a very tough job ahead of him.

I thought by now Mourinho would've worked out a pattern of play and what his best team is seeing as he's been here 3 years now. Zidane probably fits the bill in terms of a big name for the Glazers, but this isn't anything like the team he gained when he managed Madrid. If we are planning long-term, I wouldn't mind Jardim.
Like the ending there, the credits that is. Looks really nice.
Oh, and if someone could please start posting the music in these video. We've been complaining about this for a while now.
Arsenal tactics?
Love this channel
GOAT Football channel out there. Hell of a job as always.
FC United of Manchester > Glazers United

Damn, you guys are a great football channel.
Thank You for this video
Top video as always
Thanks for making the video.
You guys are brilliant
You guys have got to do bayern, such an interesting topic, how does a club in today's world with a record signing of only 40m be a top 5 club and how they buy players like Lewandowski and others for such low sums.
By just buying all the best players in a country of about 80 million
again beautiful thanks more videos like this please and about ronaldo and messi compared the whole career
Do Barcelona finances since the sale of Neymar
Must of made crazy profits
@@faithmabel7196
No men, they spent it all already in Coutinho and Dembelé
At least they can get a huge profit after getting them, while MU does not.
That closing statement hit me so hard..
Can you do one for each top 6 club's finance. Now that you've done one for Utd. It's quite interesting!
Have many of the other clubs released their figures yet? I'm sure they will do so once they are announced. (The United figures came out last week so it probably took them that long to put the video together)
1:19 The graph is misleading. Having 500 of city being lower than or equal to 473 of city's.
That's a heck of a knowledge in one video
very intriguing video..
i hope that you get the chance to talk about Juventus Chairman Andrea Agnelli and the way he lifted juventus from almost bankruptcy to one of the most secure elite clubs in europe
Can you do a video on the finances of rangers before there 2012 liquidation
Do one video on Chelsea's current Finances!!
Woodward is turning the club into Kroenkenal 2.0...
I know he started playing Martial but it took him 8 MONTHS TO REALIZE SANCHEZ IS CRAP AT LW. Plus Mourinho is not even using the signings he is given for example Fred, Bailly, Dalot, and Lindelof and isn’t getting the best out of players like Pogba and all other players with flair in them. He also publicly criticizes his players and plays crap football which is unlike Man utd. We have a philosophy of playing attacking football and Mourinho doesn’t do it. Plus he was already given 400 million which is the second most in EPL and we are 10th in the league. The argument that he wasn’t backed in the summer is really weak as Poch wasn’t given anything at all and they have a worse squad than us player by player but they are still getting results better than us.
The last slide hit me hard.
FC Barcelona finances on your next video
do similar video on barca and Madrid
Make one on Arsenal. How Adidas deal will help us
My boi capitalising on that anti glazer with his hash tags. Respect.
Can you do a 'tactics, squad and management if GB were the national team'
Good, solid Man Utd way of football bring in far more viewers and neutrals.
What happened to the podcast?
What is Manchester United needed point
1. 2 or 3 new defender
2. Need to Harry maguire sitting to Subs bench
3. Need to new Team Captain, i.e Paul Pogba
4. Need to Change Manchester United Manager.
5. Need to Henderson's 1st XI regular
This is very very important to Manchester United Future game to Winning Point. Try and forward to Man United Board group. We don't need Jason Sancho.
Note :
OGS Out
Maguire Out or Sale
Very important to Manchester United Future game
Do Chelsea also
Glazers r killing Man Utd.
Can you do his for Sunderland I think it would be very interesting
You should do newcastle
So... What's holding United to not spend then if they're financially healthy?
Glazers and a 447mil debt that they have to refinance.
havent watched the vid yet but instant like
3:00 somes?
Is that 327 mil figure for 2018 for spending for city correct in the last graph shown? Only 2 big signings in llaporte and mahrez.
Break down the Newcastle comeback
Easy question.......
*Mourinho out!* or *Glazers out!* ???
CHEVROLET never paid a penny, They pulled out of Europe in 2013/14 season (before it became the shirt sponsor) and the deal was frozen so technically it's an invalid sponsor.
Please do a whole one on Laurent Blanc 🙏🏼🙏🏼😭
Do Arsenal next
Please make a video of barca losing it’s identity
More fuel for people to say its all fine at United. Anyone with eyes to see, can see thats not the case. We need to bring the footballing side back to the club. A Football Director and 2 smart signings could make us
Do a arsenal finance explain
We've spent hundreds of millions with the glazers. Maybe, if our recruitment policy wasn't so shit, none of this would be a discussion.
How do you misspell sum?
do one of atletico madrid please
United is a brand like Louis Vuitton as for as the owners are concerned gone are the days of fan power in such a global identity.
FUCK! £785 million lost to interest payments. The players we could've bought with that kind of money... :'(
Genuinely don't know why the glazers are bad guys.
As a United fan, like 99% of this video made me really angry.
Living on past successes will bite Utd hard if carries on too long, say 5 more years
Is this the same as Arsenal?
Is it plagurism to write the things said in this video and use it in a coursework for university? Im not sure whether this is just a video or a person reading from a book
You're just too good
True fans support FC United
Mourinho isn't right fit for us i respect him very highly but he is falling out with players as well as management. We needed ibra to lead the players he should not have left even if he played as a sub. Now its all a mess from defense to attack.
Why are you writing "red"? There is nothing about LFC.
Liverpool fans go away
This is United video
Think of what we could of spent in players if only the Glazers fucked off
Edward Woodward released quotes that are opinionated and wrong! Jose has a very tough job ahead of him.
do arsenals
The Glazers purchase of Manchester United should have been illegal.
The upper management of United is Killing the club.

Glazers out
We desperately need a director of football.
Anyone who watched this video and still says "Mourinho out" is an idiot.
I hope you think so too
@@norpriest521 I'm not "Mourinho Out" but doesn't mean he's not responsible as well. With players like Mata, Martial, Rashford, Pogba, Lingard and Alexis he should be able to play better-attacking football. And the one issue I was afraid of when he came was his attitude towards youth and he's shown time and time again his disdain towards them.
@@mahiruddin218
what I meant is even they sign Zidane to manage this team with great players, I don't think zidane can make any different from what Mourinho has been doing so far since the real problem is still there; the Glazers management.
@@norpriest521 There's no structure at the club, no plan compared to City who plans at least 5 years in advance. They are the worst owners in the world and I know other owners have ruined clubs with finances, but no other owners have taken as much money out from a football club that the Glazers have with us. Seems like he ticks most of the boxes apart from the fact he's not managed a big club like United's.
"Last season United were shown live on TV more times than champions Manchester City on the basis that they secure high ratings."
Hahahaha fucking brilliant. Manchester will always be red 🇾🇪
Oh Joe....you're so...divine. I'd love to wine and dine you and chat about the footie
do Arsenal next. XD
Manchester United need to Transfer or changing news.
Any others club players, don't singing contracts to Man United, because this is very very important to Manchester United future all games
1. OGS (Out) not good
❌ EFL Cup: Semi-final
❌ FA Cup: Semi-final
❌ UEL: Semi-final
2. Maguire (Out or Change) not goods and selfish
3. Lindalof (Out) selfishness
4. De Gea (Out) selfishness
Man United need to change they first, this is truth and trusted me,
Season 3 lost trophy
So......still "Mourinho out!" United fans???

Manchester United generate alot of but yet they can't seem to pay of that 446mil debt. Club is slowly dying.
Lets do crowed funding and buy united
Splash more cash than city.
Marketing United
Ed Woodward doesn't care about football. He only concerns about business.
JM isn't the right man for United. His philosophy, his players management isn't match with United philosophy.
These 2 bos should be sacked.
Nah actually 3
Mourinho
Ed
Glazers
All out please
once daily I would keep Ed over Mou tbh. Ed Woodward should stay away from football and focus on business and commercial deals for Man utd. What we need is a director of football, a manager that fit our philosophy, and New owners
