Note - I noticed AFTER production that there was a few camera glitches (3-4 maybe) in my feed that I did not spot during recording (I cannot see my feed when I am recording). Apologies for the slight graphical hitching when it appears. It's a small blip, but thought I would add this note here nonetheless. Have a great weekend!
I only just realised that we are in June and the shipping date is July. Mentally I have been assuming I wouldn't get anything until October, but it just hit me how close it is (on paper). I don't mind the external PSU either.
"We will start to make the tutorial videos now. New videos of the production versions will be posted as soon as those units are ready." written in the comments section just 3 hours ago ! Hopefully we'll see something very soon.
Thanks for highlighting that mate! Just had a look. Yep, glad to see them addressing this, but still feels later than it should be. As I said in the vid, I appreciate we are talking about Kickstarter and not an eRetailer and finished product distribution. But for them to repeat that the End of July deadline is still targeted, but have no case to show, seems tight. Especially when they made 5 updates in the last month or so. none of which showed the case. I imagine this will be rectified shortly. Most of my points are clearly observations at best and non of them are life/death (eg the backer-only updates and videos on YT being unlisted), but at worst they are red flags and at best, they become things that Storaxa remedy as they are raised. Either way, better to discuss them. Cheers for watching man!
@@nascompares I couldnt agree more. They shoulda shown more of the product by now. Im particular nervous cause I supported the Dune Case last year... founder ran away with the money on that one :-( Hopefully wont happen here.. then im deffo gonna stop funding stuff :D
The reason for only one year certificate renewals is because of Apple. Ios and macos throw certificate errors for certificates longer than one year. So pretty much everyone has abandoned deploying multi year certs

Honestly an external psu without a fan is much better than a internal psu with a fan like my qnap.
