I gotta be honest: I was more than a little disappointed with the American release. I can understand the music issue, I never cared about that. But Yatter-2 and Tekkaman Blade just felt too much like echo fighters to their counterparts and it would have been nice if a little more was done to differentiate the fighting styles or even going with another character from those franchises. Plus, I was super bummed Hakushon got the boot and I seriously doubt that one company in Europe was putting up that big a fight over him. Especially considering the main creators were on board the localization team.
The only Tatsunoko character I've ever known and he had to be the secret character unavailable to me. I also know Speed Racer, but it would've been great if he was in the game too.
@@KazeShikamaru believe it or not, he was cut cause of copyright issues, not popularity (Hakushon Daimaou is actually incredibly well-known in South America lmao). He got replaced with Yatterman-2, Tekkaman Blade and Joe the Condor (and Frank West I suppose)

Loved the Japanese port.
He got cut due to him not being popular. Yatterman 2 is actually not an actual fighter. I agree with Blade though.
American release has better music in my opinion
