What kind of front fender are you running? I just through on the Luna 21 / 18 wheels and they are saying to take off the front fender because it will bottom out and rub.. Thanks!
I'm running the stock fender, it more depends on what fork you are running and that makes a difference for if you need to remove the fender or not. Id leave it on personally until you have a problem.
Hi. Thanks, your videos are valuable. Being new owner of Talaria (first model), I noticed big rattling noise while riding (mostly when not throttling on hilly land). I think similar noise can be heard in this video when you are riding down the hill. Do you confirm this is the case? Any idea what's causing this? as we are a few complaining about that issue.
It's normal, the rattle is from the battery as it's placed loose in the battery compartment for the Talaria. It's a simple fix, you just need to buy 2 cheap foam pieces and slide them inside the battery compartment and it should reduce the rattle drastically
@@kingcrabdd9459 This has nothing to do with battery. The author has probably already fixed its battery as I did. This is another rattling noise coming from somewhere else. I suspect it comes from chain bumping on gearbox while riding on irregular terrain (especially downhill when not throttling). Someone opened a thread on reddit on that specific issue.
Awesome! Love the content. You guys should really try to figure out what the rattle is on these things, I have spent hours looking for the rattle on my sting R!
There is a couple things that rattle, the main one is the battery, go check out our video on a fix for that. Or if your chain is to loose it will make noise as well. My bike with the chain tight and a strap on the battery is silent on the trail!
@@Talariaboys I have seen your battery video, good stuff, thanks! I went with felt pads and plastic wedges to get my battery very tight within the frame. I still have that darn rattle though and assumed it must be something else. I noticed it several times throughout this video. Is the rattle in this video the battery rattle or something else?
In this video it’s different because lance has a ko controller on his bike and for whatever reason we haven’t figured out, when he put his controller on, his whole bike just got crazy loud in the back end. Like just as loud as an mx3 was. We have heard of a few other people putting ko controllers on sting r and they get way louder to. Reed and Alex’s bikes with the stock controllers are super quiet on the trails.
Thoughts after nearly a year? On an ERide SS. Got the 18/21 from Luna but not feeling the front tire 80/100-21. Seems way too tall compared to rear. Throws geometry off a bit. So i adjusted the fork tubes to compensate. I ordered a tusk recon 70/100-19 for the front since the 18" rear is about the same outer diameter as the stock rear. So with the new tusk front it should be better geometry. Maybe i should try a 70/100 on the 21, just concerned about pinch flats since i ride a lot of rock, roots and logs. The big carcus on the 80/100-21 def helps with that.
@@Talariaboys Yeah I did not like the 19" front, took away a lot of my ability to conquer rough enduro terrain in New England. I ended up putting a smaller mx33 70/100-21 on and it really worked well with that Luna 90/90-18 on the rear (which is really a fantastic tire) but I needed something taller for ground clearance. Diched the wheel and went with a ve33 100/100-18. Hooks up great in the soft stuff but i lose my rear end on anything smooth or slick so Im on the hunt for a sticky-ish tire thats light in 90/100-18 oe 3.5x18 (so i dont have to dish the wheel) or i might reluctantly go back to the Luna because its light (8lbs!!!), hooks up on everything and has better acceleration than a heavier tire.
what brand seat r you running I love the dual stitch design on the ribs that is bad ass!! please let me know I have got to get one to finish off my build.. thanks so much awesome videos I need to get some more of my motovlog style videos up so take care guys and hope to talk soon
I was wondering on the downhill did you use any of the battery regen settings to help control your speed and use less break is there a reason do not use the brake Regen?
Been waiting for this video--not disappointed. What adapter are you using for the front fender to mount it to the Dorado? Is this trail above the "B"? Nice work making it look like a mellow trail.
We cut holes in it and zip tied it on, it’s been working great for 6 months. Yes that’s the trail, haha I ride it a lot but it’s definitely not as mellow as the camera makes it look!
How did you get the front Talaria Sting R MX4 front wheels to show up. It only shows the back rim sizes on the configurator. Did you order Talaria MX3 wheels instead>?
Any problem with broken spokes on those warp9 wheels after a few months.? I got the cheap Milk Racing 21/18 setup and have broke 3 spokes and have hairline cracks in the hub up front!
Yes this one is custom! Email them and they can probably do it for you without Talaria Boys logos and things. You can ask them to do Lance from Talaria boys decal kit
Hey my throttle is so loose it twists around the handlebar, I tried to tighten the two bolts on the throttle but they are stripped out. Any ideas for a fix? New Throttles are Sold out everywhere.
Still got standard talaría absolute love it , ride it here in the Uk , one of not so many people that do stuff to talarías keep it up
Every time--almost--you guys upgrade something, I want to spend money on my Talaria!

That Luna 21 tire is way taller and fatter than that 70/100 mx33 that he's running.

We still really like 18/21 and Its what Lance and Alex still ride primarily, Reed prefers the smaller 16/19 setups

I wanna be the first French talaria boy
U guys rock🤙🤙🤙❤️
Thanks for replying on the 21" does that bike come with that drop down crown or is that something you added and installed.
The fork was optioned with the drop crown, you can select it when ordering. Each fork has a specific type of drop crown designed for it.
Great video 👍.what trail was you riding?

It's just a stock seat with a Moto Seat cover on it!
I was wondering on the downhill did you use any of the battery regen settings to help control your speed and use less break is there a reason do not use the brake Regen?
Yes we use regen braking a lot! No reason not too
As a more budget option I would like to see how you guys like a stock wheel up front with a 16 or 17 in the rear.
Coming soon! That’s what Reeds getting.
is this out yet? 😁@@Talariaboys

Looks GREAT! Good choice - and good job guys!😃👍
So it will most likely rub with the stock forks. Thanks for all the info on this. Definitely going to subscribe to your channel.
Thanks for the sub!

Try this tbelectricmoto.com/search?type=product&q=Wheels
Are you guys doing a KO moto nano controller update? I thought you guys said you had a new really good tune??
It’s coming soon
What about the Ariel? Did not get a look
Why have you removed the seat riser upgrade? Maybe I missed a video about that
He took it off because with the 21 up front the sting r doesn’t really need it anymore. With the front of the bike being higher up.
Does that 21" rub the fender when hitting jumps. Because I had a 21" on my surron and when I hit jumps it would hit the fender.
No it doesn’t rub because of the drop crown on the fork
Any problem with broken spokes on those warp9 wheels after a few months.? I got the cheap Milk Racing 21/18 setup and have broke 3 spokes and have hairline cracks in the hub up front!
Man that’s to bad about your wheels, no warp 9 are top notch and we haven’t had a single issue and we’ve been riding them hard!
Would love to see an Ultra Bee with a 16/19” setup.
Hi, is that a custom sticker kit? I looked at that uk website, no luck. Any place to buy?
Yes this one is custom! Email them and they can probably do it for you without Talaria Boys logos and things. You can ask them to do Lance from Talaria boys decal kit
The tire weight chart is pretty sick.🤙
Yes it’s a huge help!
big reason why i'd change just the back tire to 16" since apparently the weight gain is minimal and the stock front wheel is good enough.
Not a huge fan of 21 front's probably because I ride 70/30 street/dirt. Lightest weight dualsport tires for the Sting?
We really like the Shinko 241
I see front 70/100 seize tyre , what about rear one??
90/100/18
On a 18/21 wheel set with a 52t sprocket, what gear ratio should I program? Thanks!
I'm not sure, I use an aftermarket controller so its not the same.
Hey my throttle is so loose it twists around the handlebar, I tried to tighten the two bolts on the throttle but they are stripped out. Any ideas for a fix? New Throttles are Sold out everywhere.
Dang that’s a bummer! I’d try Luna Cycle, they keep getting new throttle batches in quickly.
Makes me want to sell my 2020 Sur ron and get a Talaria!
Do it!
You won’t be disappointed!
Is it still worth it with the KO nano without upgrading battery?
Yes
Do you think I could run 18 x 21 on my stock E ride Pro SS 2.0? Thank you! : ) Enough Power?
I mainly ride roads....do you still recommend 21/18 or just stay with the 19s all around? Im 6'2
Probably 19s
Bros! Tell talaria to have a bigger re-gen for breaking commin down Benny
Great upgrade for these bikes, colour way looks fantastic too 👍👍
Thanks!
Love the videos bro from Australia things like this are so hard to get and over priced over here you guys are so lucky!!!
