I was told to stop to many times. Why can't they have a cap on every System not on the whole game and Universe. Fallout 4 lets you build as much as you want. ANYWAYS YOUR BUILD GIVES ME HOPE. Thanks man! Yeah this took roughly 30 hours. Most of it was just trying to figure out where to put the first piece and not die from the constant radiation storms. Good luck on base building though, once you start you can’t seem to start.
It’s just barely under the 3k limit and have maaaybe 1k left in total over the 16k max limit. Thinking about erasing my small base and making one last chunky boi.
You probably aren't bad at it, it's just very time consuming building bases, especially more exotic/extravagant, and large. For instance, I spent 2 hours building a base on 2 hills that crosses a small body of water like a bridge and I only got the foundation, walls, and roof up. That's not much at all compared to what it will look like or what still has to go into it.
I only found out about the space station parts a few weeks back. Had to go back in all my bases and refurnish them with the goods. Soooo much salvage needed.
I came across Shanny through Drunken Peasants back in the day, then during the lockdown I caught a BGTV stream of Rev and her fighting If I remember correctly, she had that big crackhead ass bow on her head while they were fighting. Shit was hilarious "Leave me alone: last gasps of a dying relationship" I think was the video.
I build many walls and somehow base appears! That being said the one I’m working on now really has me hitting my fins up and down the walls. So many possibilities and ways to go…
What kind of personal touches you have in mind? Tried not to go too overboard with the personalization due to build sizes so I mostly stayed with only really personalizing the rooms. I’ll most likely be redoing a bunch of these builds and posting the remakes down the road. Still trying to learn the ups and downs of good building. I may have played over 500 hours but that’s honestly nothing in this game.
@@t5unami195 unfortunately you cant add NPCs but you can add objects, and the variety is not so bad but I hope developers add more of them, you can also resize these objects. Your building looks like a map ready to play on. Interiors could tell stories. Unleash creative mind and feel free to add whatever you want. If you did this way than add more whatever you like.
@@lichdesign Oh like the green jellyfish gotcha. But yeah I try to make my bases as playable/RP useful as possible. No point in having a cool base if you can’t make a story out of it.
Oh I spent actual full days exploring the galaxy looking for systems with deep oceans. The only downside to this planet is that all but one of the 6 species that lives in it are jelly fish. The other one is what I can only describe as a thin Greenland shark.
Yeah this took me foreeeever to lay out right. Yeah my Processing Plant is enormous and mysterious, but it doesn’t have the same dangerous atmosphere as this does.
That’s exactly how I had to do it at first. But I figured it was just as easy to just do it fully with the circular rooms and then just delete and place the frames in their place one at a time till I hit the bottom.
Great job! For the future, it may be easier for both you and the viewer if you shoot most of the base from the first person, moving with your character. This creates more immersion and helps understand proportions, and there are no issues with camera panning speed in this case. A free camera is better suited for long shots, establishing shots, and to show hard-to-reach areas. You shouldn't abuse it. P.S. The music box really annoyed me the whole video, ambient or theme music is much better suited
Oh I’m clueless when it comes to mods. No all this was 14 hours of nonstop vanilla OCD. Think this is symmetrical just wait till I’m done with my freighter.
@@freedombird7426 I had an idea what I was wanting to do but it never looked right. I had deleted it twice before I got it right. And that was with my TerraTech oil rig idea from my old videos as a basis.
Hey thanks for the comment! Yeah I just through this together to show some friends what I did since they don’t play. I didn’t think this would blow up like it did. I’ll be posting more in the future and will put more work into what I post! Have any ideas/advice? Would be greatly appreciated.
How do you build extractors and such on an oil rig base? I built a base on a floating island and the game won't let me place extractors anywhere, not even gas extractors for oxygen farming.
That might just be a glitch right now with the floating islands at the moment. I got all of my extractors and such to click right in the room on the ocean floor with no issues.

Seria muito legal um jogo online que as pessoas fizessem as coisas e não NPCs que tudo fica igual... Imagina se vc cobrasse "x" U$$ para fazer uma base dessa, ou algum item do jogo que valesse grana na vida real, pessoas com talento tem que ganhar dinheiro, vc ficaria rico, ou mais rico... Rsrs

Thanks! Yeah I’m glad I made it at least 3 blocks above the waves. If I made it at ocean level the waves would be clipping almost through the roof. 😂

how did you stack so many of the circular frames on top of eachother? I have to alternate between them and the circular rooms to to stack.

Yeah it has to be close to the 3000 limit. Most of my bases have to be rebuilt at least two times before I get the limit right.
