Great image and edit! I think you may have mixed up the term crushing the blacks with fading them. I believe crushing the blacks is to make the darkest tones darker, crushing dark shades of Grey into black. Vs what you have done here is the opposite, raising black into shades of Grey, fading the blacks. "Fading" may be a colloquial term, but I think crushing is pretty well established as a defined term.

your job was great!!. I have a comment, though. LR never works with originals. So, you may want to duplicate, as you did, but not because you could damage the original. Looking forward to see more edits from you. 'All the best.

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah agree with your comment. I always duplicate for a changed version because normally with a client job I always deliver the clean colour edit as well as the modified version. Sometimes the client doesn’t like the new colour version.
Looking forward to sharing more edits with you all as well 👍😃

Thnx for the good content! But why this backround music? So disturbing. So distracting. It destroys the quality.

Glad you like the content. 😃 I’ll take your suggestion on changing the background music for the next video I make.

"amateur" does NOT mean unskilled. I am an amateur photographer. It means that my photography is for fun. I have none of the constraints of having to earn money from my work. Your use of the term is insulting.
John Peter Russell was a significant painter. Look him up. He sold NO paintings.
