I love this car man I want my GMC Cabellero to look just like this! Why? Because the car is a ''low above the ground'' car, getting into the car makes your back hurt and you ain't got that problem now!
I doubt you will respond but if you do I have a few questions because me and my dad plan on building one. I have a 1978 Chevy 4x4 Frame Short Bed will that be perfect to use The guy who I bought it from gave the axles a 6inch lift would I have any problems with the steering column shaft being short Exactly where the body mounts would be on the frame/body Since I have a 6inch axle lift what would be a perfect body lift inch to have tire clearance Using the El Camino gas tank will it still line up with the gas hole/neck Was it child's play for the core support/front clip and front & rear bumper to line up perfect so there was no little gap between
We didn’t build this car, we bought it the way you see it in the video. The frame was a k5 blazer though. The easiest thing to do would be to measure the wheels base of both the car and the donor to see if they’re the same or close. The rest of the stuff you’ll have to modify or build as you go and as needed.
This is my dream car and I’ve been wanting a camino forever. I’m 13 but I’m saving up money for one when I’m 16 😁

So did you sell it. Btw did the guy that built it did he have to extend the frame for bigger wheel base or have to re postion the rear wheels at all
