    I just love when someone's so into their trade that they just can't wait to talk about it, them stumbling over each other about who's showing what next is just so enjoyable.

    Like many other people who have just watched this, I want to come to Paris just to buy my next pair of glasses. Epic episode Hugo. Kudos to the young man diligently working away in the background who didn't once glance up to check out what was going on between you three.

    I am happy to report that I had a fantastic experience at the L'Ingenieur. I have never had such diligent and knowledgeable service when getting a new pair of glasses. I got 2 pairs, plain and sunglasses that were perfectly fitted and look great. I am very happy! Recommend completely. Thank you to Margaux and Pierre!

    Having glasses from Maison Bonnet is such a theatrical experience with amazing materials & craftmanship. Franck Bonnet's face is perfect canvas for any glasses, whatever he is trying in this video looks amazing on him.

    Listening to this was bittersweet for me. Sweet, because I know whenever I go to Paris next where I will go to buy glasses, but bitter because it reminded me of when I bought my first pair of glasses 18 years ago. The gentleman, who was approximately 80 years old then, taught me all of these same things about fit, so that when I would eventually have to find a new optician I would know how to find a good one. He lamented then that this would be difficult, but if I had the information I might be able to. Sadly, since he passed away many years ago, I have found that there are no good opticians left in the USA. Most of them can't even be bothered to dot the pupils. I have to instruct them to do so, instruct them on how to adjust the tilt, etc., and then usually I still make final adjustments at home with some opticians tools I bought. It really is a shame. As long as I am lamenting, I also lament the end of companies offering multiple temple sizes, as I require a 150mm temple length. I wish I had known about L'ingenieur Chevallier when I was there in November, as I was staying just a few minutes walk away from their shop.

      @SARTORIALTALKS  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dear friend, no regret because in November the boutique and atelier were still in renovation. Now you know where to go, and you'll be treated the right way. Thank you for sharing your memories. All my very best, Hugo

    I love looking at eyewear. I have always worn glasses since I was two years old, and all of these wonderful companies showing their skills, blown away. Last year I bought my first pair of Maison Bonnet from London, as I couldn't get to Paris.
    I am looking for my next pair. I might have found the highest contender, I just need to get to France.
