We will never forget this day in Nepal! We woke up in our homestay in Ghandruk to see the most mesmerizing view of the Annapurna mountain range! We explored Ghandruk Village by foot, took in the sights of every day life in the mountains and enjoyed the warm hospitality of the Gurung people.

This is a wonderful series. Life changing for you and I think life changing for some that watch it as they will be moved to travel to Nepal after this. I retire soon to Thailand from London but feel that I have missed something here in Nepal - I will have to think on how I can travel there, now that I am in my sixties. Most of the houses are built out of stone, stone slabs and mud; well-resistant materials for the cold weather. Few houses in the region are found to be made out of concrete, cement and bricks too. It connect the major roadways to many other important villages leading up to Annapurna Base Camp.

When you connect with the mountains, the love for nature is something else, its hard to describe! Personally, I felt calm, happy and petty in and among the gigantinc Nepalese mountains. I miss them mountains so very much while watching it here from south of Ontario in Canada, which is pretty flat. I want to thank you for visiting my home country. Not many Canadians travel to Nepal as its too far from here. Looking forward to your Canada series as I haven't travelled here at all. Take care Flora and Note and best wishes!
