It’s 8/9/23 I’ve been waiting 4 months for an intake manifold for my F250 the dealership called yesterday and said it “ should” be at their shop 8/18 but I’m not holding my breath. Like you I have a farm and i NEED my truck. I’ve spent well over $2000 renting trucks for farm chores. No one is going to convince me this whole thing isn’t by design!
I'm dealing with the Lower Control Arm being on freaking back order!!! My Escape has been in their shop since August of this year (2022)!!! They're NOT trying to solve anything!!! I've offered SEVERAL different options, even SELLING them the vehicle or order to get a new (used) one and they're not willing to even do that. I'm about to contact an attorney!!! I'm STILL PAYING my monthly payments for a vehicle I can't drive!!! This is unacceptable!!! They're still making trucks and SUVs everyday, there's something wrong here!!! Don't get me started on Car Shield!!! They're part of my problem in this situation too. UGGGHHH!!!
My 2013 F-150 needs a muffler and a rear differential housing. It's been since last November. Sitting at RedRockFord of Williston ND. They can't get the parts. It's my family vehicle that we own and can't afford another vehicle for years to come.
The root of the problem are the Cafe standards and emissions. To meet those standards, manufacturers have to get really really high tech (electronics) and light. Vehicle are not getting that much higher MPG or lower emissions but the price keeps going up. In the end more things to go wrong cost owners time and money. The fix IMO is be a gear head and keep is old school. Along with a parts rig or two
My 2020 MDX has been in body shop since 11/21 waiting on ONE part! (today 3/6/22) I have exhausted every avenue to get answers on when the part will be shipped and delivered.
My suv a 2017 buick envision has been at the body shop since January 18th after an accident. I am being told the car is painted but their still waiting for a condenser that has a national shortage with no estimated in stock time. I’m not sure when I’ll get my car back body shop doesn’t know either.
I have 2 cars sitting in a collision shop due to theft for months due to no parts I asked my insurance company to just total the cars so I can move on with my life. I was forced to buy 2 used cars for my wife and I to get to work. So now I pay car payments for cars that is just sitting plus insurance on 4 cars now . No parts !

Seriously about the sweater, it needs to make more appearances. I was also half expecting that segment was announcing your swag store so… we know what Stephanie’s future job will be. Crocheting thousands and thousands of sweaters for the Farmer Shane Flock.
Absolutely unsustainable...buy decent old iron, rebuild or replace wear items.. the rest is a horrendously overpriced scam and money pit of despair. Don't ask how I know ...thanks Dodge.
30 days without my car, sitting at a shop that doesn't need OEM parts. I can literally buy this part from several places and they still haven't gotten it. I'm at the point of just buying my part myself and taking it in.

It took 7 months for my transmission module on my Ford focus to ship in. Ridiculous
