Hey Payton, we met at Mary Jo Peckham Park. I already got my free bag along with the "Buy 1 Get 1 special" a few months back. Nevertheless, don't ever lose the bushy hair!
You’re a little late. I claimed my pack a couple months ago when they first announced it. I think my pack should still count towards the 1000 people tho. Love your stuff! ❤
Nice videos. Would be nice to know the fish you are catching. I'm from Ireland and not always familiar with some of the amazing fish in your waters. Thanks for sharing! 🎣🙌
At 0:59, I think that is a small redfish. At 1:54, that's the most popular game fish in the U.S., the largemouth bass. In the net at 2:57, I believe those might be crappie. Redfish and snook are salt water or brackish fish; largemouth bass and crappie are freshwater, so it's surprising to see them caught together.
WILDLIFE! What's going on man! I'm going to order a pack of those cool looking lures and see what's up! Great episode man I love that keep on getting down!
Redfish down town is pretty cool! Snook is even cooler. Only time I’ve ever caught a snook anywhere around here was a baby in a castnet right before Galveston
I heard the snook used to be more prevalent back in the day. Probably the pollution changed all that. Nice catches!! I don't want you to cut the hair 🤣 but I do want you to move those baits.
That's buffalo bayou not the san jacinto river.the TNRCC monitors all outfalls not to mention environmental in all the plants too. and are very strict. I definitely wouldn't eat anything from there but it looks like some good fishing. Oh the waste pits are definitely monitored also.
@@fishingwithcolt3648idk if they tell you let me know I been looking for a spot to fish 🎣 with my son for a while now I think it’s off of s.wayside drive
If you knew what I did about that plant. Worked out there 2006-2016. Seen many a bull red & huge cat. But when you're seeing that many fish by the outflow you really don't want to be anywhere near that water.
I know this may sound dumb but it would be good if you could put the equipment in the description like type of rod and reel. I don't know why and it may just be me but I'm always curious and try to see the brand and models of rods and reels everyone uses. I really like spinning reels I can have fun just sitting in the chair reeling one maybe it's the figit factor but they seem like a work of art to me. It's a lot more audibly and visually appealing to me to watch someone with a big fish on a spinning reel than a caster.
The reason I don't generally do it is because I'm at the point where I have sponsors for various products. If a tackle company wants advertising from me, they have to pay for it.
@@wildlifefishingshow yeah its a very good bait spot just tricky to get to luckily i know one just as good you can catch carp , shad and mullet left and right.
Not that I have caught but I'm told there are big blues and flatheads on the bottom under the bridges just a few hundred feet downstream Very deep (40 ft) and powerful current, big heavy tackle needed
@@wildlifefishingshow that's what I figured. I live in Baytown fish between here and Freeport mostly. Occasionally hit a few spots in Houston and from what I've seen there's tons of signs that advise not to eat the fish. Not so much on the coast but ship channels and such.
Been watching ur vids a good while. They’re cool. Would be better if you’d tell us where you were. Doesn’t matter much to us if we don’t know where to go and do what you do.
@@SOBaseball Definitely Buffalo. I've seen many videos of many TH-camrs fishing this exact spot. Some TH-camr was fishing this spot 3 years ago right before the pandemic and saw someone trying to swim across. Sadly they didn't make it because the water was too cold.
It’s in 5th ward but you’ll have to do some searching on google maps for bodies of water! From experience there’s fish in almost all ponds in Houston haha
That is my favorite bait and fishing spot. On right you can cast net for tilapia- against the wall. Just left of wall is good for reds on shrimp. in middle off corner is good gar fishing. To left middle left and left is good catfishing. Have landed bull reds, 4-6ft gar and 25lb+ catfish all from same spot. Plenty of mullet here
that's not a good fishing spot , its a catch and release spot nothing is edible out of there i live in that area that location is called Denver harbor going to magnolia and that foam is from the waist water treatment plant draining right back into the bayou so yes big fish big gars but not to take home and eat yes waist water . a shit plant
Nothing is free of you put your card details in. Free lures is not free if you habe to cover postage for the same price you'd buy the baits for. Talk about clickbait!
It would be nice to not publicize every spot in town man. At least don’t have the camera angle so large every land mark is visible via Google maps. Every person I’ve met there says they found it cause your channel. Take that into consideration.
Bro, if you look at Houston on Google maps for two seconds or just search "Houston spillways" you can find this spot immediately This whole spot has been known about for decades. When I first found it everyone was complaining about how everyone knew about it "these days"

Gonna try to fix that in January

All that toxic waste coming from the San jacinto waste pits.

Those are right off of I-10 on the San Jacinto river
I would fish it but I wouldn't eat none of them I drive by that spot a lot and it just looks like a sewer.
Handy beach to cast from... tail less fish... amazing!
Great video keep up the great work!
Awesome vid 👍 I grew up a few blocks from there. I never knew there was redfish and snook there. 🐟🤙

There's a weird dead end that sits right next to the plant entrance. Big enough for four cars. I park there
