Having developed true multi-modal hybrid motors, as opposed to merely fitting out traditional combustion motors with electric capabilities, the Jogger HYBRID 140 guarantees:
Electric start 100% of the time
A pleasure to drive in all conditions thanks to enhanced electric driving capacity, even when accelerating.
Excellent fuel efficiency, especially thanks to the automatic transmission feature when coupled with the clutchless dog box
Efficient regenerative braking and high battery recharging capacity. The culmination of years of experience for Renault Group in Formula 1 and electric vehicles.
These features mean the Jogger HYBRID 140 can run in all-electric mode up to 80% of the time on city roads, for 40% fuel savings compared to an equivalent petrol engine in urban cycle with similar driving styles.
Kinetic energy can be recovered during slowing and braking, then transformed into electrical energy to recharge the battery. The battery can also be recharged by using the ICE motor using energy management rules designed in a way to run at optimum output (for example, when Jogger is on the motorway) to get the most power from the fuel used. This means the battery charges whenever energy output exceeds the required power.
Excess energy can then be used to alleviate pressure on the combustion engine during hard acceleration, or to ensure a full-electric ride when the preferred route goes through urban zones.

Best test drive of the hybrid that I've seen 💯
Thanks for feedback 🙏🤗
Hello from us in Holland, we are SO glad that you improved this car 👌because… we ordered the Dacia Jogger Hybride Extreem last month. Now, we have seen your test drive in which you give us a detailed impression of this car, we are more enthusiast and can ,nt await the delivery. Many thanks for your video!! Greetings from us in Holland 🌷🌷🌷
Thanks also 🙏🤗 Enjoy the car
Did you get a chance to check the sound quality of the audio system?
Best review I've seen so far, both this and the overview in the other video. Keep up the good work man, I hope you get lots more views!
I just have one question, does the electric motor picks up the slack when the combustion engine makes a little power? Like when doing a overtake on a smaller road, I Don't want to stay on the opposing lane more than needed. Or during a long climb on the road, specially when using cruise control.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks 🙏🤗 it does but don’t imagine it is something crazy. It just help a bit. I plan to redo the tests soon and try a better and more interesting Test drives 😁
@@SDADanCars I see, well, still it's nice knowing there is some "spare power" for when it's needed, a little as it may be.
Just to give you some context, and hopefully it might give you some ideas for your future reviews, I ask because I had a 100HP car before, great for city usage, but it always felt like it was lacking on the road, specially during long and steep climbs. Where I felt the car struggling to maintain the cruise speed of 120Km/h when climbing. Considering that in northern Portugal, we have a very mountainous terrain, those long climbs are very common. Also, I never trusted the auto transmission to correctly judge the gear when overtaking on the smaller roads, I always felt like it was missing that extra power, so i reverted back to manually selecting the gear.
Anyway, I asked because that's about the same power that the combustion engine in this car delivers alone so I feel like I would fall back into the same problems, but if the electric engine helps a little, I could see it being a nice little upgrade from my current situation.
The lag that you mentioned during the video, would you say it's comparable to a CVT transmission car? I always felt like they have a little extra lag over traditional auto-transmission.
Thanks for your response man, can't wait for the new test video.
Completely agree. A total of three excellent review videos for one car, totally brilliant… very impressed indeed. Think I’ll be going to the Dacia dealer now for my own test drive… keep up the great work!
Good review , thanks 👍
Thanks 🙏
Thank you for the review.
Thanks for feedback my friend 🙏
Your test drive was excellent Dan. Very detailed. What is its price and when is the car coming to Greece so I can order one? If you know please inform me.

Interessant, danke für das Video.
Beim Toyota HSD System, spürt man Vibrationen wenn der Verbrenner aktiv ist 😟
Opel Astra 1.5 CDTI 122PS/300NM, avg 4,5 l/100 km. OK, not 7 siter, but same weight. Car with 122PS and max speed on 210 km/h!
The 140 HP engine. For those who thought 110 HP was not enough.
👍
Do you prefer Renault Arkana full hybrid or Dacia Jogger full hybrid ?
Merci Dan pour cet essai

Very nice Car, comfortable, nippy and easy to drive. Problem is leg room in the second row seats behind driver especially. This is a showstopper.
Thanks for feedback 🙏👍

A kiedy automat, ew powiadomcie mnie
Joker ?
There is no need to drive on B mode. When you push the brake, it recuperates, but you do not need recuperation in every situation. So - more economic will be in D mode.
And most important - DO NOT trust on the board computer! Full - empty - full tank is more accurate!
Yes true 👍
