I put the lights in the body, you know, where the lights go. Just trimmed the bumper down, and screwed it into place behind the grill. It's already the correct width. The biggest deal is, Have fun. 😀
Hi! Late to the vid but love what i saw. Tip: If you have not done so already. Invest in the FIRMA brushless system for these lil guys. You get so much more low throttle control. Well worth the 50 bucks. I too have the high clearance links on my C10 and love em! Also the Injora oil filled shocks are pretty smooth. Just make sure the shaft "O" ring cap isn't screwed down too tight or they will get stuck. "Rock" on my dude!🤘
I have these boulders in my yard and I decided to dig up the “whole” jagged rock and I have a huge rock crawler course it’s about 30 feet long curved rock with ledges and stuff and I have some old rusty pieces of metal I made into ramps ( Rust makes it more grippy) Cheers mate
Oh wow, that's a pretty impressive upgrade. I can see many instances where it the truck isn't bottoming out like at the beginning on the video. And for the price?! Crazy cheap. I ordered the same kit here along with the Gladiator and a few other things, which should be here by the end of this week 😁 taking notes on installation to get the idea of it. Thanks 👍
@@RCCarfleet Nice! Is it flexible enough to droop over a dirt pile to give it shape? Might be a good thing for building an indoor course or mounting a couple to a board for an uphill climb challenge to test mod's on a consistent surface.
If you haven't found shocks yet I recommend the RCAWD oil filled shocks. They're very nicely priced and work really well on my Gladiator with RCAWD portal axles and Injora high clearance link kit with 4 link upgrade for the front.
Are getting the weighted hubs worth it? I was looking at what injora has and wasn't sure. I ordered the linkages and sway bar but did not get the cover.
Just an FYI I learned watching EXPIOWA's video's on SCX24 mod's. Your driveshafts need to be in phase. They rotate smoother and put less stress on the motor. He's got a bunch of videos on all the design flaws in these little rigs and how to fix them. Really worth watching his how-to's. th-cam.com/users/EXPIOWAvideos
@@RCCarfleet He's got a bunch of free mod's that I'd have never thought of or noticed, like that drive shafts being out of phase right out of the box. Checked my DB and sure enough, they needed to be put in phase and it does make a difference. Keep a piece of paper handy to make notes! LOL!
Siiick bro!! I love these 24 scale rigs!! I mostly keep my channel to a mini crawler channel! Check me out! I got some great mods to the upgrades that are sick as hell and I rok injora hop ups mostly!! 💪💪🔥🔥💪🔥🔥💪💪
Best video out there explaining this in detail. Especially for newcoming rc people
Thanks
Hats off for the time it took to weave the wire to make that twig bridge!
I actually bought the bridges from the dollar store haha there meant to be fences
@@RCCarfleet 🤣🤣🤣 That's awesome! Dollar store for the win! I'll have to remember that!
Great video on installing the high clearance links. SWEET course man! I will be watching to see what else you do! SUBBED. Keep up the great work!
Thanks man!!!
Ditto on the course
They're so cute with the short wheel base the little tires and the bumper hanging up on everything. Lol. Mine used to look like that.
Have fun.
Ya I just took my bumper off haha cheers

If you let me come over and try your track, I'll bring lunch.
Deal ahaha
Happy to subscribe. I like your approach at videos and your demeanor.
Thanks a ton!

Ya I love the upgrade so far!
Thanks for watching
Nice review, I like mine, they’ve held up great against rocks. Good stuff in my opinion 👍👍
Thanks! Ya they’ve been great so far
Great clear video learnt a lot a a newcomer to this great hobby
Cool course man. Great content!! New sub.
thanks! I really appreciate it
bro you must've spent so much time on that log bridge, it looks amazing
I bought them like that from the dollar store haha
6:39 I aam here to see where those o-rings go on the brass links I got from Injora for a C10. Thanks! :)
use a toothpick to put on the little O rings to make it fast and easy
1:15 Is the a pebble wall tile square!?!?! That's a brilliant idea for making terrain!
Ya I got it from the dollar store but it was to flat

@@wingnutbert9685 you you can kind of shape it
I like these but wish the branding was on opposite sides... looks silly enough that I almost want to paint them.
I know! I saw that as well drives me a little crazy ocd haha
Love the video man straight to the point,I have the Jeep.
Thanks bud! The Jeep’s sick
Thanks for posting. Mine are on the way!
Np!
do yall see that bug on the rock to the right 11:59
20.00 for Injora scx24 gladiator links not bad at all!
great video, very helpful! good shocks are injora 43mm aluminum shocks
Thank you!
@@RCCarfleet yeah
Love your stuff, looking forward to a suspension "worth it or not".
Thanks!
Of course I had to subscribe to show the support!!💪💪🔥

Awesome install 😎
Thank you

Gold things, bushings?
Ya
Did you time your drive shafts? If not, you'll have binding causing unnecessary motor heat and wear.
No I don’t I’ll check that out
@RC Carfleet keep up the great work
Do
You see any issue with your articulation being compromised after putting these on ? Looking to get a pair. Cheers
Not really
I went with 43mm shocks now tho
How did you get those bloody o-rings on the brass bushings?
Just used my fingers
tedious as hell tho hahah
Will the deadbolt links work work on the Jeep Wrangler
I don’t think so
I believe the deadbolt and Betty are the same
Jeep and c10 are the same
The jeep gladiator has longer links and I'm pretty sure all the others are the same length
nice one mate!
Thanks
While your doing a link upgrade, you might as well phase your drive shafts. Makes a huge difference in vibration!!!
That’s a good idea
you should spray paint to styrofoam to look like rocks or dirt
Are getting the weighted hubs worth it? I was looking at what injora has and wasn't sure. I ordered the linkages and sway bar but did not get the cover.
Weighted diff covers are the best I’d say
Why not switch the front to a 4 link?
Might be a future mod
Was kinda disappointed it wasn’t a 4 link setup but also not
Great video. Just sub’d
Thank you!!
Did you have to change the driveshafts?
No
That hiss... how do u get rid of it?
What hiss?
Do these add mass?
A little more then stock but not to much
How are your wheels staying together without the center bolts?
I bought them used and didn’t know they had bolts there Not sure haha
Do these work on the scx24 jeep version?
I think you need ones that say Jeep specific
Will these fit on the JLU
Not to sure
