I have all the American hardcover books and almost half of the UK editions. Redwall is criminally underrated, Author Brian Jacques gave such a gift to this world. It should be up there with Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Chronicles of Prydain.
_"I will show you Eternity."_ Death and oblivion as the shit-out remains of a predator who will be forgotten to all living memory and recycled by organic systems until such time as the cosmos dies the heat death and fimbulwinter ensues..."Eternity" indeed... That's just Goddamn horrifying.
Two scenes I feel could be added but I don't remember what episodes: Rat walking through the woods looking for mice to kidnap: "Colin! Colin baby!" Same episode maybe(?): Rat: "Line up! *whip crack* Prepare for inspection by the chief!" Cluny: "You're all scum! Filth!" Rat: "Well? Say thank you, scum filth!
the show is based on a book series by Brian Jacques, who passed away several years ago. His style was mainly to be very descriptive to allow those listening to someone reading the book to imagine the scene. The series is called Redwall. Generally you can start with any book in the series as each is it's own contained story, but they are interconnected as being different points in an ongoing timeline.
Redwall is amazing I grew up watching all the time it came out in 1990 and it has three seasons the first ones about what was shown here than season two is about Martin the warrior and the third season is put after the events of season 1 and season 2’s events happen before season 1 and 3, season three is about Mathias’s son and many other children getting kidnapped, I’m not going to spoil anything other than that but all seasons can be found on TH-cam in one full playlist when you search it up
@fireblast133 Fun fact, the reason why it's so descriptive is because he was working at a school for the blind when he started writing them, and wanted to make a series that they could expirience a fantasy world through. It's why the food is so descriptive especially.
"Why aren't you digging? Why aren't you climbing that tree?"
Look! A core memory.
"porridge....they defeated me with p o r r i d g e!"

Absolutely Medieval; I LOVE IT!
Man, Basil sounds nothing like I imagined. Every time I read a hare in the books, I heard exactly John Cleese in my head every single time.
At first I didn’t know what you meant but now I remember, sir what’s his name the brave or something like that from Monty python and the holy grail
I just binged the first season and I absolutely adored it!
@@justaghostinthesea well then, welcome to redwall Abby

I thought about doing those 2 but I needed something for part 2
I have no idea what this show is but I love that the hare has crazy goblin energy.
Basically it’s a fantasy series with woodland critters. It’s based on a huge book series.
Its basically violent medival war books but with cute critters.
