    I’m sorry, but that’s not true. It doesn’t necessarily start with the pump. You need to test the slave itself to make sure it’s not the problem or there’s a blockage in the power steering unit itself. I have replaced the pump on a Kabota tractor this week and it was not the problem with the steering.

    • @farmershane

      It all depends on the growth. For me it took as much as 6 hours to clear an acre. Other areas less than an hour.

    Man my dad threw me in a truck and said move it 😂 Love this man teach em young and standard 👏 that's a torque monster to learn on too and 1st is basically not there 😂

  • @GarbageGarageInc
    @GarbageGarageInc 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Teach him clutch feel first and that it’s his “safety” that disengages power from transmission. the truck has enough power to move out of idle and not stall, move on to moving and shifting after they have the clutch down, same applies to motos,

    • @farmershane
      @farmershane 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good advice. I actually swapped this to a manual from an automatic and didn’t swap the PCM and ECM so it does stall a little easier with the auto tune.

    Good job young man and great job Dad for being patient. This is a skill he will remember forever. Truck clutches are a bit more difficult than the small car clutches. Finding that "bite" or "sweet spot" makes it easier. Hes having the time of his life. Standards just make the driving experience more stimulating.

    • @farmershane
      @farmershane 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      He was a little apprehensive but I encouraged him to give it a shot and he ended up getting it down pretty quick. He’s been operating our manual tractor for a few years so just a bit of a learning curve on the pedal work.

    If you have 4-wheel drive it will lug slower making it easier to learn as well

    My parents let me drive since I was 10. First on our property, then on back roads, then the real roads. They made me navigate from the passenger seat when i wasnt driving (this is before gps). They made me rotate tires and change my oil. When it was time to let me go off on my own, they were confident i knew what i was doing. Times were different and parents didnt catch charges for preparing their children for life. Abfew years back i took my INCREDIBLY SMART 15 year old nephew driving with his learners permit. He had no freaking clue whaf he was doing. Hitting curbs, over steering, and slamming on brakes. My son is 12 and hes also learning a manual on our families farm

    Nice going young man keep practicing👍🏽 Sometimes it helps het a feel for the clutch pedal if you practice srarting out in Low or 1st and NOT using the accelerator pedal just clutch and onve you get rolling then accelerate... Taught my daughters this way ❤

      A lot of people let the clutch out too fast and it pops your neck. This helps prevent that from happening.

    Sounds like what just happed to me. PTO runs, bucket lifts in the middle of running steering wheel just started spinning with no steering. Any other directions cheaper) to look first or is it most definitely the pump?

    When I'll get my own house and lawn I will turn my lawn into a mini forest but with only trees that survived from the Mesozoic period ( Monkey puzzle tree, Ginkgo, Dawn redwood, Wollemi pine), but I am planning on also lay bark and pine needle mulch instead of grass on it with tree ferns in the shade of the trees.

    So I’m doing a very similar thing but on a much smaller scale. I just mulched 4 acres of small pines, annoying privet, cedars and brush. It’s already growing grass on its own now that the sun can hit it but I have the issue with the roots/small stumps that make it hard to mow. I’m thinking about going in with a ripper to pull up the tree roots and to work the ground up and then working all of the mulch into the ground.

    It’s 8/9/23 I’ve been waiting 4 months for an intake manifold for my F250 the dealership called yesterday and said it “ should” be at their shop 8/18 but I’m not holding my breath. Like you I have a farm and i NEED my truck. I’ve spent well over $2000 renting trucks for farm chores. No one is going to convince me this whole thing isn’t by design!

    The tree stumps need removing totally.Cutting the trees with a chainsaw and leaving stumps is no good.Useless land and dangerous for animals who could injure themselves on the stumps.Pasture has to be clear of any dangers like tree stumps.
