It's my favourite time of the year, the start of a brand new series of Did You Know! 😀
The first few episodes may have a few things that crossover with previous videos, as in hindsight I probably should have started the series earlier, but i've tried to mix in new and extra details rather than just repeat something i've covered in a previous video. I hope you enjoy it!

They add the guitar when Elias isn't with WWE anymore 😭
Edit: to all these oldheads that are coming in here saying I don't know my history and whatever I only mentioned this because this is the game that takes place RIGHT after elias' release and they now decided to add the guitar, I wasn't aware that Honky tonk man was DLC when I made the comment. Not to mention I had no reason to mention either HTM or Double J since they haven't been in the games for ages

With the introduction of the microphone, and even giving you special taunts and mic feedback, I'm surprised that they didn't put in an I Quit match. I mean why not, right?
Next year. They added in Ambulance, Casket and Special Guest Ref

Cause they'll never have voice over in an I quit match. It would take forever to get everyone in to record those two words

Bit of a DYK, the 1997 Halloween Havoc arena now has Slim Jim logos after only having the WCW workaround logos from 2K22 and 23.
I had a feeling that would happen
in a nice touch, it's the 90s era Slim Jim logo used in that arena like in real life.
Not just that, but it's the old Slim Jim logo, just like the original arena. Nice little attention to detail thing.
Did you know, unlocking Seth Rollins ‘15, Shawn Michaels ‘94, and both John Cena ‘20 (SNME) and Bray Wyatt ‘20 (SNME), the game will assign them to their respective teams (Shawn teams with Diesel to form Dudes With Attitude, which includes a new tag team entrance with a ladder at the top of the stage. Bray and John form a never seen before team, calling themselves the ‘weapons of mass destruction’, which includes unique commentary. And Rollins joins HHH and Stephanie as the Authority, which even though they enter separately when playing as them, there is The Authority ‘King Of Kings’ theme, and GFX in the game, which is already equipped when enabling the default tag team entrance of ‘painful literature 1’)
Based on the UUDD live stream, Shawn Michaels' WrestleMania 25 entrance doesn't work in certain venues, primarily stadiums where you get the legendary entrance. Anywhere else, it's the basic entrance of HBK but the extended theme is still attached.
It works in WM36 too

I guess it boils down to the stage setup
Someone is going to make a 'Timeless' Toni Storm CAW and then someone is going to have to "Watch for the Shoe."

The freeze paybacks are so good but also hilarious 😂 . I love the facial expressions 'taunts and being able knock the hell out of your opponent with them. Awesome video "SmackTalks. Two bangers in one day. 🎉
did you know that you can go backstage in the few No-DQ matches in the Showcase mode?
I've only tried during the Steve Austin vs Bret Hart match at WM 13 and Steve Austin Vs Kevin Owens at WM 38.
I found a few neat things backstage during the KO match.
You can find Austin's ATV that he rode down to the ring before the match, and if you venture further down you can find an oddly placed announce table and some steel steps outside of the trash heap kind of ring thing.
i also found that you cant interact with the ATV, announce table or the steps, as i tried to remove the cover from the announce table and the prompt simply would not appear.
also, upon returning to the normal ring, the ATV will be parked in the entranceway.
i am not sure if this is a glitch that only i encountered, or if others have as well, but i thought it was worth mentioning here

Another thing I thought you might like to include in your next did you know video, with Cody’s theme now being in the jukebox you can now finally edit Cody’s entrance and victory without getting the popup saying the song is exclusive and can’t be edited. The song officially stays there. I tagged you on my video of it on X

They should have done a easter egg akin to the "TOASTY!!!" sound effect from Dan Forden but it's Randy Savage saying "Ooh yeahhh! Snap into a slim jim!" XD
Did you know,after you break the announce table,your able to pick up and attack your opponent with the water bottles that fall from them? It even has animation for the taunt where the toss then catch it. Also different sounds when hitting someone with it,throwing or dropping it.
Really enjoying the game, more than 2k23. Played around with the gauntlet match, few others. Played showcase up to The Rock v Austin, having so much fun lol.. had to give my ps5 a break. Looking forward to the content for 2k24. Love these types of videos you do 👍🏻

a small detail i noticed in the video.
the microphone weapon is a completely different microphone then the ones they use now.
The weapon uses the old scratch logo microphone the one used from the Attitude Era all the way up to the PG era.
but newer modern microphones appears in the game for promos and R Truth's entrance.

Thats generous of 2k to make figure John Cena available for everyone in this game when it was my faction only for 2k23 by those who actually bought the figure irl
That's nothing new you can play as certain wrestlers in "action figure's" since 2K19 their just milking cena for every dime they can get!
@nepaliprayasgurung2594 strange how I didn't see any in 2k19, also didn't say it's new but that they could've easily made John Cena figure exclusive to 2k23 but decided also for this year
@@David-nq8cv I thought WWE 2k19 had action figure mode. But sadly I was wrong they did this last year. With Cena too, all I know is 2K is milking Cena for money.
And John Cena is letting them do it I mean he gets paid by movie industry and video game so he's probably enjoying earning all that money!

Did you know, you can now edit the hight of wall, and mini trons in Create An Arena. And, there is a new ‘ringside layout’ option which allows you to edit the barricade to be more square if you are making an arena without an announcer’s table/s

It’s interesting that the microphone has the ruthless aggression style logo. Possible reused asset from a previous game?
HBK double title entrance works if you use like Kenny Omega or Samoa Joe with a custom AEW World Title & WWE or Roman with the AEW belt

I've noticed a small detail when playing the wrestlemania x showcase, I don't know if it is the same outside of showcase.
But if Diesel pulls out a chair, it's a different colour the normal chair.
Did You Know 2 actually: Theres Special Commentary if you Cody vs Dusty, and in the Halloween Havoc Arena that was added back in 2k22 now features the Slim Jim Logo as opposed to the Generic WCW Logo
Did you know that Triple H's "King of King's" theme song is in the game, it's on create an entrance under The Authority with matching Authority trons

I love the additions of the new weapons but I really hope 2K has finally made the championship belt at ringside and able to pick it up and use it without having to do a Break Out and drop it on the floor during entrance.

Did you know that Shawn Michaels has special casket match commentary (I found this upon winning), and John Cena has special guest referee commentary (I found during his entrance as the special guest referee)

In the winning scene with Shawn the ladder is suddenly … grey again, not red. Great attention to details
I Got Sheamus 09’ in my faction.. and he is also playable outside of my faction.. with his Old theme song.. Thats cool

Did you know when you hit pause in universe mode and have a rivalry set up it will show you rivalry actions
There's a reference to Max dupri if you play as Maxine durpri as they ask what happened to her brother "he must have faded into the night"

If they came out with a wwe game that had a roster of only elite action figures, I’d buy it. I can see it now, someone gets put in an armlock and their arm pops off. It would probably be just as fun as a regular wwe 2k game but with an added element of humor.
Did you know stacks vs Tony rivals commentary also there's a reference to lita and kanes disturbing storyline u know also Dominic as nxt champion and wes Lee in my rise
Sucks they took away some taunts from being able to be selected for taunts and theyre now exclusive to freeze but it is a cool feature.... Wonder how Harleys taunt that had a move works now though? unless thats still in taunt i havent checked but i know its under freeze.
You can take off the turnbuckle cover from the apron using the same controls as you would in the ring
Did you know if you have the 40 years of wrestlemania edition, in showcase all you have to do is finish the match without doing any objectives and you can get the arena
Is there a way to make it possible to use the managers/standard referees as special guest referees in universe mode? Tried to use Teddy Long in universe mode as a referee and it wouldn't allow me to do it

Little DYK. I figured out that the corner Glasgow send-off (Glasgow send-off 1) which is joe coffey's signature has 2 different types, one if the opponent is near the corner and if it connects they hit the corner while if they are in the middle or nowhere near it it does a regular Glasgow send-off

I really wish they would've done more with the microphone taunts. It would've been really cool to get an LA Knight "YEAH" with it or an "Acknowledge Me" from Roman Reigns. If they can add voices in some taunts, this would've been really cool.

I noticed, and please correct me if I'm wrong with this, but I noticed that in a chamber match. If you whip an opponent into the pod it leaves their body condensation on the glass
Did you know that the pin Animation of the ref seems to be nearly the same Animation that we saw in wwe2k14? In the last games, the ref always were on his knees instead of pinning with his body close to the ground.
The super charger unlocks alternate attires & legends who are apart of the WrestleMania showcase
Did you know, in a special guest ref title match, if the superstar who is ref has an ally who loses in the match, the special guest ref will throw the title to his ally’s opponent upon their victory
My guess is I quit match included next year
