5,000hrs into bf3, waited in line at GameStop on release to get it, never did that before for any other game. It was such an amazing game at the end of it all.
To think that a game released in 2011 still looks and feels amazing just shows how capable of an engine Frostbite is and what happens when developers actually put effort into a game. Still one of the best games I've ever played
The vibe of BF3 was phenomenal. Everything about the game combined into the immersive experience it provided. Lots say BF4 is the epitome of Battlefield, but imo, I don’t think it had the same gravitas that BF3 did.

@@ImoowhenIPoo I think it’s subjective. Like most, the 1st is always better than the sequel. For me, BF3 was my introduction to frostbite 2 which brought me back to so much fun. That engine was sick. Although the beta was glitchy AF, it was still a lot of fun. Hence why I believe BF3 was the greatest out of all of them.
I miss the Rush gameplay in this game. It made for some really crazy moments and the way the maps progressed in Rush were so fun. I hope they can bring that element back.

BC2, BF3, BF4, BF1 was a golden era for the franchise in my opinion. Oh how wish I had a time machine to go back relieve those experiences for the first time again.

Man I played the beta and wasn't impressed at the time, having sank so many hours into BF2 and the BFBC community and just seeing it as too much like CoD. Only last year did I download the full game, got into it, and regret not playing it when it was in full swing. Now all my fav Battlefields are but a nostalgic memory, with the exception of 1943 still going kinda strong on Xbox 💪

A remaster for next gen consoles would have made SO MUCH sense considering we never got the true FULL game like pc...I miss those 12hr Friday night into Saturday sessions. I put almost a half a year of game time into this game. Truly miss this

As someone who's played both: COD was good up til just after BO3 (excluding ghosts). BO2 is still great to this day. Battlefield however I still play to this day. BF3 was great, and BF4 is just BF3 but better imo.

They could've kept the core gameplay this way and just improved it as they went but instead they gotta "start from scratch on every new project". Yeah that's proven to be very effective for them. 😐
So thankful that I was able to experience BF3 in all its glory. Such a good game and put countless hours into it. It’s unfortunately super dead on console now and there’s a bug that sometimes won’t let you get into games. Frustrating but glad I was able to experience it while it was at its peak🤟🤟💯

BF4/3 Are amazing games with amazing maps/guns, after going back to them I can't get used to not having peripheral vision with bigger scopes
If Battlefield 3 was "rereleased" with an actual in game server browser and live servers, people would jump back on it in a heartbeat. I know I would.
It was the first battlefield I played. I loved it.
Most fun ive had on an FPS. The mic only servers were amazing! so much great teamwork and epic battles

So thankful that I was able to experience BF3 in all its glory. Such a good game and put countless hours into it. It’s unfortunately super dead on console now and there’s a bug that sometimes won’t let you get into games. Frustrating but glad I was able to experience it while it was at its peak🤟🤟💯
The sound alone with the battle batter + all the sound effects is truly breathtaking!!! Of course extra so with that unmistakable theme song!!!
No matter how I’m feeling or what I’m doing. When I hear the BF3 theme tune I want to run through the tunnels of metro with an AEK, defibs and a M320.

Once in a life time Experience. No other FPS Game had such an impact on me. My great beloved COD4 MW was epic too. But this one? This one hit me different. And I did not see it coming like this. Miss those days ❤

I used to play it on PS3, im on PS5 now and not a day goes by where i dont forget that wonderful game. I wish i had the PS3 still and could play that now, i love BF3 because it was my childhood game. I miss BF3 ❤
You're about to miss it even more. Dice announced they are shutting down BF3, BF4 and Hardline servers for PS3 and Xbox 360 this November 7th
