Yea, you are pretty much done here once you start growing your own trees. The tree phase is partially implemented (you can grow them manually with the spreaders but they won't grow by themselves on the landscape). Insect phase isn't implemented at all, just like in the demo/prologue it 'advances' but nothing happens. The one thing you can do if you have the patience : get the fusion cell to open up the doors in the shipwrecks.
Couple thoughts: (1) I see a lot of people confused about progress. Three Nuclear Reactors are plenty until you get Fusion, and one Fusion is plenty. You only need 2 or 3 of each heat/pressure/oxy/biomass device. The x10 multiplier for each Rocket far outstrips making more devices, and Rockets don't use any energy (and Rockets are made from renewable resources). You'll save TONS of time and energy making rockets instead of 6 Nuclear Reactors. (2) The "extra" resources from a mining laser can be easily turned into Super Alloy. Just put a building with an Advanced Fabricator next to a couple lasers in the Aluminum zone; empty a crate, pop into the building, create Super Alloy, rinse, repeat.
It's not a multiplier per rocket, though. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I'd guess each one is +900%. This is linear, and building more of a producer is also linear. Essentially, build whichever you currently have fewest of (unless one is significantly cheaper than the other, in which case build like 1.5 to 2 times as many of those). No point in building ten more rockets when one more heat generator would increase your production by the same amount.
I mean it's kinda like this but not completely true. Iets say one 1 heater produces 50 Kelvin and u have launched a total of 5 rockets for heat. Now that will be 5000% bonus available. So 50 Kelvin times 5000% will be 2500 Kelvin. Now if I launch the 6th heat rocket then it will increase to 3000 Kelvin. But instead of building the 6th rocket, if u build a 2nd heater then the total production will be 100 Kelvin times 5000% will be 5000 Kelvin. Now in the game instead of producing Kelvin it produces nano Kelvin. So that will be 5000 nano Kelvin which is more than 3000 nano Kelvin. Now I'm not saying ur wrong, it's just that if u have a proportion of bonuses and producers it will have a large result compared to only increasing one factor, in this case it will be the bonuses
You should make a cleaning up episode while waiting for your techs. You no longer need those nuklear reactors or solar ones. Take them down and just make second fusion generator. They are easy to make . Upgrade all those T1 to T2 extraktors. Maybe even craft shreader machines at each extractors to get rid of those basic materials ? Make a bigger storage rooms where you would full storage for each material ? You know .. you will be waiting for the techs anyway so might as well prepear for the next update by gathering more basic resources and so on. Also you can take down the water collector and build it on top of your storage room . You should be able to gather the water while been inside the room as well. That way you will not have it right in front of your doors blocking it all. And I do belive there is one seed spreader still T1 ? The one right on the left when you exit your base ? Or maybe that is just an angle making it look like T1 ? Dont know. But you should take down that power. Having 2 fusion generators is better than having so much of those nuklear ones =(
Pick up the tall flower plants you see when gathering ores. They are the seeds you need to make a tree seed. Tree seeds are made in the DNA manipulator. You can climb the vines in the canyon area by standing next to it. A climb prompt will appear.
I would add several more of the machines that produce biomass to speed things up. Also, try adding a door, windows and glass ceiling to the storage room.
19:13 Volnus flowers can be found in the canyon. There are vines at the base of each of the plateaus, you can climb them. There are crates and Flowers on top of them, There is only one Volnus flowers though.
it would help if this was entirely accurate. There are currently six volnus flowers available in the game and you can get exactly ONE of them from on top of those plateaus, one of them is looted from behind a false, destructible wall in one of the wrecks, and the others are in various locations around the map.
You need to do a Planet Crafter Startup Video: What to do at first start to get yourself ready to play the game and have things ready for success to have a more advantage at startup then you did so in short prepare to play by doing goal A, B, C, D, first: What would you of done different now that you have all this game knowledge of being towards the end of play till a new update comes out.
Fun little tip, with the rockets, if you happen to be building 2 at the same time (on the same platform) the physics of the 1st rocket launch is affected by the creation of the 2nd rocket. For fun, build a rocket, launch it, then immediately while it's starting to take off, build the next rocket.
@@FenrirYT13 That's good advice. I've seen other YTers do this. They are focused on one thing, looking on the screen in one direction and their mind ignores the random (valuable) stuff.
couple things i found that you missed. 1. in the big ship to the west of your base, take the right path inside the ship. go to the ladder, go up, then follow it to the back room. one of the walls can be deconstructed. inside is 3 chests. one of which has a tree seed. 2. just east of the pointy end of that same ship are 2 boulders (look from on top of the ship to see them both), near the left boulder is a ladder leading down to a bunker with a note from a survivor of that ship crash and some misc stuff to grab.
YOU BEST NOT TAKE A BREAK! There's still so much missing, loads to unlock not even got one tree yet.. I wanna see how far you can push base building and the limits of the game! We've got plenty left to see yet, sit tight on ending this series! 👀🤣
Recommendation from someone at over 60 GTi - focus hard on the iridium mining as it makes it alot easier to 1, set up more mining and is also used for alot of "end game equipment" + to make rockets. So it's by far the most important material to keep pushing up the production. I currently have4 T2 miners on Iridium and 2 on every other resource(except for aluminium). I ran 2xT2 miners on iridium then 1x T2 on Osmium/Alloy until all the base/machine building was done. I've yet to set one up on uranium as it's not really used that much after you get the Fusion generator(I had 1.5 lockers full after meteors + 8 leftover rods after setting up 6 nuclear generators), actually flying out there to set a couple up now. But having a shedload of Iridium makes the late game so much easier.
@@Mouse-dd7dn Attaining the means to travel from biome to biome as quickly as possible to collect the golden crates, then unlocking the T3 Vegetubes and planting the GSeeds. You can technically do this from the start of the game, as all you need are 3 Iron, 2 Titanium and a Silicon to make a makeshift emergency O2 shelter. After that, you build specifically in the heat tree to unlock the Vegetubes as fast as possible. I don't really recommend doing this without at least the craftables from the T2 Crafting Station, minimum. The Boosters, O2 Pack and T2 Backpack are pretty essential. O2 Pack and Backpack are available right from the gate, and Boosters are one of the first blueprint chips you unlock. I think they're the second one.
Love this game! I would highly recommend you work to Tier 3 tree spreader... they cover a fair area. As for the games I would like to see you complete would be Rift Breaker and Satisfactory. To see you in the later tear builds: using gas and the blenders for example..
I would suggest continuing the series extending the base adding on the rooms to get rid of the columns add on extreme storage space to where each mineral has multiple storage containers filled as well as a sprawling complex involving more biodomes and power more than you could possibly ever need that way when you do get more updates you can focus on building and adding on to your base those new items it'd be really cool for you to build a observation tower on the back side of the biodome as many as you can tall and then do the very top two or three layers circle builds and in the very top one being a single cube as for the fusion power cores those are probably to power those few fusion reactors you have found in the cross ships
Devs removed golden chest blueprint and there are also some locked doors that needs to be open by putting fusion energy cell into a fusion reactor inside the ring stargate and inside the ship wreck on top of the hill that had golden chest on it, but that is by the end of the game and btw, i would like to see you continue with No Place Like Home
Nice series Z1. This game is fun, just by watching you ! For a new game, i suggest : Captain of Industry. I feel it will be really interesting to watch you struggle with this game, in which you can easily be soft locked.
You still need to make those fuel cells and put them in the ships with the fusion generators, haven't gotten that far myself so I'm not sure what it does, I hope something with the super gate.
I was able to build the cell but when i put it in i noticed no change in the immediate surrounding nor did i notice a power spike to the plant power grid. I think you can make the cells but i am un sure as to what they do, if anything at this point in development.

One game I would love to see is Stelaris. It is a old enough game but my cousin talks about it as much as he can. It sounds pretty fun but it isn’t my kind of game to play so I would love to watch you play it
I love this series and am impatiently waiting each day for my notification of a new episode. I love how you are the only player so far that made your camp on the iridium cave side of the valley. It just makes more sense to me logically.
There was an update a few days ago that added text saying just that, when you try to decode one it says something like no more decodes available "for now".
@@Raida7 I guess they don't want people to use up all their chips and have to start a new game when they add new things to decode. It was cool getting all those free rocket engines in the prologue.
Please please please play feudal alloy i think you will love it, its a sidescroling game but based on your videos and what you enjoy I really believe with all my heart you and everyone else will love it
Insects and fish are not implemented yet. The vines on the columns in the great canyon…..walk up to them and it will give you the option to climb. Climb them and get the plants and Zeolite up top. Extra ore. There’s a ton of it. I became my planets first litter bug. I collected as much as I could and stored it… the rest I dumped on the bottom of a lake to get it out of the way. If you launch a rocket and run inside fast enough, you can look at your gps map and watch the rocket on its way to space.
Flower spreaders T2 and algae T2 are good for getting your biomass up until you get tree spreaders. Climb the vines. Even with a dozen T3 tree spreaders and lots of rockets I've not reached the fusion cell yet, that one is a long wait. With the recycling machine now you can store loads of iridium and uranium as rods and turn them back into ores as you need them. I ended up putting several shredders around the map next to my mining areas and then cleaned up all the extra stuff I had already dumped on the ground. For the next game maybe get back to No Place Like Home?
If your looking for another planet terraforming game, there's another game called surviving that has a green planet dlc that i would recommend. The basics of the game is setting up a colony on the red planet. Would definitely like to see
Be careful with that Shredder. I can easily imagine deleted way too much. Seems like it might be a good thing near a mining drill. Like that 1 for Super Alloy. You can shred everything else to make room for more alloy.
The plant ratio should be going up exponentially since it's a spreading life form that grows on its own. The fact that the amount needs to be distributed via machinery is kind of ridiculous but at the same time, would make that part of the game easily exploitable.
i wish there is a game like breathedge.. it was your best series in my opinion .. its sandbox.. and has a very funny narrative .. and both you and us enjoyed it
You should try to use tree spreaders on the entire world and make it all a big Forrest, you could also do plains and meddows with grass and flower spreaders
If you get the nuclear fusion cell, you can put them in the wrecks that have nuclear fusion reactors. I tested it on a separate file and it worked! I don't wanna spoil what happens after that, so I hope you find out yourself! Good Luck, Pal! 👍
There are not a lot of terraforming games out there yet, the only few that came out of are coming soon involve terraforming mars while also doing colony survival like Reshaping Mars, Per Aspera, Surviving Mars, etc. I for one would like to see a Factorio style game about terraforming a planet, but I can't wait for Terra Nil to come out soon.
Can always make the fusion rods and go back to the bigger wrecks, add them to the fashion reactors on those ships. You get some of the rarer resources, but personally I d9nt think it's worth it.
I would love to see Battlebit Remastered. It’s on steam and it’s a great massively multiplayer, tactical shooter with so many extra quality of life features that make the game 30 times better. Love the videos keep up the great work.
When you get through with Planet Crafter I would like to see you play Empyrion Galactic Survival. Its a great game and I think you would really enjoy it.
Terragenesis, its a planet colonization game in which you CAN terraform, though its not required unless you choose the daughters of gaia faction, and one of them actually hates terraforming, each factionhas different goals and each planet is different
i have used the materials to do that but now that i have been cued to the Alloy cave i tend to do it less. Honestly though once you are in late game either option works.
That's what I've started doing, the aluminum area is closer. A T2 extractor over there and 3 T1s near my base and I can make super alloy faster than traveling over to the cave. You can snap platforms to the extractors, and put lockers on the platforms, in no time you can have 2 rows of lockers filled with every material. Grab 5 of each and make 5 super alloy in seconds.
I dont know if its much but behind the sand falls is actually a secret cave. besides that a massive hill of sand. its a simple osmium/sulfur one but one none the less
Hey Z while playing i found another large cave with a bunch of Ozmium, Iridium, and a decent amount of zeolite. The cave can be found the the area with the tall spikey rocks.
That’s the cave that leads to the blue sector (rocky region) and the abandoned base. Kinda like the cave on ship wreck hill leads to the sulfur field. That’s partially why my main base sits under the iridium sand cave waterfall on the upper side. There’s another osmium cave leading from the backside of the labyrinth to the great canyon. It’s filled with water, but it’s one of the only pools of water against the wall of the canyon.
I'd like to see you expand your base to all over the play-able map to see how far you can see your gps and potential have quick transport from site to site
Empty your mine storage each time you visit. Build some lockers for mats you don't need. Next time you'll get lots of materials you want but only if you empty it. I've built 3 x T2 at each place. So so much osmium, uranium etc And you're still a ways away from the end of this alpha stage.
Did you guys know there is hidden DNA recipe that is not shown in DNA recipe list on the DNA manipulator? Tree seed is called Pleom which you can get using Gold flower and it gives 200% bonus
The golden crate chip in pretty sure came from a golden crate. Of which there are now 11 and it would be awesome to see you grab all of them, seeing as you’ve grabbed 4-5 already. With a few you have also flew right past at least a dozen times now
It WAS in one of the Golden Crates, but now it isn't. I just went through and collected all 11 and there wasn't a blueprint in any of them. I guess the Devs took it out. Maybe it'll be brought back when more of the end-game content is finished.

Gotta agree. Iridium is key to forward momentum. NGL tho, fast tracking to the 11 Gold Seeds really jumpstarts your building capabilities.

I was also expecting the Nuclear Fusion Reactor to be GIGANTIC. Imagine my surprise to see that it was only that size.

There is a secret room on one of the ships. You have to deconstruct one of the walls.. there is a surprise in there!
I think you should try doing a modded Raft series or an Alchemist's Awakening series.

I found a tree seed "iterra" in a crashed ship be on the lookout for false walls i was clicking away with the de-construction chip/tool.
One game I would love to see is Stelaris. It is a old enough game but my cousin talks about it as much as he can. It sounds pretty fun but it isn’t my kind of game to play so I would love to watch you play it
I love this series and am impatiently waiting each day for my notification of a new episode. I love how you are the only player so far that made your camp on the iridium cave side of the valley. It just makes more sense to me logically.
I’ve collected 10 chips that I can’t decode, so it seems like they are for future expansion? I love this game.
There was an update a few days ago that added text saying just that, when you try to decode one it says something like no more decodes available "for now".
the extra chips used to turn into rockets once there were no more unlocks, I really miss that cos I'm always gonna find a use for rockets
@@Raida7 I guess they don't want people to use up all their chips and have to start a new game when they add new things to decode. It was cool getting all those free rocket engines in the prologue.
nice job, you should build a few water extractors on the lakes. also try and fire up the reactors in the ring structure and big spaceship wreck.
never destroy resources, convert them into Super alloy as you need it for all advanced construction

Insects and fish are not implemented yet. The vines on the columns in the great canyon…..walk up to them and it will give you the option to climb. Climb them and get the plants and Zeolite up top.
Extra ore. There’s a ton of it. I became my planets first litter bug. I collected as much as I could and stored it… the rest I dumped on the bottom of a lake to get it out of the way.
If you launch a rocket and run inside fast enough, you can look at your gps map and watch the rocket on its way to space.
You should look into The Riftbreaker. It’s a top down base building game on an alien planet. You run around in a mech to mine, kill, and explore.
Flower spreaders T2 and algae T2 are good for getting your biomass up until you get tree spreaders.
Climb the vines.
Even with a dozen T3 tree spreaders and lots of rockets I've not reached the fusion cell yet, that one is a long wait.
With the recycling machine now you can store loads of iridium and uranium as rods and turn them back into ores as you need them.
I ended up putting several shredders around the map next to my mining areas and then cleaned up all the extra stuff I had already dumped on the ground.
For the next game maybe get back to No Place Like Home?

If your looking for another planet terraforming game, there's another game called surviving that has a green planet dlc that i would recommend. The basics of the game is setting up a colony on the red planet. Would definitely like to see

Waking Mars was a pretty neat game
Be careful with that Shredder. I can easily imagine deleted way too much. Seems like it might be a good thing near a mining drill. Like that 1 for Super Alloy. You can shred everything else to make room for more alloy.
The plant ratio should be going up exponentially since it's a spreading life form that grows on its own. The fact that the amount needs to be distributed via machinery is kind of ridiculous but at the same time, would make that part of the game easily exploitable.

I've seen others play 1 or 2 episodes then completely forget it exists, i want to see a series on it.
You should try to use tree spreaders on the entire world and make it all a big Forrest, you could also do plains and meddows with grass and flower spreaders
I recomend you trying out the surviving mars it even have a green planet expansion
If you get the nuclear fusion cell, you can put them in the wrecks that have nuclear fusion reactors. I tested it on a separate file and it worked! I don't wanna spoil what happens after that, so I hope you find out yourself! Good Luck, Pal! 👍

There are not a lot of terraforming games out there yet, the only few that came out of are coming soon involve terraforming mars while also doing colony survival like Reshaping Mars, Per Aspera, Surviving Mars, etc. I for one would like to see a Factorio style game about terraforming a planet, but I can't wait for Terra Nil to come out soon.
Z, you should play Hunter: call of the wild. It is a hunting game but it is worth it. I am sure you would enjoy playing it.
Can always make the fusion rods and go back to the bigger wrecks, add them to the fashion reactors on those ships. You get some of the rarer resources, but personally I d9nt think it's worth it.
I would love to see Battlebit Remastered. It’s on steam and it’s a great massively multiplayer, tactical shooter with so many extra quality of life features that make the game 30 times better. Love the videos keep up the great work.

surviving mars has some good planet terraforming in it, you need the Green Planet DLC

Terragenesis, its a planet colonization game in which you CAN terraform, though its not required unless you choose the daughters of gaia faction, and one of them actually hates terraforming, each factionhas different goals and each planet is different

Would´t it be smarter to turn the overflow basic materials into super alloy on site?
i have used the materials to do that but now that i have been cued to the Alloy cave i tend to do it less. Honestly though once you are in late game either option works.
That's what I've started doing, the aluminum area is closer. A T2 extractor over there and 3 T1s near my base and I can make super alloy faster than traveling over to the cave. You can snap platforms to the extractors, and put lockers on the platforms, in no time you can have 2 rows of lockers filled with every material. Grab 5 of each and make 5 super alloy in seconds.
do a starbound play through that would be an awesome series to watch, something a little different.
I dont know if its much but behind the sand falls is actually a secret cave. besides that a massive hill of sand. its a simple osmium/sulfur one but one none the less

Hey Z while playing i found another large cave with a bunch of Ozmium, Iridium, and a decent amount of zeolite. The cave can be found the the area with the tall spikey rocks.
That’s the cave that leads to the blue sector (rocky region) and the abandoned base. Kinda like the cave on ship wreck hill leads to the sulfur field. That’s partially why my main base sits under the iridium sand cave waterfall on the upper side.
There’s another osmium cave leading from the backside of the labyrinth to the great canyon. It’s filled with water, but it’s one of the only pools of water against the wall of the canyon.
I'd like to see you expand your base to all over the play-able map to see how far you can see your gps and potential have quick transport from site to site

Empty your mine storage each time you visit. Build some lockers for mats you don't need. Next time you'll get lots of materials you want but only if you empty it. I've built 3 x T2 at each place. So so much osmium, uranium etc
And you're still a ways away from the end of this alpha stage.

Did you guys know there is hidden DNA recipe that is not shown in DNA recipe list on the DNA manipulator?
Tree seed is called Pleom which you can get using Gold flower and it gives 200% bonus
you could play Surviving: Mars, a similar concept but it plays more like a city building game rather than a single player survival.
The golden crate chip in pretty sure came from a golden crate. Of which there are now 11 and it would be awesome to see you grab all of them, seeing as you’ve grabbed 4-5 already. With a few you have also flew right past at least a dozen times now
It WAS in one of the Golden Crates, but now it isn't. I just went through and collected all 11 and there wasn't a blueprint in any of them. I guess the Devs took it out. Maybe it'll be brought back when more of the end-game content is finished.
Is that where it was? Explains why I was not able to replicate it.
