Alif Satar Checking Out Proton S70 on Genting with YS Khong! | YS Khong Driving

- We were so fortunate to be able to arrange a drive with our local superstar @Alif_satar. Proton kindly loaned us the recently-launched Proton S70, and we took turns to drive.
We V-logged the entire session and we share it with you, so we can all see how a superstar thinks and drives.
It turns out Alif is actually a very good and safe driver, and I am happy to note he uses the push-pull method for the steering, just like I do. I use a combination of push-pull and hand-over-hand but I am predominantly a push-pull kind of person.
Due to a broadcasting accident we couldn't get the face footage, but you can still enjoy the video.

Alif is a very smooth driver. To drive like this on a public road involves looking very far ahead and planning a line for the car to follow, this is why there was very little steering input and using the road space effectively. This is talent 👍

Firstly, it is optional; better to use manual or use a lower gear for smoother climb with less gear hunting. And whoever says it is dangerous clearly knows not ehat he is talking about.

Amazing driving skills, Master Khong. Each time I see you push any car you test to the limit. How do you know the car has already reached its limit and can't be pushed further? I believe the screeching sound proves that the car's tires can't handle the pressure during cornering and skidding.
You never know the real limit, but you kmow when the tyres start to slip. The better the tyres the higher the limit. A bit of work on the suspension and tyres will definitely up the limit and even a brake updraflde will improve the stopping - all will ad to the agility of the car and this the fun factor will increase. This is a good base car for those who want performance on a low budget. It is fun by itself, yet there is plenty of scope for development.
