Great idea. A small sacrifice of the TV not being able to control the backlight (shouldn't matter that much since the brightness/contrast is controlled by the panel). Some TVs will shut down if they detect a problem with the backlight so on these, will require some modification of the LCD driver to fool the control board into thinking the LCD is connected and working.
You skip the most important part I'm struggling with. To what do you connect the led strips to? I know the CCFLs are using 24V. Did you disconnect the CCFL cables from the inverter board? Did you connect the LED strips to the PSU?
i want to convert a phililips 37 inches to led tv how many led strips and how much led each has do you suggest to me ? i see from your video you dont have problrmds with bright spot can you tell me the link wich you buy the leds ?

Dear friend, I’ll tell you that you are on the right track, but it’s better to tightly attach the back of the slats to the backlight trough. Then the LEDs will not overheat and will last much longer.
Hi there! I came in here looking for the opposite: remove the LED from a monitor to make it an LCD. This is for a friend who gets migraines from anything with an LED.
It's depends where we want to use the led, in 32 inch lcd tv the brightness should be high and their is just 2 strip in it which will provide way less brightness as compare to 32 inch lcd display of factory made,due to less brightness the display would be in gry instead of black shade and picture quality will be less pleasure to eyes. Led provide high intensive light but in this screen we need more led strip for better visibility to work as similar to original factory made 32 inch led tv.
But, why? dont change lcd bulb bars.... lcd now this day are more efficient tvs than led way more better led tend to burn more quickly than lcd...me personaly i wont try this....i will do the repair on lcd buld bars than led

@@PavleKam ну тут дело случая, процент брака, нахождение в таких условиях где лампы подвержены перегреву, влажности и т.д. а на одной лампе в видео видно дико потемневшие участки, они скорее всего и отъехали, сам 32ю тошибу на лед переделывал, только взял стрипсы от лыжи 32 и инвертор с китая, и проработает долго, и чинить дешевле, а с учетом понижения тока так и чинить возможно не придется уже
You need to explain more as for as the wiring connections are concerned and if it is in series or parallel and please use English language. You are not very clear and you don't explain. Also you need to explain as to the led converter board. Sorry, but you are not a very good teacher and all you hear is the music. You're a waste of time. There are better people on you tube that explain better than you do

Organic LED display.There is no backlight in Oled tv.
Each pixel has the ability to control the light.

It is true that the three stick lights are the perfect for it.
Errm, its still LCD, that is the panel and new LED tv's are mostly LCD, you are converting it from CCFL to LED
