- We walk you through the process of installing our new billet C5/C6/C7 corvette short-throw shifter.
These shifters are made to give you the best possible shifting feel in your Corvette with a 15% throw reduction over a factory-style shifters. Every shifter assembly was designed right here in-house and made with a billet design right here in our factory in North Carolina, USA. Each product is shipped as a complete assembly and fits C6 or C7 shift knobs. This Short-Throw Shifter fits C5, C6, and C7 Corvettes.
Our unique design with included alignment tool allows the complete shifter assembly to remain contained from the elements, and provides life-long performance.

As an experience GM tuner, I’ve been in tons of T56 and TR6060 Corvettes and Camaros. I’ve tried most of them. Stock C6Z, C6ZR1, MGW, Hurst, Tmod…etc. and now more recently the Tick short throw. This is significantly better, smoother, crisper than MGW and Hurst while somehow being less notchier and requiring less effort. Absolutely impressed with it, and definitely best shifter IMO.

Did you try out the MGW flat stick or just the regular MGW, how'd the flat stick compare to the Tick? I'm torn between MGW flat stick or just spending the extra coin for the Tick!
Great video! I’m going to buy a C5 Z06 next year. I wasn’t planning on doing a short shifter because I’ve heard stories about all the other shifters being so notchy and too stiff. This video has definitely changed my mind.

How does this compare to the mgw shifter? I like notchy shifts I have the oem stuff in there and it is so mushy
I'm honestly a stock shifter guy, but I am taller with longer arms the shifter location has always annoyed me on this c6. you got anything that would offset the shifter forward some? I might try it since you don't cut the boot up if you have handle options. maybe a little taller too?
We don't plan on making a more forward stick, as for the taller option, every kit will come with a 9/16 x 18 threaded stick that would bump height up to be taller than the OEM style stick (shown in video and included).
I have a t56 magnum shifter coming Wednesday can’t wait to try it
