Gosh, you know how many videos I have watched on crazy legs (Just didn't get it) and this has to be the BEST tutorial because of camera angle shooting and explanation with baby steps. And to be able to do this backwards, wow I am always looking for backwards moves, seems like I am skating backwards more than forwards at the rink. Thank you for breaking Crazy Legs down and making it easier "TO GET"
Thank you. 💕💕 It’s one of those moves that looks super complex as it’s done at speed but it’s actually not too bad once it’s broken down. Let me know how you get on x
It can be done with toestops in but it’s actually harder to find the toe manual position and very easy to catch the toe stop. I have a toe stop verse toe plug video which may help you decide if you’re ready to take your toe stops out.
I very rarely rotate my wheels. I only tend to move them around if I see signs of wear. For example my outside wheels wear the front inner wheel on my right foot as I use it for stopping so I’ll move them around when I see wear.
Love your videos! Always looking forward to the new moves to try! I have a question I noticed your tongues are right up against your skin/shins and seem totally fine. I got a new pair of Riedell 120s and one of the tongues is actually cutting my shin even through jeans and a sock. Had any experience with this issue? It is kind of making me wish I went with the 297s for the cushy tongue.
My boots are very old and worn in so they’re like wearing slippers. I even skate without socks! 🧀 these are Risport. I’ve not had a lot experience of Reidell only had one pair. They were super soft is there a hard bit of leather in the tongue or anything rough that might be causing the issue. If they’re leather you can always file or cut away the offending piece. Getting a cobblers expert advise is often really helpful too
@@Skatie Thanks so much for the reply! I'm sure with time it'll soften up and in the meantime (and if anyone else has this issue) I found a great solution for now... I put a hair elastic behind the tongue from lace hook to lace hook and it holds it away from my shin 😊

Bravo 🎉 Love your teaching.. btw any recommendations on the wheels for roller dancing on the wooden floor, thanks
Thank you. ⭐️💕 I skate on really hard wheels for rhythm moves. These are 80D. Very hard.
Hi Skatie! What roller skates do you use?
Hi. These are a pretty vintage setup. Risport Cristallo on an atlas plate. They’re my old figure skates from years ago.
How often do you rotate your wheels on your skates? Thanks
I very rarely rotate my wheels. I only tend to move them around if I see signs of wear. For example my outside wheels wear the front inner wheel on my right foot as I use it for stopping so I’ll move them around when I see wear.
