we went to japan for 3 weeks in April and Coco Curry was on our itinerary because i loved your original video. And I gotta say the curry did not dissapoint. I added cheese, garlic, and got it spicy. So amazing. I miss Japan.

Martina, thank you for risking it all to show and taste some coco curry lmfaorotfl 😂🤣😆. I couldn’t stop laughing! Great video, I knew there was a dark side to Japan, somehow.
On my last trip to Japan we went to Coco Curry 5 times in 2 weeks. 😅 No regrets! There are 2 branches in London now but it's 3 times the price of Japan. 😭
Yes!! A coco 2.0 video!! Ty king Kogi!! For giving the people what they need!! It’s been two weeks since I got home from Japan and I am saddened most by the fact that I can’t have coco!
There are many different kinds of Japanese curry, so he just hasn't come across a good one yet. There is definitely a type of Japanese curry that everyone likes. From spicy to sweet, from soupy to thick, there is a huge variety of ingredients. Well, Okinawa has a unique food culture, so maybe that's why there isn't much curry.
You are correct! - Coco Curry is addictive. The first time I had Coco Curry was in 2017 at a crowded Shibuya location. There is something about their sauce(s) that is unlike any other. I dunno what they put in it - but there is an element of umami that is super good, and keeps me coming back for more. Add to this their deep fried cutlet offerings, and its a combination that is hard to beat.
Love CoCo Ichiban...first time tho I had a level 5 (mid spicy I thought). I spent 30 min in agony. Sweat just pouring down from everywhere. Level 2-3 is what I do these days.
100% agree with absolutely everything you mentioned and I too have been to the Coco Curry culinary dark side several times (when visiting Japan), not only because its damn fine and highly addictive, but its soooooo reasonably priced too and the service is fast!!
I feel 100% seen. I tried Coco in Korea 5 years ago and haven’t shut up about it since. It’s on my list when I go to Japan this year and I CANNOT WAIT. Love from Canada 🇨🇦
Omg yay Martina I went to the one here in London* for the first time ever recently and I thought of you. The menu is a lot simpler here but I really enjoyed the experience, apart from the 'service charge' slapped on the bill at the end, which is becoming more common over here in the UK. I had a simple meal combo consisting of the tonkatsu, curry & rice, a side salad and a drink. It was very good, and my highlights were the delicious sesame miso dressing on the salad and the delicious pickles. You're the CoCo Curry Ambassador! And yes thank you for saying it's a Schnitzel! It was about time someone officially said that haha! Love your t-shirt btw. *there are actually two in London now!
I've been addicted to CoCo Curry since I was stationed out in HI in the early 2000's. Sadly we don't have one on the East Coast of the States. Last time I had some was on a road trip out to CA. Thankfully I've been able to make some at home that is close enough that it keeps the craving at bay.
I can not believe just how much she smiled..it was something missing.she tried.we understand and I think we got an extra one helping with those smiles..Hi! Dan.. glad to see both have become smiley mcgees. Love you guess.still no snow in alaska yet
Don't fall for it, guys. It's too delicious! Coco Curry is always on the menu when we visit Japan. Though we are super lucky as there are two restaurants in London now! So whenever we head into the city, we try and pay it a visit 🤤
That’s great to hear! I try my hardest to make an enjoyable ad. I really dislike watching a TH-cam video and then there is a jarring ad that just comes out of nowhere, and they look like they’re reading off paper unenthusiastically.
Oh myy I miss martina!! Upload more often please, with more food adventure, japanese chain restaurants review, or just b gyu gourmet!! Love love love ❤❤❤
😭💕 omigosh i just went on a kick of watching all your old videos and wondering when you would upload again on this channel. I’m so excited to watch this, especially as a fellow coco curry enthusiast 😭 i miss it so much
yes, I tried it in 2018 per your older recommendation! I got it with tonkatsu, egg, garlic and cheese I think. T'was delicious! It's great to know that there are so many of this chain restaurant around all Japan , you can crave it anywhere and have it so fast! lol
They opened a Coco here in TX! I've been a long time watcher for more than a decade and have never been able to travel, so when I saw it I immediately asked my husband to take me for my birthday this year (it's like an hour away for us)! Can't wait to try and hope the US hasn't taken the Japan charm away from such a sacred place 💜
What an action packed video! News reporter Martina, the highly addictive curry of coco, sexy food shoots with deep voice commentary, plus hacker Martina! This video came too late to stop my addiction, but I still can blame Martina for introducing it to me through the previous video lol
Thank you so much for yet another fun and informational video!! I've been having a rough time but whenever I tune into your videos I'm reminded that life goes on and there are so many things to enjoy 🫶 Can't wait to go back to Japan and run right to the closest Coco Curry 😋🤤🍛
You guys introduced me to Japanese Curry and I have been on the hunt to find the curry cubes, found them after few years, and now I have a real problem cuz I think I have an addiction 😂❤

i have my first trip to japan with my cousins during the end of july (scared for the summer weather lol) and been binge watching your videos martina!! they've been so helpful and i'm excited, hoping to visit places you've recommended
I remember the OG Cococurry video so when my husband and I moved to Korea 2 months ago and I saw one I flipped out!! He was so confused so I had to educate him. He now loves that place and we are heading to Japan tomorrow so we are excited to try it there cause the menu seems so different than the one by us in Korea.❤
I know it's flavor is probably a little different in the states, but Martina did warn us and I can confirm that after trying it my sisters and I are sufficiently hooked. Now we're cursed to forever crave Coco Curry. It's just so good though!!! 🥺😩

I loved Coco Curry on my recent trip to Japan. Once we found it we had it 3 days in a row lol. I'm vegetarian and it was so great to actually get a whole bunch of veggies into my meal! Loved all the add ons especially the full vs half sized, and the garlic chips were great. Definitely recommend to any vegetarians visiting Japan, its a great fall back plan if any of your restaurants fall through as there is always a CoCo near by. We never had an issue getting a seat eaither 😊
I tried CoCo Curry the last time I was in Japan and OMG I had no idea that it was going to be that delicious. I'm glad to see that there's an English option now because navigating a large menu only in Japanese was tough. This will be my #1 stop next time I'm in Japan.
Hey Martina! I want you to know that I’m watching this video while eating Cococirry for the first time! I got the limited-time tonteki curry with mushrooms, half cheese, garlic bits, level 5 spice, and potato salad! I thought “potato” would be potatoes in the curry but it was a mini potato salad instead 😀It was perfect for cutting the spice tho!
I had a level 10 back when I was visiting Tokyo, the guy next to me started up a conversation with me after hearing me order a level 8. He told me I was "top grade" for eating a level 8. Level 8 was no joke haha, but I really loved. Loved being able add the toppings, really miss it and will definitely have it again when I go back next year.
So after watching this video and coming back from my holiday in Japan, i realized i missed out on the Coco phenomenon...BUT to my surprise, there's a Coco Ichibanya not too far from where i live here in Texas!! Needless to say, im always begging my friends and family to go cause the Coco cravings are REAL!!❤ Thank you for bringing Coco into my life Martina🥰

Honestly, I would have never stopped at CoCo Curry if it wasn't for you. So the first time I went to Japan several years ago, there was one across from my hotel so I had to try. Yup, it was sooo good! I have since been several more times all across Japan thanks to you!! You need a CoCo Curry sponsorship or something!
