If it is good enough for JVR it is good enough for my boat, at least that is the motto me and my brother go by. JVR has his custom color chaos medussas at the shows that are always a must grab. Guy knows his stuff and has proven it on over 100 unique bodies of water.
Might be a god angler but do not question anything he says or he will blow up on you! He is really hot headed and condescending if you don't agree with his opinion. Lots of other guides that know their stuff. Seems like every guy in northern Wisconsin forgoes education and becomes a fishing expert. Want some real information and a nice presentation, go to Tom Boley's channel. That dude is cool, nice and knowledgeable!!
Cbjs and fb's arent getting getting much love were i fish toppers and a globes have been giving me the most looks. Had a triple on a fb at the end of july though.
What water temp do you feel fish move back shallow? I was just fishing a reservoir in October and water temps were 56.. and it seemed fish were still deep. Or had they been shallow in September and went back?
Gents, I am new to muskie fishing and trying to figure out my home lake, lake redstone in lavalle, wi. Question, I'm guessing you "transition" advice would just be a bit delayed for me being in central/ lower Wisconsin, is that right? For example, today our water temps were still 80!
Great vid! No 10 min intro and no unnecessary off topic blatherings. 7 min vid with 7 mins of straight info. 👍
Sorry we've been away from TH-cam for a bit. Thanks for the compliment. We really appreciate you watching our videos. Good Luck fishing.
Going into Minnesota in September and have all the baits you mentioned, thanks for confidence love the suicks
+Frank Muzquiz,Sr. Thank you for watching.
What do you think about Northern IL - would these be more like October baits? Water temps are in the low 70's.
+GregK9 I would say many of these would still apply. I’d lean heavier on bucktails and topwater in the low 70’s. Good luck this fall

Yes it's usually based on water temps but with the cool down we are seeing now I'd be you won't be far behind. Good luck fishing
NICE - THANKS
+OTSN - News Thanks for watching Dan
Are these baits good for October as well?
+Rob Simpson in October I typically use Suicks and Rubber baits the most. I’m hopeful we will shoot a video for October baits as well
Great! Looking forward to it. 🎣
Where can a guy get one of those shirts?!
+Allan Gould we will have them on the website soon. Hopefully this week.
Just got into musky fishing, and losing expensive baits to a snag just kills the mood 😫
It certainly does stink. I'd look at getting a lure retriever. If you save a couple baits it pays for itself. Good Luck fishing
Team Rhino Outdoors Thanks for the tip! Do you have any recommendations?
