I love how drones were quickly phased out of Battlebots because of how quickly people realized they had no real function. The 2 most memorable drone moments were just them getting destroyed.
The early reboot seasons had a lot of drones because the weight limit went from 220 lbs to 250 lbs for modern BattleBots. A lot of teams just didn’t update their bots to the new limit due to time/cash constraints so they just threw in a drone because why not? They weren’t using the extra 30lbs anyways until they could upgrade
I wonder why no one thought of using an electromagnet and tether line so it could lift the enemy below to a standstill allowing the primary bot to attack the enemy? Or maybe drop a tangle net to disable enemy weapon.
@@timmyreobed5043 Except for I think it was season 1 where they kinda forgot the no entanglements rule. Legendary moment from free shipping having a fishing net inside a present box.
One thing I thought would be cool is if they would do a “boss battle” The boss battle bot has no rules or limitations to its build. And there would be four people trying to beat it.
I can’t remember if you can use magnetics in these but it would be interesting to see someone use really powerful magnets to grip the opponent or to get extra traction to keep from being tossed as a good electromagnet can exert hundreds of pounds of force or more
Beta uses electromagnets to suck itself to the floor when hammering. A couple of bots (Tantrum, Blip, Claw Viper, End Game, Skorpios, Shatter!, Sawblaze (?)) use permanent magnets to create additional downforce and grip. It's also not a new idea, the original Beta in classic battlebots couldn't enter season 5.0 because the permanent magnets at the bottom picked up the floor plates out of the arena.
My fave BB battle ever...Witch doctor, wrecks, biteforce. The commentary is hilarious. There’s also 2 semi trick shots in it. Wrecks bitch slaps witch doctor out of the arena and buteforce saved himself by using the hazards to his advantage
“Who ever thought a rake could be used as a primary weapon” is not what I care about or amazes me. What really amazes me as that the rake is the best trick shot in the video of trick shots
During the Witch Doctor bounty tournament one of Subzero’s wheels was ripped off and knocked Spitfire out of the air I believe also in that same tournament malice had another end stand while also knocking spitfire out of the air
Not sure if Complete Control vs Bombshell counts as a trick shot, it did what it was meant to do. Warhead vs Complete Control though, now THAT was a trick shot. Also Blip vs Big Dill was a good one though I'm not sure where that came in relation to this video
BattleBots is already an international competition. You're seeing the highest level of tech available in robot fighting. High tech is not always better
Check out robot wars from the early 2000s if you haven't already,, there are a bunch of full episodes here on youtube. The newer bots in battlebots are definitely objectively much better with more reliable electronics and they're built for a purpose, but there's a lot more charm and soul to the early 2000s bots. I love the new series too but the trash talk and crazy outlandish designs keep me coming back to robot wars
@@txvtxv2389 of course I do, if you remember me I am actually the one who predicted endgame to win the giant nut just from beating tombstone in episode one of last season.
The rake..... most epic take down in BB history imo HAHAHA
as Martin Mason from madcatter once said "oH YeAhhhHHHHH!"
Yeah that was the funniest and best moment ever. A cheap garden rake to take down a drone that cost god knows how much to build.
🤣🤣🤣bruh im just getting into this I didn't know you can actually make something like
I just keep laughing when I see that😄
I love how drones were quickly phased out of Battlebots because of how quickly people realized they had no real function. The 2 most memorable drone moments were just them getting destroyed.
Yet a few still use them. Same with the mini-bots. The number of times those have any real effect are close to nil.

Entanglements have been illegal since before Battlebots was even televised, that's why.

so like robot wars "house" bot?
I would like to see that! :D
Robot wars' house robot rebellions.
Could require major safety updates. Even bar spinners have been known to yeet their opponents so hard they penetrate the barrier a good few inches.
This is why OOTA wasn't fully banned.
0:39 End Game: *(*throws Tombstone*)*
Ray Billings: *Bruh*
Bronco vs. Stinger was another good one.
Are we really having a Trickshots compilation without Warhead?
Forgot about that one!
Forgot to include the impressive flips/gymnastics in Huge vs Mammoth
_That_ fight was a treat to watch, holy fuck.
YOOOO 1k likes! Should I make a part 2?

Things you never want to hear in BB: _Complete Control has complete control_
I can’t remember if you can use magnetics in these but it would be interesting to see someone use really powerful magnets to grip the opponent or to get extra traction to keep from being tossed as a good electromagnet can exert hundreds of pounds of force or more
You can only hold them for 30 seconds before releasing them.
Bite Force used to use magnets on its tank tracks for extra grip back when it was a grappler.
They'd fuck with the floor and operation of the bot, electromagnets would make the battery too heavy as well.

Would die for SubZero vs P1.
But I was screaming when Tombstone of all Bots was thrown out! I loved it!
Although I wonder if that counts since that's SubZero's job...
I feel bad every time he loses. He's my fave.
“Who ever thought a rake could be used as a primary weapon” is not what I care about or amazes me. What really amazes me as that the rake is the best trick shot in the video of trick shots
I know these are mainly launches but are we going to ignore the Chomp vs Bite Force fight and the lucky precision shot on Bite Force's weapon train.
viva la rake ‼️

You missed the vanishing act with minotaur and cobalt
Huge getting split in two... Poison Arrow (??) sending Son Of Whyachi across the ring, having it hit flat and DIE immediately on impact...
Battlebots season 7 is confirmed to be filming on October 18-30
Amazing how Battlebots managed to adopt an equivilent of Robot Wars' "Out of the Arena"s
what kind of ruins it in battlebots is them still having the ref do the count out when it should be an instant end to the bout
@@cole003f Yes, I don't blame them, they haven't had them before so I don't think they really knew how to deal with it.
That fucking corner. Biggest hazard in the battlebots

I want a battle bot japan version! their tech is advanced, I can't imagine how many varieties of robot they can make

japan has this bipedal robot fighting. I've been waiting for japan to scale up those.

When he grabbed the drone and started beating on it i laughed how the opponent just stood back and let him do it lol
might as well add sawblazes recent tournament run.
3 different bots 3 saw shots 2 battery packs and one weapon chain
Tombstone almost landing in Lisa Winter's lap.
Did you see the championship finals on Thursday?
Bombshell vs Cobalt was a proper one too
This is oddly satisfying.
In short, be afraid of End Game.

Warhead vs complete control left the chat
Amazing lucky hits!

Great video
Quick to the left, twist, shoot. That's how you do a trickshowth
Tombstone finally loses
So awesome 😎
Is there a limit to how many weapons a battlebot can have? Asking for a friend
i dont think so, but most bots only have one weapon because then they can save some weight for extra armor. There is Fusion that has 2 weapons though

Anyone else notice that he almost cut him in half 💀

it gets the wheel perfectly stuck in the screws

what's the point of having these flying drones if they can't get shit done?
Looking cool, I guess? There's a reason there's only one drone standing nowadays
Too shortly cut
i dont really understand what trick shots r
The rake is OP and should be banned.
I prefer watching a match from start to end . Dont like this short clips from all the matches combined in one . Annoying
where are the "Trickshots"
it meant basically knocking bots out the ring and just more big hits i guess
