    Yesterday was my second Covidiversarry.
My heart goes to all of us in this horrible, horrible club.
Two years. Two years of this new life. This new me. This new body, new brain, new definition of ability, new job, new goals, new Me!
And ya know what? I found I cared less than I should (could?) It was another day.
Another Thursday where I wake up to Wifey and Kiddo. Another day to do Everything I Can to keep myself from getting worse. Another chance to work hard and get better. So hopefully, when I wake up tomorrow, I can do it all again, but slightly faster.
My job is to do everything I am still able to do to get better.
Not to lament and mourn the loss of the things I cant do.
*And also- to take naps. Lots of naps*
I am in pain, yes. But i am at peace.
And sometimes, thats all that allows me to fight so hard to get better. *Also-Naps*

I dont know if that helps anybody, but it is what i wrote in my journal yesterday.
    Hell of a ride, huh?
I have sincerely enjoyed your podcast, channel, and forge ahead attitude.
I also rewatched your 2 year video.
My voice and brain are still struggling to work together like they used to, but you articulate so many feels that I share.
Thank you for that, and for being an advocate on our behalf on the podcast.
I hope you hear this often, but Youre Doing A Wonderful Job.
    We all are, in fact.
We’re all doing as much as we can. Every day.
    Strength and Health,
    COVID is Stoopid

      THANKYOU :)
And those time markers can be hard right? I find birthdays & christmases hard too because it's the time when you reflect & look forward. But that's very hard with LC.
      Keep going - you'll get there :)

How are you doing? I have had quite the struggle with this thing, the heart arrhythmias are the worst for me. I have felt like I was going to die many times, Its pretty scary.

Some of my more recent videos will hopefully be a bit more positive! I'm recovered now - about 6 weeks ago, working on recording my recovery story :)

Do you feel any better overall than say a year ago?

Definitely - it's hard to tell in the shorter term because it's so up & down. But yes, significant improvement on a year ago :)

good to hear..i'm sure you tried everything... you mentioned you have major ans malfunction at this point in your recovery.... have you tried an herb water drop thing called phytocalm? i've only been able to eat about 6 foods for a year and a half or so....taking some of that in my water has helped me incorporate a few more low histamine foods...herbologist recommended it....saying it helped majorly with like spanish flu stuf years and years back. regardless..i'ts cheap and you can take just a little (put like 2 or 3 droplets in your water everyday). if your system is still allergic to everything....sorry for the long response... supposed to calm the ans and strengthen jacked up adrenal gland malfunction from long covid.

Have you tried changing your nutrition to see if it helps?

Yeah I've done a lot on that :) I'm not sure I've noticed a lot of difference from it but it all helps.
