What’s up man. Original Troodon is my fav too. Usually not into the bigger ones but something about the new scarab does it for me. Just a side not the original scarab is same oal as a utx just beefier. The 2.0 is a much larger knife than the original scarab (hoping the bring that size back)
I wait till the next day to decide if I still want to buy the knife . If I miss out so be it , but that my rule . I waited 3 months to buy the makora dlc shadow
I love the glass breaker. It's just a really cool feature and can be useful in a pinch. I know Bearded Gear doesn't like it, but it's all good. To each their own.
I deff agree on the pricing. I love my GTs but the scarab locks up tighter than any other otf I own. Id honestly argue that it doesn’t even move, I certainly can’t feel it if it does lol
I got the Shadow version fully serrated! It's pretty friggin dope.
Best way to go . I ordered the makora dlc serrated can’t wait . All my microtech knife except the Jedi knight is serrated. My bravo is part serrated.
The newer scarab 2 shadows have additional fluting at the base of the blade. Same model number though

CNt buy a otf with out a dagger. The steak knife otf is not for me , and it’s a shame it don’t have the flutted blade like the dagger dose .
You have the Butterfly and Spider tax as well as the Chicken foot tax. 😆

Good looking knife but I think the Guardian Tactical are two steps better in how they are designed and function with a reasonable price
