@@Maxdestruction_Racing I started with a TLT-1, then got a second one. When I moved here to the mainland, I went and bid on a Juggernaut, even though I knew she’d be a fixer upper. My best friend bought me the Clod the same time I got the Juggernaut. To be honest, I didn’t want the Clod at first, because it’s not a shafty, and I’d have to put 2 motors, because I knew I’d want to put brushless if I ever got one. But, I learned to love her. 😊 If I can afford one, I’d buy a TXT-2 next or an LMT, although I’d like to stay Tamiya.
@@galkawarrior nice,my first RC Monster Truck was a Kyosho USA 1 electric, then second would be the Tamiya Juggernaut #2,then 3rd Clodbuster.......
@@Maxdestruction_Racing I take it back, my very first hobby grade one was a T-Maxx, the very first one that came out with the smaller motor, but I didn't really consider it as a Monster Truck, because it doesn't have 4WS... 😅 I was driving it around Waikele Outlet, when Kmart was still open, and some guy came up to me and offered me money, and then I sold it, and bought the TLT-1. 😁
dang !! lots of dedication .. nice. hats off to you on the electronics, I would burn down my trucks trying hop ups with electronics. need to learn lots more.!! that's why I love channels like this..JB-WELD is awesome, didn't even think about it for these. wonder if Robinson racing makes steel gears for this..?

@@galkawarrior Thanks you too! I have not measured the speed but from what I experience, it is WAY more fun on 3S! 2S it feels more like a crawler, with 3S you got the punch and you can jump with it.
Just feel on the motor so it does not get too hot, but (yeah, as you know) don't go full throttle all the time and you're fine.
I do recommend 3S. The battery I use have 100C DR so it's great punch!
@@Heizekel77 Did you have to modify the hole to fit the battery? I had to enlarge it for mine, I'm also using 3S LiPo 4000mAh only 40/50C
@@galkawarriorHmmm, yes and no. Not the width or the height but the length. I bought the battery tray, 3d party, extension to make the battery tray longer from side to side, so to speak. Still I am not sure it is needed, this was due to the length of the battery and I bought the hop up parts before the actual kit.
