Hard for me to understand why separating sole from rand (as you showed on the LS shoes) means the rand needs to be replaced. I've got a pair that has that problem, worn down to the rand on toe tip, and softened to where they feel like a great glove. and the repairman said the pair is toast 😒
Jonathan Wu thanks for watching! There shouldn’t be any noticeable fit difference, which is a common reason ppl opt to resole shoes instead or replace them. However, if you want to resole fully leather shoes (a more flexible material) and are going through a less-than-highly-recommended climbing shoe resoler, it may be worth asking them to be sure, since it is possible they stretch out your shoe if they use the wrong form size.
Do you get out much mate? If someone doesn’t ask for an opinion on one’s hair, outfit, look, etc, then you usually don’t give it. That’s just rude af dude, no one needed to hear it, and I’m certain she isn’t about to change that cuz one TH-cam commenter said so.
