- It's time for Episode 5 of the brand new Did You Know? Series featuring 5 more things you might not know in WWE 2K23, including new features, secrets, easter eggs and hidden content!
Today's featured things include:
- The return of the "Not The Face" chant and new Superstars who can trigger the chant.
- Several new entrance motions for the Maximum Male Models manager Maxxine Dupree.
- Special "Eras Commentary" that sees includes unique commentary when playing as Hollywood Hulk Hogan against the classic Red and Yellow Hogan.
- Updates to the AI for tag teams and factions that see team members work together in multi-man matches such as the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber.
- New hidden Superstars that you can download, which include the ability to play as Michael Cole, the Moveset Man and Woman, and Ring Announcer Mike Rome.

Why jimmy uso wearing shirt if want ring match?
Did you know if you use the "Thunderous Boom" Intro and Stage motions together in an entrance, the crowd will say "Bay bay" where it was before Adam Cole was removed? I found this out when putting the two parts together for one of my CaW's entrances.
It was also the case in 2k22 so nothing new here
@@frankejk it didn’t have the crowd chants in 2K22 until WhatsTheStatus got it from the files and added it to the CAW for Adam Cole.

Hey man, love your content. Would you consider doing a breakdown of what the sliders do? Especially as there are lots of new ones and there are often conflicting opinions on what sliders actually do when you adjust them one way or the other. It's a bit annoying that 2K don't offer any help with this themselves.
I tried the sliders posted at Gamer Journalist and I'm having a blast, the gameplay is now a lot better than the vanilla gameplay.

In 2k24, they should add the ability in creations to assign chants to your CAW.
Wish they'd give us a hidden Batista with hair. It's been almost a decade since we've gotten 05-07 Batista.
I tested Factions working together in Royal Rumble. It has NOTHING to do with Superstars being in a Tag Team/Faction. What matters is if they're 'Allies'. You can make anyone be Allies and they'll work together.
Tried this and still no joy when using created superstars anyways 🙄
Does it work for universe mode or only play now

@DatsFyee It works for universe mode. Didn't find an option to set Allies in play mode, but works just fine in universe mode.
@@shadowcurse8824 100 percent works for universe mode, thanks for the idea. Now I have had a great rumble. Teams start together not fighting, teams work together to empty ring then team up on who comes in next and teams at the end suddenly turning on each other, been amazing fun 😀
They finally added the “Woo” chant for Charlotte anytime she does a chop.
The update to the rumble is so cool. And also quite funny, just watching them go around taunting
Did you know that new day has a special victory motion in wargames
I think John Cena has a special entrance for wargames as well

Yeah I noticed that WTF? They’ve added that since 2k22 and sometimes it happens with one shot while the match just started

Not sure about this but did you know that the commentary team will talk about your CAW differently depending on how you have their personality trait set up
This has actually been in every 2K game (from my experience), but it’s a cool detail nonetheless

did you know that the commentators can occasionally name drop daniel when brie bella performs her yes kicks (shoot kicks & roundhouse 1)

I also discovered recently that there are new entrance and victory animations for the likes of Lio Rush and Lince Dorado despite not being in the company anymore. Rush's motions go by the name of Hype Man and Dorado's go by the name of Golden 1.
Already in 2k22 😅

@@beeaveragegaming3482 the animations in 2K22 were the animations that were added in 2K19 when those Superstars were both in the game for the first time. The animations were updated for 2K23.
@@markjones9058 Again it's already in 2k22 it's not new I'm literally watching it as we speak in 2K22. NOT 2k23 though it could be there but if it's already in 2k22 then it's not new.

That rumble update for the factions is cool.
Don’t know if you already know or someone already mentioned but an interesting thing I found out was that when Roman is a babyface and raises his finger the crowd will raise their fingers along with him. Very minute detail but so cool!
I know Maxxine Dupree can manage for many wrestlers like Dio, Mansoor and Otis, but I'm starting to feel like in her future that she can ''possibly'' can wrestle for the first time like Lana, Zelina Vega and Scarlett too. If Maxxine can wrestle then, she'll join in for WWE Women's Divisions and if not, she'll have to wait for wrestle in her future for sure.
For the first time? Zelina and Scarlett already been a wrestlers before WWE, Zelina worked in TNA 2011.

I've noticed a "restart the match" chants too when getting a double count out. There are also new animations when you use specific weapons on someone in the corner
4:40 the factions working together In Royal Rumbles don’t work for me for some reason. It only works for the default tag teams and not the created teams
Myfaction is also not working for me
Same here, really annoying that created teams don't work together, that's part of the reason I got the game to start with as thought would make some amazing fun rumbles with teams 😢
@Vishal V Kumar my faction and online haven't worked for me from the start. Also showcase doesn't give u all the achievements so you can't 100% the game. The online feature being down for a week now if you pre ordered though is ridiculous and I really wish there was laws against what these companies are putting out. 126$ after tax and can't even play half the game

apparently rock 98 has an entrance that is selectable however the only thing missing of note is the entrance music while the motion tron and such stayed in i discovered this while doing advanced entrance creation in the legacy part of my rise
If I’m not mistaken, aside from Garza, Mella and MMM I believe the “not the face” chant has also been added for Humberto Carrillo and Tyler Breeze
There’s also a “go back to raw” chant in the next arena. Happened to me in universe when playing with Theory and Breakker mid match.
The Adam Cole entrance with the chants (BayBay) and the “Boom” is in the game

Your vids are great. Been a subscriber for ages, and hence I put this here.
I know we are focusing on the good, rightfully so, but Someone needs to mention the current problems with entrances and universe. Big problems making them unplayable virtually.
Not gonna rant on because generally this is an amazing game and I am loving it overall. Including your content.
I've been waiting so damn long for that faction update for matches like the rumble or chamber etc
One thing 2K needs to add to the areas w a big ramp if a secondary entrances for like wrestlemania & royal rumble so them areas could have the long ramp to make it more realistic

Is anyone else having trouble with managers not coming to the ring tittle motion not matching custom motion and the trio entrance because that my biggest concern rn please someone let me know🤷🏾♂️
I'm not sure this only applies to him, but Roman Reigns makes you wait longer for his entrance to start. This kinda reflects the actual shows, given the fact that Roman seemingly takes pleasure in making us wait
Love the content, do want to know if you are aware if a wrestler has two championships and use an entrance only wearing one the belt will start with one sat the (wwe title) halfway through the entrance will chanxe to the other (wwe universal title) I found this with a caw and using the fearless entrance
@SmackTalks a question I have for you even though you can have special entrances for different factions and tag teams how come some of them don’t even work in universe mode an example of this is with the 4 man bloodline entrance won’t work in universe mode but how come outside of universe mode it works just fine?

Did you know that in a ladder match you can add more than one ladder bridge at the same time,and once they break, you can pull them out again more than once

Did you know you can unlock jean-paul levesque, in the locks story line in my rise. All you have to do is complete the "The Monarchy" storyline, which is triggered by responding to a DM from Tavish after completing "Uncaged Indies this then allows you to play as JPL in exhibition matches
You also have to beat Jean Paul and British bulldog in a tag match with Tavish and the lock
Did you know that the medical room seen in the myrise (lock for sure, not sure about legacy) has boxes labelled 'dirty deeds'

I'm just asking cause he was talking about factions, is anyone else having a problem making trio entrances in wwe 2k23. It shows I can do together or separate, but no actual entrances are shown or an option to make one
I just tried to make a faction but I don't see the trio entrance type either. Only the option to come out separate or together for trio.
The not the face chants also happen for Breeze
Did you know that if you export a MyRise character, they will retain their commentary during their entrance. (Like refer to the Male MyRise as the “Former Lock”)
Did you know that Shotzi has an alternative entrance motion in a War Games match which isn't available anywhere else (i think it appears while doing a elimination chamber too)
Don’t know if this counts, but I noticed that creative entrance there was no option to save it to universe mode so you have to make the entrance in universe mode itself
And yes, CAW character I was using wires and universe mode and on the active roster
Like I said, don’t know if discounts but that’s why I noticed

Did you know that there is special commentary during doink the clowns entrance if you use a wrestlemania stage where they talk about the second doink at wrestlemania 9, but it's very brief
They also have special commentary at mania for Rey and Dominick and also John vs hogan
Did you know In NXT stand and deliver arena if you go up and walk off the stage you can get to a crowd fighting area with fans standing in it!
Did you know in the arena 2k motion capture if you use objetcs, that objects have mokap capture like the outfits
Does anyone know how to change who the third party is in rivalry actions?
Did You Know that there is unique dialog from the commentators if you make MA.CE bleed in a match.
Did you know if you pick Baylee 2 temp in entranced you get her old theme song which is not available if you just go to music selection
I got one things you might not know damage controls trio entrance is actually MMM entrance with Maxine Dupree check it out, go onto universe mode set all of them to come out together and you’ll see

Did you know that Doink the Clown has access to a secret mannequin arm weapon?
As Doink, the first time you go under the ring in a match, he'll pull out a mannequin arm which shares animations with the bat and hockey stick.

Did you know that the lock's myrise story's "Apex Tournament" does include a small detail that has the same scoring system as NJPW's G1 Climax tournament?
Did you if you are doing a rivalry Match in universe mode and switch one of the superstars attire to alt attire that superstar will appear invisible in the cut scene

As soon as a good Billy Gunn and Chuck Palumbo hits the community creation Their getting the Maxim Models intro.
Did you know there is an Easter egg for mikey whipwreck, in the creation suite, go in to the tops tab in attire, scroll down near the bottom and you will see his t shirt, alongside a pc trainer or trainees top.
You will also see an Easter egg for broken matt Hardy as you can also see his vest that he wore.

Did you know if you play a WCW World Heavyweight Championship match in MyGM under the WCW brand, there's special commentary.
Anyone else dealing with the trophy bug on ps5? Did the win 10 live events from myFaction and even tho it’s listed as complete in myFaction, the trophy didn’t pop. Same thing with legendary unfair war games advantage one.
