It's been over a decade later and that has scarred me for life..
I absolutely love watching these videos. The positivity of the kids and the adults make it so worth it. Sometimes I have a super bad day at work and I'll come home and watch these and I end up with a huge smile on my face. I love the kids and their families on here. They're so charismatic and sweet, these parents raised some beautiful loving children, keep up the fun and the videos! You're teaching these sweet babies about different cultures and all walks of life through these meals. They each tell a story of someone's history and ancestry. They'll grow up to be greatly accepting to diversity💞
I never understand why they would give unsweetened mate to kids(or to people not used to mate , really). The taste is strong if you are not used to it. I've been drinking mate all my life and the first sip of the sugar-free version still shocks me whenever I take it that way.
I wonder if using cold water would have been better. I'm Canadian but my family is from Paraguay. Never cared for hot mate with sugar. But cold and unsweetened I could drink as a kid. But it's been 35 years since I had it. Still have some gourds and bull Horn's with bambillias as a conversation piece.
