- Just like in YR, in MO there are stolen tech units as well. The procedure is quite the same with a few exceptions. In order to unlock a Stolen Tech unit you have to infiltrate both the Con Yard and the "Battle Lab" of the same faction. Plus, there are infiltrators for each faction thus, all factions can acquire unique units so they are not exclusive to the allied players anymore.
A significant change is that the stolen unit depends both on your and your enemy's faction. That leads to a total of 16 different unique units which you can all see in the video.
Lastly, there is one extra stolen Tech unit which is only available if you infiltrate the Battle Lab of each faction and acquire each faction's barracks. The new unit that will appear, the Cyberg Commando, is quite a durable and powerful infantry unit capable of dealing massive damage to any type.
Each one of the older versions of MO used to have different Stolen Tech units.

Fun Fact when it comes to Tech Units:
Stolen Tech isn't exclusive to your chosen faction. When you infiltrate a base, you actually unlock all four of the units related to that faction. You just need the respected buildings and war factories to actually use them. This means you could theoredically have every single stolen tech unit outside of a Unholy/Ultimate Alliance match.
Example: If you infiltrate a Soviet Base as the Allies, you get the Lionheart. If you then steal that Conyard and build up your own Soviet base, you'll then have access to the Apocalypse. As such if you somehow manage to also capture an Epsilon and Fohen conyards, you'll have Wormqueens and Seitaads respectively. May be worth keeping in mind for all of those big 6-8p matches.

Finally, a trivia about most one of the most deadly Weapon when you manage to steal it!
If you notice those Stolen tech, they will use countermeasure tech, modified version, or tactic.
Quickshifter, Apocalypse Tank, Dybbuk Seizer, and Ramwagon: Exaggerated owned technology.
Lionheart: Electromagnetic pulse technology.
Chrono Prison: Reversal mind control, Scavenger and/or Mastermind's foil.
Alpha Future Tank: Last Bastion's Gharial combination attack, and collider weaponry. Despite this, it is created before Gharial, and despite it is driven by an AI, it is still suspected to Chrono Prison and the indirect confusion ray attack.
Grumble: Counter-Aerial...
Syckle: Scorpion Cell's rushing tactic.
Iron Dragon: Collider weaponry.
Scavenger: Reversal Infantry Fighting Vehicle's adaptation. Chrono Prison's foil.
Wormqueen: Psychc-enhanced tesla.
Salamander: Confusion ray weaponry.
Phantasm: Mirage Tank's camouflage tech.
Seitaad Balista: Electromagnetic pulse technology.

Some of these units have an in lore appearances:
Future Tank Alpha is actually a prototype of something, before that you have Future tank x-0.
Apocalypse Tank: probably the one which is most frequent in campaign, basically an expensive tank which was replaced with the Tesla tank for cost effectiveness.
The Iron Dragon is actually a prototype, shows up in one of the missions as an enemy unit.
Many of the standard Foehn units actually show up as prototypes in the campaign (with different weapons mostly).
@@dostayer3369 Lore wise, I tend to find the Chrono Prison the most interesting as it's left very ambiguous as to what happens to the vehicle crew when imprisoned. For all we know, the crew is sent to the backrooms (which knowing Mental Omega, is actually not too far fetched).
Quickshifter: improvement of Chrono tech which usually limited to Chrono Miners and Legionnaires
Lionheart: Kirov warhead + Chinese EMP put on an aircraft
Chrono Prison: Allies copying mind control technology by using Chrono tech
Future Tank Alpha: finalization of Future Tank which is PF invention

Apocalypse Tank: strongest Soviet tank finally advanced enough to be mass produced

Iron Dragon: basically weaponized Iron Curtain tech, which became the predecessor of Collider, stolen from Foehn since they're Yunru's invention

Dyubuk Seizer: just Epsilon remembering they could put mind controllers inside an aircraft
Salamander: Irritator tech stolen from Foehn
Phantasm: Foehns reusing Mirage Tank's tech
Seitaad: reusing Chinese EMP tech which was Yunru's invention to begin with
Archelon: stolen Chimera core tech, hard counter against Epsilon infantry rushes
Ramwagon: nothing stolen in particular, just advanced Foehn tech

you should have talked about grumble's very-long-range, as well as the fact that iron dragon casts an iron curtain on death.
An added detail is for wormqueen as it’s hard to show in force fire but it can chain its attack as long as it has some charge
You're getting better and better with your editing imo, it's smooth and the clips are the perfect length. I noticed at the beginning you even synced the appearance of stolen tech unit table with the 'drop' in the music, nice touch :D
In terms of cool factor, the Quickshifter and the Iron Dragon are my favourite of the Stolen Tech units. And the Salamander which breaks the AI like a twig (it helps that AI Foehn has no idea how to deal with spy units).
Grumbles are amazingly useful. Ridiculous Range more than balances its reload time imo. 12x of them around your 2x Iron Guards each and you have your Anti-Air Defense for your entire Large Base. Fun fact, Rocketeers are instant 1-Shot kills against Grumbles.
Also, Chitzkoi is Best Boi.
Normal dog can only kill infantry with flak armor ( excapt brute ) While terror drone can kill infantry with plate armor ( tesla, desolator, lancer ) but not a cyborg one ( volkov, cyborg vanguard ). But chitzkoi taking to another step by being the unit that can instant kill all infantry regarding of their hp or armor.
Chitzkoi is quite OP that he can kill anything besides airborne, naval (as long as not too close to land) defenses and structures. However, he can be insta killed by a Repair IFV/Drone when they repair an Chitzkoi-infected vehicle

For me against the AI, phantasm is often the jack-of-all-trades answer. Just add more phantasms if the problem is not solved. Put them at choke points, cliffs, sniper perches...

The MO story is not complete for now. Maybe in future the connection with Tiberium Universe will be released because story is now ending at 1985
@@Auderman Mental Omega isn't connected with the official Tiberium games but rather with Twisted Insurrection which, like MO, is an alternate timeline of Tiberian Sun if Nod hacks the Ion Cannon Network and destroys the White House.

Mental Omega is so much better than vanilla Red Alert 2, a lot of new units
So just take Cyborg commando from Tib sun, beef up its stats a bit since it doesn't have tiberium to regen off and give it a phatter aoe just to be safe

You also missed one detail about the Iron Dragon. If the Iron Dragon is destroyed, it can make nearby friendly vehicles invulnerable for a brief moment.
Another mistake is that when you are showcasing the Foehn units, you are showing the Epsilon units instead.

That is really cool! I only found out about mental omega this year. A lot of fun!
One of the many reasons why I wasn't a big fan of the expansion was that Soviets had a fairly reliable way of getting spies to use against an Allied player. Psi Commandos.
Then again the way point glitch allowed the Allies to infiltrate themselves so it isn't any better.
Apocalypse Tank being a stolen tech unit still burns me tbh but i can somewhat understand since it more or less got replaced by the wolfhound

Iron dragon will give short iron curtain effect on nearby vehicle when destroy. [And it can deal serious friendly fire damage so be caution]
Archelon is very durable unit and reduce damaged taken form cannons..... The most important is it is amphibious and it's immune to mind-control so it is a anti-epsilon faction units.

This is also very important since Epsilons have driller transports.
I recently figured out that if you have captured the base of another faction and you stole tech, you can use the faction specific stolen tech you captured the base of.

Some more informations about stolen tech:
-Quickshift cant eject passengers if it still teleporting and have to be oldest stolen tech that speeder ever made
-Corono prison in old version was use to be act like charon tank (2.0 and psi)
-Feature tank have another version too but only on crate and campaign
-Apocalypse tank CAN shoot while move also can get any buff from soviets and that why people mental omega like apocalypse tank because it can shoot while move
-Iron dragon in old version have been
used to be a country unit by north korea (2.0 psi)
-Scavenger in old version have been used by country scorpion cell and it dont shoot beam it shoot toxic cannon to enemy and when kill by this unit will get bountry enemy (2.0 psi)
-Salamander have bug too when sometime they will only shoot AU/AT and will most affect on campaign

The cyborg commando is not a new unit but is great to have it again ( it is imported from tiberian sun ), I played red alert 2 and Yuri's revenge long ago and i loved the game, it is great to know RTS games are not dead, the only small issue about Mental Omega is you must forget all you have learned and learn again because is to complex and different but even better, after all this years is time to play command and conquer again :)

Is there a way to fix the scroll lag? The game runs fine if I don’t do anything, but the FPS drops to 10 whenever I start scrolling or doing anything with my mouse
How did you get civilian foehn construction yard? I didnt find it in final alart (the map editor)...
Foehn buildings are spread. Some are in the soviet category and some in the other.

Can I ask something ? does infiltrating the Conyard is necessary ? because when I play skirmish I only infiltrate the battle labs, (1 barracks and 1 war factory ) and I still get stolen tech ?
Did you update to the latest version? Update to 3.3.4 right now. As of 3.3.2, you MUST infiltrate an Enemy Lab and their Construction Yard to get their corresponding Stolen Units.
Any particular reason why you blurred the archelon and the ramwagon's images ?
Quickshifter: main bug is still ignored by creators: you can "deploy" infantry out of it instantly after blinking instead of completing teleportation. In combination with waypointed spies it's just insane.

@@ishuikamakura272 Lionheart is a rough equivalent to Aurora (Generals) except it's slower and has some different abilities, Future Tank Alpha is as you said, Apocalypse is fairly Overlord tank inspired (Generals), Sickle doesn't have a direct equivalent but it looks and handles a lot like the Attack Cycle from Tiberian Sun (though it has a somewhat different attack and role), Scavenger has no direct equivalent but is very GLA-like (Generals), Wormqueen = very much Devil's Tongue but electrical (Tiberian Sun), and Cyborg Commando is... well, it's the exact same unit than in Tiberian Sun, but faster. Same unit quotes too.
