Exactly how i felt when i almost passed out watching this to see I am 30 mins in and only at 9 warframes out of 52 Outside of that this video was very informative and gave me new perspectives on some frames so overall a winner of a video permitting i can stay conscious
I would definitely put Citrine in A+ or S. She may not be preferred over wisp but the ability to increase the endurance and survivability of all other members in the team in end game content and even long form content is insane. Her 4th ability is definitely the best subsume slot. I use roar, but pillage works too. I’ll have to test it out at some point. The other 3 synergize greatly. 1st ability allows for immediate health and energy Econ and can make arcane blessing/health conversion go from 0 to full stack in seconds + equilibrium mod increases the possibility of it dropping to damn near 100%. 2nd ability allows survivability, you could get slapped by level 150 enemies (or higher) and shrug it off. 3rd ability is great for splash procs while increasing status chance and duration. It also does a decent amount of damage for what it does. It also has a really weird way for “range”. Enemies don’t have to be inside the crystal radius to proc the status splash, all you have to do is be within the crystal radius and shoot at something (or use your 1 for crowds) and it’ll proc. I haven’t really tested it but it’s what I’ve observed in missions. I use her for all content and haven’t gone back since. I may be giving Citrine too much praise, but a decent amount of people are sleeping on a great warframe at its content level. (Apologies for being a nerd)
You should add a disclaimer for khora somewhere stating that after around 2hrs of mashing her whip key you'll get cramps in your hands essentially nerfing her cause you can't use it as much.
This is why I play WF with a macro. My keyboard software has it built in so for melee I just have it set that I hold G4 and that acts as if I'm repeatedly pressing E.

Regarding Nezha, most people just don't know how to use his passive. First tap on Ctrl turns the frame into the direction your mouse points and gives it a small nudge into that direction, second tap catapults you forwards. This works best in large open rooms, where you can zigzag across the room like crazy. The sliding happens in a fully upright position.
As an Oberon main, I can agree that bigger numbers would make him better, but also shifting his weird mechanics to just sit on their abilities. Let renewal automatically give the extra armor (I hate having to cast hallowed ground around the map so I can give allies their extra buff) and let Reckoning strip armor without the use of the grass. Hollowed ground is actually pretty great for crows control, the constant radiation procs make him like a discount nyx
He is really great against eximus groups, especially toxic. He is the only support frame that can battle them for a long time. Which is what a warden class should do as a expert role, and why DE had him drop from those units. The key thing, is that his effectiveness requires correct placing and usage of all of his abilities to that, with new player limitations. I cannot help but notice that Trinity, Citrine and Wisp fail against multiple eximus units attacking them in back to back situations with the exact same set up as a new player in Normal Circuit. For me, Oberon slays in that fight.
Kyaii, I really see you as one of the few Warframe creators that I can say is a true “realist” especially when you said that statement one time where you said most creators make videos on builds that are level cap yet literally most of the player base won’t ever get there. I enjoy your videos and practically most of my builds is directly from your videos, I took your builds from mr12 all the way up to mr18 in like a month 😂and still going strong! Keep it up and maybe next time add some nice quiet background music because I’ll be honest, I do yawn occasionally cause of the silence in the background haha, I also think it’ll make your videos a lot more better! I think if you put Wukong in S-tier solely because of spy missions (which I can understand), you cannot have Vauban in C-tier. Vauban's level of CC is so oppressively strong that it makes Interception, Defense, Mobile Defense, etc. painfully boring for your teammates.
Garuda for sure has it all. She is completely unkillable, has bonkers damage with slash proccs on everything, probably the best melee weapon in the game (outside of stuff like Vastilok) and does not need anything or anyone to infinitely sustain energy coupled with great helminth synergies and playstyles outside of the usual gloom cheesing.
Pretty good tier list although I disagree with some placements but ultimately I can understand why you put each frame at their respective tier I always love how you don't just say "this thing is good/bad because" you actually explain why you think a certain frame is good or bad overall good video please keep up the good work crazy to think you had 2k when I started watching your content
On the topic of loki and radial disarm, I've found a single use case and build surrounding it, that preforms quite well. Mind you its alot of set up, but a fun way to mess around as loki. Using his augment irradiating disarm, plus breach surge from wisp, and using unairu or gunblade for armor strip, you go invis use disarm, breach surge and place your decoy, the enemies will walk towards the decoy and hit each other proccing breach surge, making them kill themselves.
Breif respite, power drift, narrow minded, Niras hatred, prime flow, prime continuity, Overextended, umbral intensity and vitality, irradiating disarm. Using arcane energize and molt efficiency but can switch them. 2 casting speed and duration shards also nice.
@@kyaii Thanks, I did a bit more messing around with the build, proboscis cernos or tenet ferrox, help with grouping alot better, making the ai more likely to actually hit each other, and cause more breach surge wisps.
@@noahedenborg4221 its just ment to grab the agro for a quick second in order to direct, the enemies towards each other. Since disarm locks them into melee, it last long enough, to do so.
Poor Limbo 😅😂 He is such an amazing frame underrated because of his past of " trolling frame ". He have almost everything, infinite energy naturaly, amazing survability with his passive that make him unkillable if you time it correctly and even more with rolling guard. Can do infinite damage with the combo of Breach Surge and Rift torrent, is the best defense warframe with his four and can add cataclysmic continuum to have it forever, and his two is literaly The World from JoJo, you stop time while still being able to touch them with melee, being amazing with weapon like the glaive prime. The only bad thing I would give to him is that he take forever to cast an ability, but with natural talent and orange shard with casting speed you can easily have 200% casting speed and just be naruto of destruction. I kinda search for which frame to play in the game, the last one who really made me love the gameplay was Khora with Lycath's Hunt, but the moment I played Limbo I understood how much powerfull he was. I didn't want in the first place to do a comment this long but I felt like I needed to defend a little this frame who's only hated because of the trolls 😂
Have you seen Novaumbral's video on limbo? Changed my perspective on him totally with his his mechanics work exactly. But i still use him just to brake crates lol.

What they should do to make ashes shuriken better is to make it if you hold down the button he jumps and throws a barrage of shuriken (8-9) for a 37 energy cost and leave his tap ability to where you throw only a few shuriken but also slightly increase the amount he throws on the tap ability say he throws abt 3 I think that would be a fair amount for the tap button

I love equinox, the idea of separate modding of its forms would be huge. It could work just like Sevagoth, that'd be awesome. Also, a hybrid build I like is: peaceful provocation+enough strength to get the slow near 80% taking into account the 60% str from a certain arcane, and as much range as you can grab. If you subsume over 2 with nourish or an armor strip or breach surge it is awesome. sub-level 50 you can just turn on 3 and maim to give your whole party ~70% str while killing the map with slash, over level 100 you can get a discount gloom with enemy damage reduction+overshield per kill whenever you feel like throwing mend on. This size of a paragraph is why equinox is too convoluted for many people.
Equinox is a lady but otherwise you're spot on; she has fun abilities, you can swap with Metamorphosis for built-in buffs and she can knock out enemies to just one-shot everything

Yareli unironically is one of the most overpowered frames atm. the only problem are tight tilesets, where you cant maneuver with merulina. But on any tileset with high ceilings she is absolutely overpowered. She cant die with a built in spammable rolling guard, CCs with a 7x-8x dmg multi AND has 200%crit+firerate+reload on all secondaries at all times. She is really absurd tbh. I did multiple level cap SP circuit runs with her, people are always amazed in that game mode how hard she wrecks. Her biggest problem right now, is not having a skin. They need to fix that.

And then that'll just turn into a spiral of hate on her when they've never played her more than once. Any secondaries you could recommend for Yareli? I've gotten the Laetum but it's best to build that for no crits, and ofc I need 2 more Incarnons to complete the final challenge.
@@unlimitedpower4783 Any of the incarnons def work very well. Her 1 makes it actually easy to line up headshots to charge up. For the Laetum I would switch over to a crit build without devouring attrition perk to leverage her passive. The Lex Prime always red crits with Yareli in Incarnon form, it's busted. Very very good for general clearing and comfort are the Tenet Cycron, Sporelacer Kitgun (extremely powerful), Gaze Kitgun, Tenet Diplos and honorable mention to the Ocucor with it's new augment from the nightwave. Anything high crit becomes a monster in her hands, really.
I'm wondering what a slightly updated list would look like, with the existence of Kullervo and Dagath, the 4 newest warframe augments, the Hydroid rework, etc all happening within the past couple of months.

I agree that proteas 4th is her best helminth slot but I don't understand why people say its absolute dogshit, I find that it helps a lot in her energy economy, any amount of energy that exceeds the cost of the ability is free, and if you somehow manage to die while it is active then you get a small animation that returns you to your state before casted, like a shield gate but for your health. I could see how its outshined by her other amazing abilities, but I feel like if it were on a bunch of other frames it would be a great ability
Yeah, agreed. Protea's 4th is good for energy economy and survivability, but meh for damage unless you build super hard into it. Not dogshit, not amazing unless you focus building entirely around it
the issue isn't that its useless, its that dispensary is already infinite energy, and her 1 is infinite shield gating so you dont need energy regen or survivability from the 4th
Seems alot of people didn't understand that it's about the power of the frame, not the fun or preference of the frame, although of course even the creator has his bias. When you go farming survival on Steel path, you take a Khora to kill, the Nekros is just there to stack. Same with everything. I also much prefer Nekros, specially the tank build with the reaper (custom plains heavy sword that looks like a scythe) and just use the spin to win stance. That's how I like to play. But Khora can just press 1 on her cage and nuke a entire room for massive loot for her teamates... it's just the spamming 1 without a macro sucks ass. Same with Octavia, best frame in the whole game.... that you don't play. Octavia isn't to be played, it's to spam her abilities every 50 seconds and stay invisible and that's it. Same with Inaros for example. What is Inaros? nothing... it's just a bunch of armour and health. You never use his abilities unless you miss press or think you are cool for pressing 1. It's not that Inaros isn't strong, because it is the easiest immortal tank to play, and there should be easy frames to play that should be strong... but Inaros presses 4 when he remembers and that's it Unfortunately Rhino suffers from time. Roar is however a great support ability
A good Nova helminth is Eclipse. Its final multiplier affects Antimatter Drop damage. Nyx’s Psychic Bolts also shut off Infested Ancient Auras and some Eximus abilities. Her Absorb movement augment with Parkour Velocity archon shards will let her zoom around with rolls. Then Bolts just to defense strip the biggest things around.
actually her bolts are a bit weird they can shut those off but they can only do that armor strip or shield strip its very werid also yeah of course eclipse effects it since you are shooting it with your weapons
@@noahedenborg4221 Bolts will completely armor strip and shield strip (“defense strip” vs something like Terrify). That’s just 1 of 3 options they have and it won’t always be the first one. Antimatter Drop has a fixed cap of absorbed damage that Eclipse can’t modify. However- Antimatter Drop has its final explosion damage affected by the Eclipse multiplier. Most abilities don’t get affected like that.
oof, man don't like shield mummy, honestly i love hildryns i think she is A to A+ first her passive, it's better then i initially gave it credit for, not to mention her passive is shared to team mated through haven while over shields are active, you and your team mates are just immune to status effects, this means toxic does basically nothing to your health so you don't have that problem other high shield frames have, and everyone gets a 3 second invulnerability timer after shield break, if this just worked on hildryns it would be, eh, fine, the 3 second invulnerability is not needed on her but the stat resistance is so good in the right setup (some negative strength) + voracious metastasis, you can essentially buff everyone's shield gating ability/ make it easier for them etc, and give them tons of energy, voracious metastasis is god tier on hildryn because she drains 10X shields form ability casts, which means metastasis gives 10X more energy to team mates, you can give them more energy then they know what to do with, making her a god tier support frame balefire yeah it's kind of just here but it's not a bad ability with the right mod setup pillage, well obviously this is got tier, pillage + adaptation + the shield regen arcane means you can just kind of, tank pretty much anything you want, i normally use chromas elemental ward set to electricity to give even more shields (which can also buff allied shields as well) works well in a high strength build, elemental ward means your allies can grab the buff and then run around, or you can purposely just, run past your allies when you recast elemental ward to refresh their shield multiplier haven, heh yeah its mainly just here to give your allies a ton of shields, but again, haven shared hildryns passive, meaning they have stat resistance when over shields are active and a 3 second shield gate and the augment is nice for more shields, especially when fighting against the infested, not really sure how helpful the shield regen rate is but, it is kind of needed when you are buffing their shields to high numbers and aegis, well, yeah this is normally what i helminth over, but fun fact, any damage resistance while airborne mod works while using aegis, so, this is weird but you replace pillage for something like gloom potentially (i need to test this) possible active gloom, activate aegis, and haven, then use the mod that lets you regen shields form changed balefire, in a high efficiency build, the 2 arcane that regen shields when damaged and you basically have this, giant flying 6k max damage resistance beast that cant be killed while buffing your team mates, and shooting you from the sky, its probably not the best build for hildryn but, it sure is funny i think why i love hildryns so much is that, their is allot of things you can do with her, and she quite literally, does things that other characters simply can not do to the same extent, she may not do everything amazingly, but she has a bit of everything, she has damage, she has infinite energy essentially, she has a massive amount of shields, she has support aspects, she gives status resistance, she uses some very good helminth abilities better then anyone else in the game because of her 10X (energy cost/ shield drain), she strips armor and shields, their are allot of really good reasons to play hildryn.
I think a reasonable argument could be made that frames with overwhelmingly dominant helminth choices could be also placed in an alternate s-tier: Hyldrin, Grendel, Nekros, etc
@@PagePH so inaros has really only 2 abilities. 1 is a decent CC, the 4th is a hybrid of CC, Healing, and Survivability. This game is a looter a majority of the time, so Hydroid being able to loot instantly makes him better than inaros. As well as having an on demand rolling guard and 3 different ways to make them immune to dmg, all the while being able to produce more loot for the squad you cant say inaros is better that Hydroid other than personal preference. Which is fine, but just saying my side of the isle when it comes to the two.
i saw the vid last night (not live) and i agree with you in all except volt who should be S tier for the solely reason your criteria was that "a worframe to be S tier...they need to make playing other warframes a bad idea...a bad idea for that mission or multiple missions" and that is exaclty what he does for eidolon hunt. the only thing better than a volt on an eidolon hunt, is 2 volts doing an eidolon hunt, and even better than 2, is 3 volts lol (+ a support frame like trinity or wisp). other than that, perfect list 👍if you hadnt said that i personally would haved put volt as a A+ too. i think he's a fantastic warframe but speed isnt enough for me
Nezha not being A+ is crazy. You're underplaying the Hell out of his 2. It does so so much and the fact he has such easy access to fire, a 50% armor strip, and can make the enemy vulnerable on top of that. Not to mention he is stupid hard to kill. Idk. He's just too good and to me and is probably the second best tank. He's so easy and free to play and can do anything and everything effortlessly.

2:01:03 I got Yareli recently and I agree with this; everyone was trying to tell me she's Hydroid tier; but I was pleasantly surprised after expecting her to suck. Like it's kinda Jank and buggy for sure to use a Kdrive in closed spaces, but she doesn't really feel useless. Solid CC (her 1 can only float 5 enemies at a time but it's cheap and easily spammable so it doesn't matter), respectable damage (aquablades don't hit hard but the forced Slash procs build up and anything dies after a bit of you just driving around), and you are never really in danger of dying cuz your board just takes dmg for you with like 16k hp (and if it does die you can just resummon for minimal cost and 4 sec invulnerability). The only ability I dislike is the 4, it feels like it's just her 1 but worse cuz it does the same thing of locking enemies down and giving damage vulnerability, but with a shit raduos and costing way too much energy, as a grouping it sucks too. She's best off with Xata's or some other Gun damage buff instead of it. I ended up liking her a lot because, whilst a little jank, the way she plays is just vastly different from other frames so it's fun and unique. Both in weapon choices and movement.

Honestly, Loki is an absolute A+ tier. He's a ghost, so build him like one. Perma-invisibilty, subsume his Decoy for silence and use Safeguard switch for invincibility. Throw in Savage Silence for that finisher damage boost and build him for duration. It's absolutely insane when played right! One of my favorite frames, alongside Aurabot Equinox with Gloom and Wisp + nourish.
Exactly. Hildryn in c is crazy, nova in A is also crazy lol. I mean, you can easily kill in mass aoe with blazing pillage lvl 100+enemies and one cast armor strip. All helminth ablities become essentially zero cost Metastasis helminth essentially gives your team infinite energy at any distance Roar is amazing, scales your blazing pillage to 180+ and is super cheap to cast and keep up Elemental ward increases your nuke ability on trash mobs even further. Heat procs provide constant cc Overshields to ur team and ur self makes you really hard to kill Can remove status affects to u and ur team at zero cost whenever 3s shield gate The list goes on. B tier I can understand but c tier is crazy
Very good tier list. You covered all the different types of missions and picked the best frame for each. I was a little sad about the wukong comments but I am just biased over wukong. Otherwise great job !!
Loki is my only go to warframe for Spy missions. Invisibility and teleport that helps me bypass laser barriers really helps speed up (and reduce stress) about getting caches.
I haven't played Warframe in a while so I say this aware of the fact that I might be missing something. With that said when you said frames good at one thing would be lower. Yet so many frames you praised specifically mentioned steel path as if that is the only game style. The same was done in the past with speed frames, DR frames, nuke frames etc. Now you aren't the only person who does this but I'm curious as to why.
Eximus enemies don't really do much to limbo though, yes they can move in stasis, but their attacks cant hurt you unless its an eximus aura attack, in which case the only one thats really going to give you any trouble are the electric ones and even then they are not that bad to avoid. Limbo will never be meta but he is very useable in most content in the game, even if he is better for higher density missions, if there is going to be less enemies then just run the minimum duration limbo since he can get his shit done fast. He is not too good of a frame but c? Def not. I'd say he's more like a b if you can get him down. Also he kind of bypasses the helminths 1 damage ability limit thing with his augment, its not a good build but its funny.
Agreed with most of it, still think volt should be on S though. Not really a lot of reasons use anything besides him on eidolons and PT (if you already have a lot of credits)
He's also one of the best defence frames for the first half our of sp or so. Volt is just general amazing and his sheild is amazing for survivability witch seems to often go unnoticed.
I think the main argument for volt being A instead of S is that he doesn't have a single build for all of the amazing shit he does, if that makes sense. Like you want a minimum of 3 saved configs for him as his eidolon, CC Support, Speedrun, and Melee/gun platform setups all look totally different. I don't care whether volt is A or S o be clear, but that's often what I'm told on that topic and I honestly agree. S tier should be reserved for frames that do volt-level shit with less effort. Not because less effort is good for the game, it's not, but just to emphasize that that's what TRULY sets some of these insane frames apart from the rest of the really good options, which is what I consider volt to be.
@@jamesn0va it's not unnoticed to anyone. It's just that spamming his 4 takes longer on the animation so traditional shield gating is unironically easier than relying on capacitance. That's not to say he doesn't have a manageable energy econ, he does, but unless capacitance is doing something other shielding options can't, people see no reason to emphasize it is all. It's good but not unique which can largely describe volt in general. Really good but not the best at anything. Which makes an A tier placement fair to me personally At high enough levels, all that overshield gets popped just as easily quickly as a base shield anyway. So it's just using his most expensive ability for a shield gate with a casting animation that necessitates, amber shards or natural talent, as opposed to those things just being luxuries like in some of the more busted frames (like mag, with a good zoning player)
I have to disagree with your Trinity placement bro. I urge you to try the Marked for Death EV nuke Trinity and revisit your placement of her. She is an unkillable tank that can 1 shot lv 9999 WHILE providing unlimited energy to your squad. She’s A for me
Xaku is definitely S tier for me moreso for end game. Full ez armor strip, infinite uptime from his 4, and floaty guns that let you go make a grilled cheese during defense missions and just refreshing one skill every 45 seconds. I dig nourish over Xatas whisper though for lazy mode lol
A wukong done right is hard to compete with his damage, I run eclipse with total eclipse augment and it makes the clone crazy OP. As far as boring? That depends on how you play him, I reposition constantly and mainly rely on gunplay and use his dash to keep his hp up and keep me hyper mobile, I'm dashing to the ceiling to wall latch for better positioning before I nuke a cluster of mobs, dashing ahead to nuke down groups, or when I feel like going melee no other melee can compete against him because hes just to fast to get to the next group and with a properly modded hate incarnon you just obliterate anything in under a second.
If they did what you said for chroma's first ability they make it so that if you're waring the "armor" it does a AOE breathing fire on the go, and without his armor it embew's his melee or primairy or both i'm not an expert but that seems interresting
as someone that mains chroma i would love to see his 1 get a faster attack tick rate at the very least, 1 status proc per second is so slow when my gun can put 100 procs of anything in 2 seconds, i would also love to see the 2 and 3 get consolidated and be called like elemental storm and have a aoe radius centered on chroma that does status damage depending on the color then give him a armor strip to fill in the gap like the kavat's ability to rend armor, im fine with vex armor acting like serration since it goes good with bane mods but i want it to be at full strength the moment of cast instead of having to take damage to raise it to its full strength (fun tip you can still melee attack while using his breath attack so it can help proc CO and as his 4 i always subsume it out except for my profit taker build for gloom)
I'm just going to state this because it's a pet peeve of mine. EXIMUS DON'T RUIN LIMBO, they can move in stasis and they can cast abilities if they have over guard, but silence fixes that and their bullets still get stuck in stasis. Saying limbo gets ruined by eximus is just a myth at this point.
everyone says Ivara's slow in stealth- seriously use Ability Strength and her aug and she moves faster stealthed than uncloaked plus she runs through lasers and other stuff. Every single non-Ivara player loves to overlook this aspect
I’m bias but I feel like protea deserves S because she is by far the most versatile frame in the game. That fourth ability slot can be ANYTHING, roar, eclipse, gloom, terrify, larva, ensnare, xatas, they’re all work great on protea and you can pick which ever you want depending on how you want your protea to play
remember you only get one of those any time not replace her kit with all of them. By this logic, every frame even Yareli who I love but the community loathes; can take any of those same options too. What we need is a tier list that ignores Helminth and our host here has managed to get the closest to that I've seen
As a hildryn main I am hella pissed at that C tier. xD Gloom Hildryn my beloved. Unkillable at even two hours survival SP (which yeah doesn't say much but who cares beyond even an hour of SP besides 1% of people), good CC, fun passive, 100% armor strip, easy way to remove nullifier shields with the 1st's augment. C tier just seems so out of place. I am not saying she is S, or A+, but for me she's A at least.
Happy with your views except for the Equinox one. I think you tried but failed to hide your bias mate. Harrow should have been in the same tier as Equinox if you followed your reasoning for placing Equinox in A (i.e., that conceptually, she doesn't make sense but is good...)

Limbo only needs 2 fixes. The first is the ability to allow allies to enter the rift at their own convenience and the other ways is to stop forcing his abilities to stop working. i.e in isolation vaults he can't enter the rift at all which completely breaks his kit, this might be a bug but there are other less extreme cases where mechanics like this are intentional. 1:06:28 if you have no way of dealing with them except for shooting them then why not shoot them? Over Guard doesn't have anything it's strong against and it has no form of damage mitigation other then being a big wad of extra health which doesn't work well for inaros and eximus are no different and the guns can't hurt you because stasis stops the bullets, the only thing you have to worry about is the eximus abilities which can be avoided by being careful. This comment isn't to hate on your opinion of him but to act as propaganda to let people know that he isn't as bad as people think he is and can be very strong, but I think he's actually more or less in the same boat as harrow where he wants to be the doing all the work in a team because he can easily keep everyone alive and if everyone kills everything in his vicinity he doesn't have enough enemies to work efficiently in longer survivals. That's my long rant, sue me
Yeah, having at least 1 use is kinda the bare minimum though. And in these cases, Loki's toolkit is crept so hard that there are multiple preferable options against him in any mission type. And I mean any mission type. At that point you have to give him at best a middling placement I think Loki should be C but no higher than that. There's still good survivability and CC in his kit but... There are drastically better versions of both, I miss maining him. Loki is my most used frame btw, I still use him with conductor for memes sometimes.
the only one i strongly disagree with is khora over saryn, she trivializes everything and I usually end up with like 60% of the damage dealt in a full squad if no one else is using her, khora is good but saryn is godlike overall good tier list
Nahnah, you‘re sleeping on Ember just like most of the community. With certain helminths like 5 or so, she is an absolute monster, immolation = DR, armor strip for fire blast, fire blast = knockdowns and strips armor obviously (very great range), absolutely AMAZING for shield gating and also synergizes very well with Gloom making the knockback last decades, Inferno = exothermic giving ember infinite energy most of the time, setting enemies on fire to have her passive at 100% more ability strength 90% of the time in survival SP missions, inferno is also great to use as a mini armor strip, since it obviously proccs heat. Inferno is a mini saryn while the rest of her kit has a use if pairing inferno up with heat inherant primers and armor stripping allowing you to press 4 to win in SP easily. Ember possesses every necessary thing needed for a A or higher tier frame and if you can‘t agree you never looked into ember much. She has Armor stripping, great AoE, amazing CC, (with Gloom slow and life steal), combining Helminths like Gauss‘s, Gloom, Pillage, Terrify, Defy the list goes on. Makes Ember amazing, now if this tier list doesn‘t include Helminth I can see her being B tier, but if it does include Helminth synergies shes at LEAST mid A tier, also putting citrine in A tier but Ember in B tier is quite a bad take. Citrine is Ember but worse, as Citrine can‘t armor strip, is less than half as fun to play and hinders crit chance builds on weapons or melees, Citrine is only good when combined with specific weapons that have high CD but low CC so the bonus at least benefits them.
Also if Citrines specific builds were counted into being higher, so should Embers helminth synergies. As i have mentioned Citrine sucks without a specific primary/secondary/melee.
Hmm. No, I do not have many complaints with this one. I have logged over 4000 combat hours and earned well over 3 or 4 times that in platinum so I have field tested everything shown here. The problem with the few S tier frames is that a frame should not be so well made and synergize with its skills that it makes other frames, albeit subjectively, a worse choice. The investment needed to bring other, lower tier frames into a functional state somewhere close to that S level is what I see as the main hindrance. I was never able to embrace, " I main X " where X is the frame the player enjoys most. I always saw my arsenal as a cutlery drawer; I use the tool designed to complete the task. However, there are clear frames for " The New Kid " , clear frames for " The Sweaty Steel Kids " and only a handful that have full skill synergy. I see that as a design issue, not a player's personal skill issue. I wish Oberon could do more with a single build without heavy investment into one skill. I also wish Inaros' skills had functionality in the current combat. I wish Trinity was used and less bothersome to play, as she was a meta healer at one time. 60% of my arsenal is a Map of the Lost and that is depressing. Congratulations are in order for your partnership; I knew you would do well. Keep testing and experimenting with your builds and you will be on top. We need more combat advisors that can be objective instead of simply in it for the click bait.
Ash is also super good for disruption because his armor strip is super fast for armor stripping the disruption target without using any armor stripping weapons but that’s all I think he’s good for other than disruption he’s just meh
I've been playing him more recently, ever since his 4 is a pseudo exalt and the synnergy with jat kittag augment that allows him to nuke rooms with no prep time or r5 arcanes he is really fun
What makes larva better than ensnare sometimes is for electric focused weapons. Cause it makes all the limbs fumbling around get hit at the same time so u hit a ton of procs at once and way more damage other ppl explain it better
Hardcore downplayed Trinity she can have some insane crit setups and isn't made irrelevant by wisp because she can give a team survivability and energy sustain two things wisp just doesn't do

Thank you for not being like everyone else saying that Ash is a amazing, perfect warframe that has no issues. This is an opinion some ppl won`t like but I'll say it anyway. Ash needs a revisit and it doesn't matter what anyone else says, stats and ppl`s actions proves he needs one. I say Ash needs a revisit and ppl say "he`s perfect" and get upset with me but he`s not, Ash has issues most ppl don`t know about. The reason being because; · People use two of his augments and helminth 24/7 to the point where they completely ignore the issues of the abilities and act like they are ok. · The way people use him and talk about him ("oh he can use seeking shuriken to strip armour and can kill lvl 100+ with bs) they can`t see his issues in a general sense. Look at it this way you have Ash - warframe and you have Ryu - ninja gaiden, if you put Ash in ninja gaiden he would be great probably be even better than Ryu on the other hand if you put Ryu in warframe he will have trouble in that setting. I was playing Ash and their is something I realised... Ash can`t deal with hordes of enemies efficiently that`s why most ppl won`t play him. The most effective (fun) way to play him is to play stealthy, he can actually be fun if you play him this way. but wf is a for the most part a horde game and Ash just can`t deal with them so this and other issues with him he needs a revisit. I was going to say that Wukong isn't S tier but then I realized that I haven't used any frame other than him for spy and rescue. The only difference is that I use the auto hack helminth on his 4.
Wukong is outclassed by Titania. Who cares if you trigger every alarm, there's a timer before you get any consequences and you're the fastest frame in the game.
In my opinion protea goes into s tier with her new augment for her 4th. I put nourish on her 1 and a build with high ability strength. If you learn how to sickle all 4 abilities correct she becomes and absolute beast of a frame. Even better with something like larva on her one but i havent fed nidus to my wall yet.

Banshee is op use her 1st ability argument slap breach, surge on for her 4 use use rolling guard and you got yourself a frame that average million+ damage on any gun with A OK built

Bro, how on earth is Baruuk in the same teir with equniox. You need to bend over backwards to make equniox work, Baruuk just works. You cannot run equniox without helminth. Barruk is better with helminth but doesn't need it to work.
I'd argue that Caliban is S tier. Using him with nourish and stripping rooms and insta killing everything on the entire floor with the Sobek and its special mod. Very strong with infinite scaling.
So I have been keeping my mouth shut about a combo for survival because 1. I'm a noob and don't know 90% of what I should know about this game 2. Because I'm afraid that if I say anything it will get get hit with the nerf hammer. I bet veteran players will just have a "no duh you stupid noob" reaction but I found that Citrine and Octavia have something so close to playing afk because Octavia has a wide area of effect that also happens to proc Citrines 3 and it makes an impassable wall of doom that killed 99.9% of things instantly. Granted you have to cast fractured blast every so often to get Octavia some more energy but on the starchart so far we haven't seen anything so overwhelmingly powerful (except maybe mag 😅).
Sentient wrath would be better instead with these changes. Dont have enemies stop being lifted after 1 shot. Fix lifted to be just on the X axis instead of the Y so enemies font float away. Make the waves have Syam level climbing. Enemy cap doesn't matter much when your strength is high for his 4th.
I have protea with Kora's ensnare, and I have stupid fun summoning my arch gun the mausolon fully modded, because she's the only frame who can reload it with dispensary.
I like your channel youre quickly becoming my favorite warframe yotuber. BUT your placement of hydroid on the list is just wrong. Why? He should be S tier because hes so useless he makes every frame look better in comparison. Thats a passive buff to each frames playtime and enjoyability which cant be ignored

I don't like shield gating, so I just put umbra vit and armor on Khora + that arcane that gives max health up to 50 stacks, and honestly, even if it's a bad build, I have cero issues on steel path and enjoy it a lot. Yareli is someone I want to try too, but I'm building an Equinox just because she looks so damn badass.
In all fairness, you can use any half assed build in low steel path farming and be fine, especially with a frame that’s got such wide range like Khora. It only really matters in high steelpath or longer farming runs where the levels really start to get high.
Equinox is a lovely lass though her base is such a chore to farm and looks so fugly yet her Prime is gorgeous. I do love her loadout and her aesthetic and mine as a Sleepquinox is always starting in Night Form so happy days ;p
People who don't like shield gating usually mean they can't do it properly so they don't like it. And yeah, all that health and are is good for base steel path, but if you're using Khora, you're probably farming, and after an hour or so of farming, that Health and armor will do nothing for you. Fortunately for you, Equinox is one of the best Nuke frames in the game, if you build her right, they'll never hit you anyway so your strategy will work just fine lol.
Equinox is supposed to be one or the other. If you can have both than she would be less consisten with her t theme. The irony is funny. She's still fun though.
The fact that Citrine has been out for as long as she has and still isn't regarded as S is insane to me, as far as strictly supporting allies goes the ONLY thing wisp does better is the speed buff. Citrine has the ability to give nearly infinite health and energy off her 1, her 2 is a DR that works on shields notably because lets be honest most frames aren't going to get anything of real value from the HP/s that either citrine or wisp give in the shield gate meta, however even there citrine outscales wisp's res with 250eHP/s vs 180 assuming you get up to 600% PS on wisp which isn't even that realistic to strive for. Another note on Citrine is that she does more support than just the utility/defensive tools I mentioned, she can prime enemies with 8 unique status' solo not accounting for anything from weapons or companions(1 gives Impact/Slash, 3 gives all 4 base elementals, 4 helminth nourish(viral) over her base 4 as its too slow to be really useful, and use Archon Continuity on her for the corrosive procs off the 3 toxin proc)
For anyone looking to test this: Aura-Combat Discipline/Brief Respite(only use CD if you are the only one in group or it doesn't work) Exilus-PSF -Adapt/Rolling guard(pref based) -Blind Rage -Augur Reach -Archon Continuity -Equilibrium -Archon Stretch(can use regular stretch but other than the capacity cost its strictly better) -Umbral Intensify(Archon Intensify doesn't work off your passive regen for the bonus 30%) -Flex slot(Until you get 2x tau blues on I recommend Streamline as your entire rotation at 45% eff is 310 and you only reach that much energy with 2x tau blues in on Emax)(could make a case for pflow as well if you wanted to replace the 2x blues) Archon Shards 2x cast speed, 1 duration, 2 emax(if running flow replace emax with either strength or duration) Arcanes -if running CD Arcane avenger is almost mandatory -personally I like molt augmented but you can flex other arcanes in place of either of these.
Good info on some stuff but just like almost every tier list people talk more about helminth than the frames full kit and what they can do in missions. Its more of a how good this ability is on another frames list

I would definitely put Citrine in A+ or S. She may not be preferred over wisp but the ability to increase the endurance and survivability of all other members in the team in end game content and even long form content is insane. Her 4th ability is definitely the best subsume slot. I use roar, but pillage works too. I’ll have to test it out at some point. The other 3 synergize greatly. 1st ability allows for immediate health and energy Econ and can make arcane blessing/health conversion go from 0 to full stack in seconds + equilibrium mod increases the possibility of it dropping to damn near 100%. 2nd ability allows survivability, you could get slapped by level 150 enemies (or higher) and shrug it off. 3rd ability is great for splash procs while increasing status chance and duration. It also does a decent amount of damage for what it does. It also has a really weird way for “range”. Enemies don’t have to be inside the crystal radius to proc the status splash, all you have to do is be within the crystal radius and shoot at something (or use your 1 for crowds) and it’ll proc. I haven’t really tested it but it’s what I’ve observed in missions.
I use her for all content and haven’t gone back since. I may be giving Citrine too much praise, but a decent amount of people are sleeping on a great warframe at its content level. (Apologies for being a nerd)

You should add a disclaimer for khora somewhere stating that after around 2hrs of mashing her whip key you'll get cramps in your hands essentially nerfing her cause you can't use it as much.
This is why I play WF with a macro. My keyboard software has it built in so for melee I just have it set that I hold G4 and that acts as if I'm repeatedly pressing E.

Regarding Nezha, most people just don't know how to use his passive. First tap on Ctrl turns the frame into the direction your mouse points and gives it a small nudge into that direction, second tap catapults you forwards. This works best in large open rooms, where you can zigzag across the room like crazy. The sliding happens in a fully upright position.
Sounds good if you're on pc. On console that sound like a pain

As an Oberon main, I can agree that bigger numbers would make him better, but also shifting his weird mechanics to just sit on their abilities. Let renewal automatically give the extra armor (I hate having to cast hallowed ground around the map so I can give allies their extra buff) and let Reckoning strip armor without the use of the grass. Hollowed ground is actually pretty great for crows control, the constant radiation procs make him like a discount nyx
He is really great against eximus groups, especially toxic. He is the only support frame that can battle them for a long time. Which is what a warden class should do as a expert role, and why DE had him drop from those units.
The key thing, is that his effectiveness requires correct placing and usage of all of his abilities to that, with new player limitations.
I cannot help but notice that Trinity, Citrine and Wisp fail against multiple eximus units attacking them in back to back situations with the exact same set up as a new player in Normal Circuit.
For me, Oberon slays in that fight.
Kyaii, I really see you as one of the few Warframe creators that I can say is a true “realist” especially when you said that statement one time where you said most creators make videos on builds that are level cap yet literally most of the player base won’t ever get there. I enjoy your videos and practically most of my builds is directly from your videos, I took your builds from mr12 all the way up to mr18 in like a month 😂and still going strong! I think if you put Wukong in S-tier solely because of spy missions (which I can understand), you cannot have Vauban in C-tier.
Vauban's level of CC is so oppressively strong that it makes Interception, Defense, Mobile Defense, etc. painfully boring for your teammates.

Garuda for sure has it all. She is completely unkillable, has bonkers damage with slash proccs on everything, probably the best melee weapon in the game (outside of stuff like Vastilok) and does not need anything or anyone to infinitely sustain energy coupled with great helminth synergies and playstyles outside of the usual gloom cheesing.

On the topic of loki and radial disarm, I've found a single use case and build surrounding it, that preforms quite well. Mind you its alot of set up, but a fun way to mess around as loki. Using his augment irradiating disarm, plus breach surge from wisp, and using unairu or gunblade for armor strip, you go invis use disarm, breach surge and place your decoy, the enemies will walk towards the decoy and hit each other proccing breach surge, making them kill themselves.
Breif respite, power drift, narrow minded, Niras hatred, prime flow, prime continuity, Overextended, umbral intensity and vitality, irradiating disarm. Using arcane energize and molt efficiency but can switch them. 2 casting speed and duration shards also nice.

@@kyaii Thanks, I did a bit more messing around with the build, proboscis cernos or tenet ferrox, help with grouping alot better, making the ai more likely to actually hit each other, and cause more breach surge wisps.

Poor Limbo 😅😂 He is such an amazing frame underrated because of his past of " trolling frame ". He have almost everything, infinite energy naturaly, amazing survability with his passive that make him unkillable if you time it correctly and even more with rolling guard. Can do infinite damage with the combo of Breach Surge and Rift torrent, is the best defense warframe with his four and can add cataclysmic continuum to have it forever, and his two is literaly The World from JoJo, you stop time while still being able to touch them with melee, being amazing with weapon like the glaive prime. The only bad thing I would give to him is that he take forever to cast an ability, but with natural talent and orange shard with casting speed you can easily have 200% casting speed and just be naruto of destruction. I kinda search for which frame to play in the game, the last one who really made me love the gameplay was Khora with Lycath's Hunt, but the moment I played Limbo I understood how much powerfull he was. I didn't want in the first place to do a comment this long but I felt like I needed to defend a little this frame who's only hated because of the trolls 😂
Have you seen Novaumbral's video on limbo? Changed my perspective on him totally with his his mechanics work exactly. But i still use him just to brake crates lol.

What they should do to make ashes shuriken better is to make it if you hold down the button he jumps and throws a barrage of shuriken (8-9) for a 37 energy cost and leave his tap ability to where you throw only a few shuriken but also slightly increase the amount he throws on the tap ability say he throws abt 3 I think that would be a fair amount for the tap button

I love equinox, the idea of separate modding of its forms would be huge. It could work just like Sevagoth, that'd be awesome. Also, a hybrid build I like is: peaceful provocation+enough strength to get the slow near 80% taking into account the 60% str from a certain arcane, and as much range as you can grab. If you subsume over 2 with nourish or an armor strip or breach surge it is awesome. sub-level 50 you can just turn on 3 and maim to give your whole party ~70% str while killing the map with slash, over level 100 you can get a discount gloom with enemy damage reduction+overshield per kill whenever you feel like throwing mend on. This size of a paragraph is why equinox is too convoluted for many people.
Equinox is a lady but otherwise you're spot on; she has fun abilities, you can swap with Metamorphosis for built-in buffs and she can knock out enemies to just one-shot everything

Yareli unironically is one of the most overpowered frames atm. the only problem are tight tilesets, where you cant maneuver with merulina.
But on any tileset with high ceilings she is absolutely overpowered. She cant die with a built in spammable rolling guard, CCs with a 7x-8x dmg multi AND has 200%crit+firerate+reload on all secondaries at all times. She is really absurd tbh. I did multiple level cap SP circuit runs with her, people are always amazed in that game mode how hard she wrecks.
Her biggest problem right now, is not having a skin. They need to fix that.

And then that'll just turn into a spiral of hate on her when they've never played her more than once. Any secondaries you could recommend for Yareli? I've gotten the Laetum but it's best to build that for no crits, and ofc I need 2 more Incarnons to complete the final challenge.
@@unlimitedpower4783 Any of the incarnons def work very well. Her 1 makes it actually easy to line up headshots to charge up. For the Laetum I would switch over to a crit build without devouring attrition perk to leverage her passive. The Lex Prime always red crits with Yareli in Incarnon form, it's busted.

I agree that proteas 4th is her best helminth slot but I don't understand why people say its absolute dogshit, I find that it helps a lot in her energy economy, any amount of energy that exceeds the cost of the ability is free, and if you somehow manage to die while it is active then you get a small animation that returns you to your state before casted, like a shield gate but for your health. I could see how its outshined by her other amazing abilities, but I feel like if it were on a bunch of other frames it would be a great ability
Yeah, agreed. Protea's 4th is good for energy economy and survivability, but meh for damage unless you build super hard into it. Not dogshit, not amazing unless you focus building entirely around it
the issue isn't that its useless, its that dispensary is already infinite energy, and her 1 is infinite shield gating so you dont need energy regen or survivability from the 4th
Seems alot of people didn't understand that it's about the power of the frame, not the fun or preference of the frame, although of course even the creator has his bias.
When you go farming survival on Steel path, you take a Khora to kill, the Nekros is just there to stack. Same with everything. I also much prefer Nekros, specially the tank build with the reaper (custom plains heavy sword that looks like a scythe) and just use the spin to win stance. That's how I like to play.
But Khora can just press 1 on her cage and nuke a entire room for massive loot for her teamates... it's just the spamming 1 without a macro sucks ass.
Same with Octavia, best frame in the whole game.... that you don't play. Octavia isn't to be played, it's to spam her abilities every 50 seconds and stay invisible and that's it.
Same with Inaros for example. What is Inaros? nothing... it's just a bunch of armour and health. You never use his abilities unless you miss press or think you are cool for pressing 1. It's not that Inaros isn't strong, because it is the easiest immortal tank to play, and there should be easy frames to play that should be strong... but Inaros presses 4 when he remembers and that's it
Unfortunately Rhino suffers from time. Roar is however a great support ability
A good Nova helminth is Eclipse. Its final multiplier affects Antimatter Drop damage.
Nyx’s Psychic Bolts also shut off Infested Ancient Auras and some Eximus abilities. Her Absorb movement augment with Parkour Velocity archon shards will let her zoom around with rolls. Then Bolts just to defense strip the biggest things around.
actually her bolts are a bit weird they can shut those off but they can only do that armor strip or shield strip its very werid

@@noahedenborg4221 Bolts will completely armor strip and shield strip (“defense strip” vs something like Terrify). That’s just 1 of 3 options they have and it won’t always be the first one.
Antimatter Drop has a fixed cap of absorbed damage that Eclipse can’t modify. However- Antimatter Drop has its final explosion damage affected by the Eclipse multiplier. Most abilities don’t get affected like that.

first her passive, it's better then i initially gave it credit for, not to mention her passive is shared to team mated through haven
while over shields are active, you and your team mates are just immune to status effects, this means toxic does basically nothing to your health so you don't have that problem other high shield frames have, and everyone gets a 3 second invulnerability timer after shield break, if this just worked on hildryns it would be, eh, fine, the 3 second invulnerability is not needed on her but the stat resistance is so good
in the right setup (some negative strength) + voracious metastasis, you can essentially buff everyone's shield gating ability/ make it easier for them etc, and give them tons of energy, voracious metastasis is god tier on hildryn because she drains 10X shields form ability casts, which means metastasis gives 10X more energy to team mates, you can give them more energy then they know what to do with, making her a god tier support frame
balefire yeah it's kind of just here but it's not a bad ability with the right mod setup
pillage, well obviously this is got tier, pillage + adaptation + the shield regen arcane means you can just kind of, tank pretty much anything you want, i normally use chromas elemental ward set to electricity to give even more shields (which can also buff allied shields as well) works well in a high strength build, elemental ward means your allies can grab the buff and then run around, or you can purposely just, run past your allies when you recast elemental ward to refresh their shield multiplier
haven, heh yeah its mainly just here to give your allies a ton of shields, but again, haven shared hildryns passive, meaning they have stat resistance when over shields are active and a 3 second shield gate and the augment is nice for more shields, especially when fighting against the infested, not really sure how helpful the shield regen rate is but, it is kind of needed when you are buffing their shields to high numbers
and aegis, well, yeah this is normally what i helminth over, but fun fact, any damage resistance while airborne mod works while using aegis, so, this is weird but you replace pillage for something like gloom potentially (i need to test this) possible active gloom, activate aegis, and haven, then use the mod that lets you regen shields form changed balefire, in a high efficiency build, the 2 arcane that regen shields when damaged and you basically have this, giant flying 6k max damage resistance beast that cant be killed while buffing your team mates, and shooting you from the sky, its probably not the best build for hildryn but, it sure is funny
i think why i love hildryns so much is that, their is allot of things you can do with her, and she quite literally, does things that other characters simply can not do to the same extent, she may not do everything amazingly, but she has a bit of everything, she has damage, she has infinite energy essentially, she has a massive amount of shields, she has support aspects, she gives status resistance, she uses some very good helminth abilities better then anyone else in the game because of her 10X (energy cost/ shield drain), she strips armor and shields, their are allot of really good reasons to play hildryn.

I think a reasonable argument could be made that frames with overwhelmingly dominant helminth choices could be also placed in an alternate s-tier: Hyldrin, Grendel, Nekros, etc

@@PagePH so inaros has really only 2 abilities. 1 is a decent CC, the 4th is a hybrid of CC, Healing, and Survivability. This game is a looter a majority of the time, so Hydroid being able to loot instantly makes him better than inaros. As well as having an on demand rolling guard and 3 different ways to make them immune to dmg, all the while being able to produce more loot for the squad you cant say inaros is better that Hydroid other than personal preference. Which is fine, but just saying my side of the isle when it comes to the two.
i saw the vid last night (not live) and i agree with you in all except volt who should be S tier for the solely reason your criteria was that "a worframe to be S tier...they need to make playing other warframes a bad idea...a bad idea for that mission or multiple missions" and that is exaclty what he does for eidolon hunt. the only thing better than a volt on an eidolon hunt, is 2 volts doing an eidolon hunt, and even better than 2, is 3 volts lol (+ a support frame like trinity or wisp). other than that, perfect list 👍if you hadnt said that i personally would haved put volt as a A+ too. i think he's a fantastic warframe but speed isnt enough for me
Nezha not being A+ is crazy. You're underplaying the Hell out of his 2. It does so so much and the fact he has such easy access to fire, a 50% armor strip, and can make the enemy vulnerable on top of that. Not to mention he is stupid hard to kill. Idk. He's just too good and to me and is probably the second best tank. He's so easy and free to play and can do anything and everything effortlessly.

2:01:03 I got Yareli recently and I agree with this; everyone was trying to tell me she's Hydroid tier; but I was pleasantly surprised after expecting her to suck. Like it's kinda Jank and buggy for sure to use a Kdrive in closed spaces, but she doesn't really feel useless. Solid CC (her 1 can only float 5 enemies at a time but it's cheap and easily spammable so it doesn't matter), respectable damage (aquablades don't hit hard but the forced Slash procs build up and anything dies after a bit of you just driving around), and you are never really in danger of dying cuz your board just takes dmg for you with like 16k hp (and if it does die you can just resummon for minimal cost and 4 sec invulnerability). The only ability I dislike is the 4, it feels like it's just her 1 but worse cuz it does the same thing of locking enemies down and giving damage vulnerability, but with a shit raduos and costing way too much energy, as a grouping it sucks too. She's best off with Xata's or some other Gun damage buff instead of it.
I ended up liking her a lot because, whilst a little jank, the way she plays is just vastly different from other frames so it's fun and unique. Both in weapon choices and movement.

Honestly, Loki is an absolute A+ tier. He's a ghost, so build him like one.
Perma-invisibilty, subsume his Decoy for silence and use Safeguard switch for invincibility.
Throw in Savage Silence for that finisher damage boost and build him for duration. It's absolutely insane when played right!

I mean, you can easily kill in mass aoe with blazing pillage lvl 100+enemies and one cast armor strip.
All helminth ablities become essentially zero cost
Metastasis helminth essentially gives your team infinite energy at any distance
Roar is amazing, scales your blazing pillage to 180+ and is super cheap to cast and keep up
Elemental ward increases your nuke ability on trash mobs even further.
Heat procs provide constant cc
Overshields to ur team and ur self makes you really hard to kill
Can remove status affects to u and ur team at zero cost whenever
3s shield gate

Loki is my only go to warframe for Spy missions. Invisibility and teleport that helps me bypass laser barriers really helps speed up (and reduce stress) about getting caches.

I haven't played Warframe in a while so I say this aware of the fact that I might be missing something.
With that said when you said frames good at one thing would be lower. Yet so many frames you praised specifically mentioned steel path as if that is the only game style.
The same was done in the past with speed frames, DR frames, nuke frames etc.
Now you aren't the only person who does this but I'm curious as to why.
Steel Path refers to everything as a game mode.

Eximus enemies don't really do much to limbo though, yes they can move in stasis, but their attacks cant hurt you unless its an eximus aura attack, in which case the only one thats really going to give you any trouble are the electric ones and even then they are not that bad to avoid. Limbo will never be meta but he is very useable in most content in the game, even if he is better for higher density missions, if there is going to be less enemies then just run the minimum duration limbo since he can get his shit done fast. He is not too good of a frame but c? Def not. I'd say he's more like a b if you can get him down.
Also he kind of bypasses the helminths 1 damage ability limit thing with his augment, its not a good build but its funny.
Yeah toxic and electric eximus aura can hit you but not there bullets plus you can just put silence on and boom they can't touch this
Agreed with most of it, still think volt should be on S though. Not really a lot of reasons use anything besides him on eidolons and PT (if you already have a lot of credits)
He's also one of the best defence frames for the first half our of sp or so. Volt is just general amazing and his sheild is amazing for survivability witch seems to often go unnoticed.
Yea, Volt is def one of the most well designed "niche" frames.
I think the main argument for volt being A instead of S is that he doesn't have a single build for all of the amazing shit he does, if that makes sense. Like you want a minimum of 3 saved configs for him as his eidolon, CC Support, Speedrun, and Melee/gun platform setups all look totally different.
I don't care whether volt is A or S o be clear, but that's often what I'm told on that topic and I honestly agree. S tier should be reserved for frames that do volt-level shit with less effort. Not because less effort is good for the game, it's not, but just to emphasize that that's what TRULY sets some of these insane frames apart from the rest of the really good options, which is what I consider volt to be.

That's not to say he doesn't have a manageable energy econ, he does, but unless capacitance is doing something other shielding options can't, people see no reason to emphasize it is all. It's good but not unique which can largely describe volt in general. Really good but not the best at anything. Which makes an A tier placement fair to me personally
At high enough levels, all that overshield gets popped just as easily quickly as a base shield anyway. So it's just using his most expensive ability for a shield gate with a casting animation that necessitates, amber shards or natural talent, as opposed to those things just being luxuries like in some of the more busted frames (like mag, with a good zoning player)

Xaku is definitely S tier for me moreso for end game. Full ez armor strip, infinite uptime from his 4, and floaty guns that let you go make a grilled cheese during defense missions and just refreshing one skill every 45 seconds. I dig nourish over Xatas whisper though for lazy mode lol

A wukong done right is hard to compete with his damage, I run eclipse with total eclipse augment and it makes the clone crazy OP. As far as boring? That depends on how you play him, I reposition constantly and mainly rely on gunplay and use his dash to keep his hp up and keep me hyper mobile, I'm dashing to the ceiling to wall latch for better positioning before I nuke a cluster of mobs, dashing ahead to nuke down groups, or when I feel like going melee no other melee can compete against him because hes just to fast to get to the next group and with a properly modded hate incarnon you just obliterate anything in under a second.
Honestly I love using his staff even though I know ppl hemlith it I like his kit as a whole
If they did what you said for chroma's first ability they make it so that if you're waring the "armor" it does a AOE breathing fire on the go, and without his armor it embew's his melee or primairy or both i'm not an expert but that seems interresting
as someone that mains chroma i would love to see his 1 get a faster attack tick rate at the very least, 1 status proc per second is so slow when my gun can put 100 procs of anything in 2 seconds, i would also love to see the 2 and 3 get consolidated and be called like elemental storm and have a aoe radius centered on chroma that does status damage depending on the color then give him a armor strip to fill in the gap like the kavat's ability to rend armor, im fine with vex armor acting like serration since it goes good with bane mods but i want it to be at full strength the moment of cast instead of having to take damage to raise it to its full strength (fun tip you can still melee attack while using his breath attack so it can help proc CO and as his 4 i always subsume it out except for my profit taker build for gloom)
I'm just going to state this because it's a pet peeve of mine. EXIMUS DON'T RUIN LIMBO, they can move in stasis and they can cast abilities if they have over guard, but silence fixes that and their bullets still get stuck in stasis. Saying limbo gets ruined by eximus is just a myth at this point.

everyone says Ivara's slow in stealth- seriously use Ability Strength and her aug and she moves faster stealthed than uncloaked plus she runs through lasers and other stuff. Every single non-Ivara player loves to overlook this aspect
I’m bias but I feel like protea deserves S because she is by far the most versatile frame in the game. That fourth ability slot can be ANYTHING, roar, eclipse, gloom, terrify, larva, ensnare, xatas, they’re all work great on protea and you can pick which ever you want depending on how you want your protea to play
remember you only get one of those any time not replace her kit with all of them. By this logic, every frame even Yareli who I love but the community loathes; can take any of those same options too. What we need is a tier list that ignores Helminth and our host here has managed to get the closest to that I've seen

Gloom Hildryn my beloved. Unkillable at even two hours survival SP (which yeah doesn't say much but who cares beyond even an hour of SP besides 1% of people), good CC, fun passive, 100% armor strip, easy way to remove nullifier shields with the 1st's augment. C tier just seems so out of place. I am not saying she is S, or A+, but for me she's A at least.
Happy with your views except for the Equinox one. I think you tried but failed to hide your bias mate. Harrow should have been in the same tier as Equinox if you followed your reasoning for placing Equinox in A (i.e., that conceptually, she doesn't make sense but is good...)

Limbo only needs 2 fixes. The first is the ability to allow allies to enter the rift at their own convenience and the other ways is to stop forcing his abilities to stop working. i.e in isolation vaults he can't enter the rift at all which completely breaks his kit, this might be a bug but there are other less extreme cases where mechanics like this are intentional.
1:06:28 if you have no way of dealing with them except for shooting them then why not shoot them? Over Guard doesn't have anything it's strong against and it has no form of damage mitigation other then being a big wad of extra health which doesn't work well for inaros and eximus are no different and the guns can't hurt you because stasis stops the bullets, the only thing you have to worry about is the eximus abilities which can be avoided by being careful. This comment isn't to hate on your opinion of him but to act as propaganda to let people know that he isn't as bad as people think he is and can be very strong, but I think he's actually more or less in the same boat as harrow where he wants to be the doing all the work in a team because he can easily keep everyone alive and if everyone kills everything in his vicinity he doesn't have enough enemies to work efficiently in longer survivals. That's my long rant, sue me

And in these cases, Loki's toolkit is crept so hard that there are multiple preferable options against him in any mission type. And I mean any mission type. At that point you have to give him at best a middling placement
I think Loki should be C but no higher than that. There's still good survivability and CC in his kit but... There are drastically better versions of both, I miss maining him.
Loki is my most used frame btw, I still use him with conductor for memes sometimes.
the only one i strongly disagree with is khora over saryn, she trivializes everything and I usually end up with like 60% of the damage dealt in a full squad if no one else is using her, khora is good but saryn is godlike overall good tier list

Nahnah, you‘re sleeping on Ember just like most of the community. With certain helminths like 5 or so, she is an absolute monster, immolation = DR, armor strip for fire blast, fire blast = knockdowns and strips armor obviously (very great range), absolutely AMAZING for shield gating and also synergizes very well with Gloom making the knockback last decades, Inferno = exothermic giving ember infinite energy most of the time, setting enemies on fire to have her passive at 100% more ability strength 90% of the time in survival SP missions, inferno is also great to use as a mini armor strip, since it obviously proccs heat. Inferno is a mini saryn while the rest of her kit has a use if pairing inferno up with heat inherant primers and armor stripping allowing you to press 4 to win in SP easily. Ember possesses every necessary thing needed for a A or higher tier frame and if you can‘t agree you never looked into ember much. She has Armor stripping, great AoE, amazing CC, (with Gloom slow and life steal), combining Helminths like Gauss‘s, Gloom, Pillage, Terrify, Defy the list goes on. Makes Ember amazing, now if this tier list doesn‘t include Helminth I can see her being B tier, but if it does include Helminth synergies shes at LEAST mid A tier, also putting citrine in A tier but Ember in B tier is quite a bad take. Citrine is Ember but worse, as Citrine can‘t armor strip, is less than half as fun to play and hinders crit chance builds on weapons or melees, Citrine is only good when combined with specific weapons that have high CD but low CC so the bonus at least benefits them.
Also if Citrines specific builds were counted into being higher, so should Embers helminth synergies. As i have mentioned Citrine sucks without a specific primary/secondary/melee.
Hmm. No, I do not have many complaints with this one. I have logged over 4000 combat hours and earned well over 3 or 4 times that in platinum so I have field tested everything shown here.
The problem with the few S tier frames is that a frame should not be so well made and synergize with its skills that it makes other frames, albeit subjectively, a worse choice. The investment needed to bring other, lower tier frames into a functional state somewhere close to that S level is what I see as the main hindrance.
I was never able to embrace, " I main X " where X is the frame the player enjoys most. I always saw my arsenal as a cutlery drawer; I use the tool designed to complete the task. However, there are clear frames for " The New Kid " , clear frames for " The Sweaty Steel Kids " and only a handful that have full skill synergy. I see that as a design issue, not a player's personal skill issue.
I wish Oberon could do more with a single build without heavy investment into one skill. I also wish Inaros' skills had functionality in the current combat. I wish Trinity was used and less bothersome to play, as she was a meta healer at one time.
60% of my arsenal is a Map of the Lost and that is depressing. Congratulations are in order for your partnership; I knew you would do well. Keep testing and experimenting with your builds and you will be on top. We need more combat advisors that can be objective instead of simply in it for the click bait.

Ash is also super good for disruption because his armor strip is super fast for armor stripping the disruption target without using any armor stripping weapons but that’s all I think he’s good for other than disruption he’s just meh
I've been playing him more recently, ever since his 4 is a pseudo exalt and the synnergy with jat kittag augment that allows him to nuke rooms with no prep time or r5 arcanes he is really fun
What makes larva better than ensnare sometimes is for electric focused weapons. Cause it makes all the limbs fumbling around get hit at the same time so u hit a ton of procs at once and way more damage other ppl explain it better
Hardcore downplayed Trinity she can have some insane crit setups and isn't made irrelevant by wisp because she can give a team survivability and energy sustain two things wisp just doesn't do

Thank you for not being like everyone else saying that Ash is a amazing, perfect warframe that has no issues.
This is an opinion some ppl won`t like but I'll say it anyway. Ash needs a revisit and it doesn't matter what anyone else says, stats and ppl`s actions proves he needs one.
I say Ash needs a revisit and ppl say "he`s perfect" and get upset with me but he`s not, Ash has issues most ppl don`t know about.
The reason being because;
· People use two of his augments and helminth 24/7 to the point where they completely ignore the issues of the abilities and act like they are ok.
· The way people use him and talk about him ("oh he can use seeking shuriken to strip armour and can kill lvl 100+ with bs) they can`t see his issues in a general sense.
Look at it this way you have Ash - warframe and you have Ryu - ninja gaiden, if you put Ash in ninja gaiden he would be great probably be even better than Ryu on the other hand if you put Ryu in warframe he will have trouble in that setting.
I was playing Ash and their is something I realised...
Ash can`t deal with hordes of enemies efficiently that`s why most ppl won`t play him. The most effective (fun) way to play him is to play stealthy, he can actually be fun if you play him this way. but wf is a for the most part a horde game and Ash just can`t deal with them so this and other issues with him he needs a revisit.

I was going to say that Wukong isn't S tier but then I realized that I haven't used any frame other than him for spy and rescue. The only difference is that I use the auto hack helminth on his 4.
Wukong is outclassed by Titania. Who cares if you trigger every alarm, there's a timer before you get any consequences and you're the fastest frame in the game.
I like the take on the S rank, I use the S frames when I need to get shit done without a problem.
In my opinion protea goes into s tier with her new augment for her 4th. I put nourish on her 1 and a build with high ability strength. If you learn how to sickle all 4 abilities correct she becomes and absolute beast of a frame. Even better with something like larva on her one but i havent fed nidus to my wall yet.
You would subsume over her shield grenades? That's wild, so much survivability from that move.

Banshee is op use her 1st ability argument slap breach, surge on for her 4 use use rolling guard and you got yourself a frame that average million+ damage on any gun with A OK built
you said in the beginning that if a frame have something they have are especially good at they get one rank upgrade like chroma and then you upgrade wukong from B to S. Not consistent.
Wukong is fantastic at multiple missions, not just one

Bro, how on earth is Baruuk in the same teir with equniox. You need to bend over backwards to make equniox work, Baruuk just works. You cannot run equniox without helminth. Barruk is better with helminth but doesn't need it to work.

I'd argue that Caliban is S tier. Using him with nourish and stripping rooms and insta killing everything on the entire floor with the Sobek and its special mod. Very strong with infinite scaling.
So I have been keeping my mouth shut about a combo for survival because 1. I'm a noob and don't know 90% of what I should know about this game 2. Because I'm afraid that if I say anything it will get get hit with the nerf hammer. I bet veteran players will just have a "no duh you stupid noob" reaction but I found that Citrine and Octavia have something so close to playing afk because Octavia has a wide area of effect that also happens to proc Citrines 3 and it makes an impassable wall of doom that killed 99.9% of things instantly. Granted you have to cast fractured blast every so often to get Octavia some more energy but on the starchart so far we haven't seen anything so overwhelmingly powerful (except maybe mag 😅).
as a Zephyr -shill- main, I'd say that she's an easy A+, arguable S tier warframe.

sentient wrath would be a good ability if it didn't have an enemy cap. put it with someone like nidus khora or zephyr and it would be really fun

Dont have enemies stop being lifted after 1 shot.
Fix lifted to be just on the X axis instead of the Y so enemies font float away.
Make the waves have Syam level climbing.
Enemy cap doesn't matter much when your strength is high for his 4th.
I have protea with Kora's ensnare, and I have stupid fun summoning my arch gun the mausolon fully modded, because she's the only frame who can reload it with dispensary.
I think harrow is not a support. I think he is more like a one person team. He can do everything by himself

He should be S tier because hes so useless he makes every frame look better in comparison. Thats a passive buff to each frames playtime and enjoyability which cant be ignored

I don't like shield gating, so I just put umbra vit and armor on Khora + that arcane that gives max health up to 50 stacks, and honestly, even if it's a bad build, I have cero issues on steel path and enjoy it a lot. Yareli is someone I want to try too, but I'm building an Equinox just because she looks so damn badass.

In all fairness, you can use any half assed build in low steel path farming and be fine, especially with a frame that’s got such wide range like Khora.
It only really matters in high steelpath or longer farming runs where the levels really start to get high.
Equinox is a lovely lass though her base is such a chore to farm and looks so fugly yet her Prime is gorgeous. I do love her loadout and her aesthetic and mine as a Sleepquinox is always starting in Night Form so happy days ;p

People who don't like shield gating usually mean they can't do it properly so they don't like it. And yeah, all that health and are is good for base steel path, but if you're using Khora, you're probably farming, and after an hour or so of farming, that Health and armor will do nothing for you.
Fortunately for you, Equinox is one of the best Nuke frames in the game, if you build her right, they'll never hit you anyway so your strategy will work just fine lol.
Equinox is supposed to be one or the other. If you can have both than she would be less consisten with her t theme. The irony is funny. She's still fun though.
Mesa with Pillage is S++ for me.

The fact that Citrine has been out for as long as she has and still isn't regarded as S is insane to me, as far as strictly supporting allies goes the ONLY thing wisp does better is the speed buff.
Citrine has the ability to give nearly infinite health and energy off her 1, her 2 is a DR that works on shields notably because lets be honest most frames aren't going to get anything of real value from the HP/s that either citrine or wisp give in the shield gate meta, however even there citrine outscales wisp's res with 250eHP/s vs 180 assuming you get up to 600% PS on wisp which isn't even that realistic to strive for.
Another note on Citrine is that she does more support than just the utility/defensive tools I mentioned, she can prime enemies with 8 unique status' solo not accounting for anything from weapons or companions(1 gives Impact/Slash, 3 gives all 4 base elementals, 4 helminth nourish(viral) over her base 4 as its too slow to be really useful, and use Archon Continuity on her for the corrosive procs off the 3 toxin proc)

-Umbral Intensify(Archon Intensify doesn't work off your passive regen for the bonus 30%)
-Flex slot(Until you get 2x tau blues on I recommend Streamline as your entire rotation at 45% eff is 310 and you only reach that much energy with 2x tau blues in on Emax)(could make a case for pflow as well if you wanted to replace the 2x blues)
Archon Shards 2x cast speed, 1 duration, 2 emax(if running flow replace emax with either strength or duration)
Arcanes
-if running CD Arcane avenger is almost mandatory
-personally I like molt augmented but you can flex other arcanes in place of either of these.
nourish doesnt effect 3 so only 7
Good info on some stuff but just like almost every tier list people talk more about helminth than the frames full kit and what they can do in missions. Its more of a how good this ability is on another frames list
love my boi ash not sure why they are afraid to undo his nerf for targeting on blade storm. they said something along the lines of it was op to hit one button and everything dies (same thing with the mesa change) but literally saryn exists
There's a few frames i just don't bother using the helminth. Mag, xaku, harrow and gauss.
So NEKRON/chroma for farm ? Whats for solo play mainly kill enermyes and rescue and just grind :)
