  • Chicken Kassa Recipe
    -Chicken Marination:
    Chicken - 1 Kg
    Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
    Kashmiri chilli powder- 1 tbsp
    Salt - 1/2 tsp
    Curd - 4 tbsp
    -Mix and marinate for atleast 1 hour
    -Potato Fry:
    Mustard oil- 6 tbsp
    Diced potato - 3
    Salt - 1/2 tsp
    -Cover and fry the potatoes until it becomes soft
    -Keep the potatoes aside
    -To same Kadhai, add more 2 tbsp of mustard oil
    -Add below mentioned spices
    -Bay leaf - 2
    Red dry chilli - 2
    Green cardamom - 4
    Cinnamon- 1
    -Add 5 thinly sliced onions
    -Fry until in medium flame until it turns light brown in color
    -Add 2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
    -Mix & cook until raw smell goes away
    -Add tomato purée of 3 small tomatoes
    -Add below fry masala
    Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
    Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
    Cumin powder- 1 tsp
    -Mix and cook for 5 minutes in low to medium flame
    -Add marinated chicken and mix properly
    -Cover and cook in medium flame until water starts to release from chicken and gets soft
    -Add 1 tsp of garam masala, 1 tbsp of chicken masala, fried potatoes, 2 tsp of Kasturi methi
    -Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes in low flame
    -Serve hot with roti or paratha or puri or rice
