Dasettan's son Vijay Ji is shaping up as a good and seasoned carnatic singer due to his commitment, concentration and confidence. Voice is inherited by him as a KJY family brand. Additionally , Vijay Ji can change the tempo of each song for creating variation in mood. More variety carnatic songs can be tried to be sung in future. Though came late to xarnatic stage, Vijay Ji deserves a wholehearted appreciation, more accolades and recognition as a carnatic singer as well. Let Lord Guruvaayoorappan blessings profusely fall on him for continued success, good health and rasikas support and gatherings in the time to come
