Something about those last couple notes just give me chills every time. It's a perfect end to the song because it seems to provide closure, yet at the same time a sense of wonder of what will happen next. Not to mention that haunting, outer-spacey feeling it leaves you with, which goes well with Samus flying away from the debris that once was Zebes, the planet she familiarized herself with throughout two whole games.
Are you using a different amp from before, Grant? Your tone is different from most of your stuff. I actually prefer the old Stemage sound! But this is an incredible arrangement as usual. 5 stars :)
Oh man... Now that I visited this song AGAIN, unaware that I actually have been here before -- not to mention also considering the fact that I just took the time to listen to it from beginning to end this time -- I realize now that I was being negative when I didn't have to b! It's just that it can b hard to get used to the things that make metal what it is sometimes, add to that the metal version for lower norfair didn't turn out right to my ears, for sure... So, I'm gonna have to stand by my decision (or strong perspective) based on the very unusual style of that 1. But it's also that I'm not used to hearing 'extra stuff' either. That's y I often now listen to a song TWICE, because that's what I have to do, just to make out the entire melody!! It sure can b a BITCH sometimes, I'll say that much! But I will admit tho that I was WRONG about this song... IT IS EPIC.
As Videogame Girl Hitler eradicated billions of life forms in one blow she contemplated such existence for a few seconds. The thought flew away as fast as she flew away her space ship from the destroyed planet's super nova. She looked back. The colors were pretty.

First that amazing album and now this.
The beginning of this song is so badass.

I freakin' love you guys! You're the best at recreating original Metroid music into Metal :D
Keep up the good work guys.

@Odima16 And during her childhood. She was certainly a bit sad about Zebes being destroyed
YESSSSS!!!!!!
Same amp for rhythms. Mixed a bit differently. New stuff for leads though. :)
Makes a while I played Super Metroid... gotta be honnest, I only reconized the song @ around 0:57 ... This is quite heavy :)
I envision a future filled with Metroid games hacked to replace all the music with Metroid Metal!
That'd be beyond sweet!
