I love mine too. With the 6 speeds and the counterbalanced engine it does great as an enduro to get me to the woods 30 miles away. Its just a fun capable bike that is a great value for the money. The only minor complaints are that the chain seems to stretch some after every few rides, and the airbox was hard to take off, other than that its great.
Purchased the same bike last summer to keep on the back of our RV as a runabout and light dualsport. It's actually a great little bike and the price is of course amazing.
Ty for the video. I was researching the Hawk 250 bikes and your video popped up and I was like that is the bike I WANT. plus 6 gears and a counter balance engine?!?! Awesome!!! I will pay the extra to get the better bike. I really like the seat on your bike. That was one of the things that I wasn’t crazy about on the hawk. I got the 250 titan w/o the street package. I love it. Shipped to my door in 5 days (AZ) was easy to assemble. It starts right up and goes like stink. I’m 5’8” and will say it was a little more bike than I bargained for, but I’m also about 220lb so I was worried a 125cc might struggle with my size. If you’re on the fence, get off and order this thing. I think these bikes have matured to a sweet spot where they’re still cheap but the components are top notch (if you watch videos of 2020 and earlier models the front forks look almost like bicycle forks) I say get one before the market catches up and they jump up in price. I got mine from a dealer having a year end clearance sale and paid $1250 ($1550 with shipping). Side note: the title did take an extra week to show up after the bike, but since mine isn’t street legal it didn’t affect me much. FYI I got mine from powersportsmax (tip: just order by phone, their website checkout is a little janky)
Yup. Set it up properly and adjusted for rider weight etc and it's a ripper. Using mine for trails in rough terrain. Totally capable bike. Feels like a legit dirt bike. Carb does lack the adjustability of others like the Nibbi like mixture screws etc.
I was actually reading a comment on another video about these bikes and someone was saying if you take the housing off there's adjustable screws beyond the housing or something and that the stock carb is perfectly fine if you adjust it properly
I bought an Xpro in 2020. From transaction to getting titled was flawless. I did a quasi super moto conversation on mine for cheap and it runs and ride ok for the price.
I got one a couple months ago. Put the Nibbi on mine too before I even rode it. Seems like it was jetted well for my 500ft elevation in NC. Hit 73 mph indicated on mine hadn't topped out yet. Think its about 65mph GPS. Have you found a way to calibrate the speedometer? Amazing bike for $2,000. If you told me it cost double that, I'd believe you.
I'm probably going to get one, been considering it. I just want something I can trail around on and I really like the looks of the bike and for $2,000 I can ride it to the trail and then if I get bored of and I probably sell it for 12 to.1,500 bucks and not feel bad about it

I have the Apollo thunder 250 now. I’m going to get this just to be able to cure around town without worrying about the police bothering me about it. For a street legal ready bike man for the price this isn’t bad at all.💯👏🏽

That is a nice bike. After much research ing I find this to be the best bang for your buck. All considered. I see a lot of people change rims suspension exhausts seats speedometer ect.. this bike has it all 6 speed counter balanced engine and more. If you don't mind me asking where did you purchase, what state and elevation do you ride and did you have to adjust the nibbi carb? Thank you and enjoy

I am in las Vegas it is about 2000 feet above sea level and I used the stock jets that the carburetor came with pre installed I did not look to see what they were I hope this helps you
I don’t know how to do a link but the carb is on Amazon just put in PE30 NiBBi in the search bar and it will pop up. It is the single carb with extra jets you don’t need all that extra stuff it is $ 63.12
Yesterday, 03/14/24, I searched Amazon for this bike. I got nothing. Hawks, scooters, "sport" bikes, go carts, you name it. No Templars. Out of curiosity, I googled the xpro Templar 250X and much to my surprise, Costco had them for $69. Wtf is going on? This is just weird.

From what I can see it don't have blinkers. Or dose it. In Washington state your bike is saposed to have them to be street legal. High and low beam ? Same thing. Horn . Do they have all this
Yeah my XR250R is a 6 speed as well. But not street legal. Even though people get plates for them. Don't know how no blinkers no hi and low beam light no horn no break light.
Does the rim easily bend, like I was watching another video from a professional, and he had the same bike, he showed that the rim bended after a jump. Is that truth? Is this bike that cheap? Is there any market specialized that sells and replaces better parts for this bike? What is the most cheap piece on the bike that you have ever seen?
I haven’t seen anything like that if you seen my TH-cam video, my son jumps that bike super hard and far and had no problems. I really can’t find anything cheap on the bike. Good luck and if you look up around Amazon for aftermarket stuff, you can find it.
In some comment threads read guys saying “You shoulda got the zz1 qr 97.9 pro xr!” “Dumba$$” or some hateful thing like that. I know nothing about motorcycle except that when you crash it hurts alot. But I’d like to have a dirt bike in the back of my truck like all those cool guys do. Just for looks. These bikes look cool af. And they’re cheap. That’s all I need. 😂
The templar 250cc, 6 speed has the 249.9cc engine delivers 19.4hp, all other so called 250 they are either 229cc (13hp) or 243 (14.5hp) believe me it makes a big diff.
I’ve been doing a small battle with the Wisconsin Department of transportation in trying to put a license plate on my ex pro does anybody know or have a picture of the DOT certification they claim there should be a sticker on the motorcycle I can’t find it and Powersports doesn’t seem to want to provide anything. How did you guys license your motorcycles? I would appreciate any input or a photo of a DOT sticker or location on the bike
@@Mikeysparts I think it’s absolutely crazy. But I’m living in a liberal state. I’ve asked to have the MOC changed to motorcycle, not off-road motorcycle as the original. I’ve literally disassembled the entire motorcycle looking for the sticker and it just doesn’t exist. They have to be EPA approved or they can’t be imported but that fell on deaf ears. I appreciate you getting back to me It’s extremely frustrating to say the least. With front and rear disc brakes it’s probably the safest motorcycle of the five I own. Thank you very very much!
@@Mikeysparts I did that today but the liberal state that I am in wants an EPA/DOT certification sticker they claim it should be on the motorcycle somewhere and I literally took everything off the motorcycle looking for it and cannot find it. I did a little bit of research and supposedly any engine imported into the United States has to be EPA approved or cannot be imported. I’ve contacted the vendor with both requests unfortunately I’m not able to get anyone on the phone it’s all by email. It will be quite disappointing since I’ve installed a lot of aftermarket upgrades. Thank you for taking the time to reach out I appreciate your time and your input very much! I’ll let you know how the thing shakes out!
Problem with Chinese engines is hard as helll, I can’t even replace 2 valves on my bike company doesn’t sell anything, pissed isn’t word. Spend bit more on Japanese bike 0 All fum when you first get it,
All fun and games until you try to jump it or get too aggressive. Ill pay the money for one of the big 4 before cheap trash. Having the frame, tree or forks fail at high speed is a recipe for death !

Your going to love it. It is so fun to ride street or dirt it don’t matter.
I wonder if there is a larger gas tank available. A Husqvarna frame, there has to be something. Problem would be attaching the shrouds.

The EFI version with a 6-speed has a 3 gallon tank. I'm not sure if you can interchange it though. I think it's the XPR.

@@gingerbolamyeh there are brass plugs you drill out then you can adjust. I’d adjust the pilot screw first to 21/2 out

Someone found a way to change the tire size. They made it read it was a 19 inch tire and it was perfect. Idk how they did it but they did
I haven’t had to recalibrate mine yet I checked it with gps and it was good
I found mine to be off by about 4 mph at 60. I was actually just considering a slightly larger rear tire.

My MSO came about a week later took it to the DMV in Nevada in and out in 15 minutes with registration and title in the mail no problem

Just depends on what parts you’re trying to find I found that some are pretty easy and some are kinda tricky to find.

How does the clutch and shifter feel on it? Does it find neutral well?
The clutch the shifter the brake’s all feel Awesome and it finds neutral no problem
What did the MCO Come as off road or motorcycle?

Not really State Farm had to do a little research on the builder that’s Zuma and then it was no problem

Look up the JTA210 sprocket and use that for your specifications and you should be good that’s the rear sprocket I have

Thev 249cc engine will cruise at 62 and top speed close to 72 mph
62 cruise/72 top speed is for the 5 speed, 6 speed is morelikly more.

I had no problems dmv did a vin inspection and gave me a plate. I don’t know anything about a Dot sticker

68 was top speed with stock rear sprocket 49 teeth 73 with 42 rear sprocket
