Wow, i am early to say that even if I have no interest in buying anything other than my steamdeck, I still watch all of your videos because they are cozy, relaxing and really well made ^^
crazy getting that much performance out of that. It would be really cool to see someone make a custom console like looking case for it that can incorporate a full size gpu and power supply so you can get crazy performance in the size of a gaming console
Omg, how cute is that Board and the GPU? Would be cool if you can stack the parts, maby with a GPU riser cable and put it in a Case. Great Build, as always!
Very cool! Upgrading from N100 to N305 definitely delivers expected performance boost, however compared pricewise N305 is still quite expensive. Bazzite is an excellent Linux gaming distro, well done!
The biggest problem of these type of systems is that the board with the CPU alone makes it more expensive than standard ITX builds, because they produce them in such small amount that they're very expensive. Also it's such a waste to test this hardware with things like Cyberpunk, it's never going to run them well no matter how much FSR, framegen is bad when the real framerate is low. I'd rather see benchmarks of eSport titles and older single player games.
Neat video. I have the N100 8gb MU and its neat. Tried it with the same RX 6400 and it was also neat. Used it for home assistant for a bit and it worked well. Now it's a tablet to watch streams and videos with some environmental sensors on it for fun. The N305 would be neat too but I would rather get a sff mobo and AMD CPU for the price.
There should be a blade board and case to mount multiple of these along with an M2 SSD in a rack, this is an ideal module for small Kubernetes clusters.
Would love to see some emulation next! Thinking EmulationStation within Bazzite to match a steam deck. Any tricks to transfer the emulation saves between systems seemlessly?
using an mxm gpu with a pci-e adapter and a ribbon cable you can likely make this thing flat enough to make a kick ass little tablet, all be it a pretty chucky thick one but doable.
It would be interesting to see a DIY steamdeck build fully with screen, case, battery and buttons but a DIY budget Vs Ideal DIY setup. Been trying to find a full self kit for a while but don't know where to start
Now only if you could make a small case for this and have a configuration that sandwiches the gpu to the side with a well made riser, it would be tiny. But after seeing jumps like the HX370, I'm thinking mini PCs with just a single APU will overpower this in just 5 years.
you might get street fighter to boot if you can set all it's settings to low in a config before booting. i haven't played it in a while but i remember it being a VRAM hog.
I got bazzite on my desktop right now! 5800x3d 6700xt-mounted two lian li 120mm fans instead of stock cooler 32gb ram 4000mhz ddr4 cl16 gskill rgb x570-i strix full ekwb mother board waterblock ekwb flt80 res All in a lian li a4-h20! I'm on 4k LG OLED C2 120hz, works great with hdr!
In General, while I like SteamOS, we do not agree: I would not call the AMD RX6400 a "graphics card" it's works better as a graphics "Adapter". I use a SteamOS-PC, & I use a Steam Deck, and I have a RX6400(ITX-4GB) also a Ryzen7-5700G and it just needs the 5700G which SteamOS lets the 5700G use more System-RAM than the RX6400 has VRAM. But if you think you need >8GB of VRAM, >20GB is System RAM, and you need to play at 1440p @ 240Hrz, then you want a full gaming tower and might as well just use a Windows-PC. I'm fine with a Steam-Machine/SteamOS-PC/Steam-Deck. Give me ideas for a video
It's the same. You will likely not see major performance differences from one distro the th next unless the reason is outdated drivers or too much running in the background. A distro is just a box that distros maintainers put stuff in for the user to have on instal. The box isn't special.
@@froggyman_ that's more an issue with Fedora using older stuff and Arch being bleeding edge. One side effect is that you might occasionally update an arch based distro and it won't boot. Not often, but it might occur. Once the related drivers that imoact performance are updated in the fedora based distro, it will no longer be slower.
you can swoop a used dell rx6500 low profile for cheaper than a used rx 6400 and have much better performance it will play at higher fps at higher settings than the 6400 with the same power limit
In Skyrim add the command "SteamDeck=0 %command%" to the launch options, to deactivate the steam deck preset.
Thank you!!! I'll be needing this with Skyblivion coming out this year. I'm using my desktop and bazzite!
Wow, i am early to say that even if I have no interest in buying anything other than my steamdeck, I still watch all of your videos because they are cozy, relaxing and really well made ^^
I think you should watch CES 2025 as on January 7th in just a week we will be seeing the new generation of handhelds
Just need to buy more steamdecks
Steam deck 2 tho

Its channels like this that keeps my interest in PC gaming as well as emulation! Happy 2025 ETA!
I love these singke board computers (even though the Panda Mu isn't a sbc). You know what I mean. This is why I sub to eta prime. Keep it up man.
Omg, how cute is that Board and the GPU?

piron man 5 or idk
The Lattepanda could be a retro emulation monster!
that will be very good.

these tiny PC's videos are my favourite 👍

my first gaming PC could barely play Team fortress 2 at 1366x768 back in the day. Gaming hardware has become so fast

Neat.
Would be awesome to see this with an A380 or even an A310
Yes... but why?
Why not?
Low power gaming for one thing
Htpc solution
I don't see this module on the official Latte Panda sales website. When is this going to be available?
There should be a blade board and case to mount multiple of these along with an M2 SSD in a rack, this is an ideal module for small Kubernetes clusters.
It would be cool to see someone make this combo into a mini desktop.
I watching your video since tutorial about raspberry pi. I know your video have a future because you FOCUS on products not chasing glamour. 😎✌🏻
You should have used a Dell amd 6500 that would have been a better card. For this set up
Happy New year ETA Prime!
Would love to see some emulation next! Thinking EmulationStation within Bazzite to match a steam deck. Any tricks to transfer the emulation saves between systems seemlessly?
The expansion board got the PCIE slot orientation completely wrong
Happy new year from Germany 🎉

That Dell RX 6500 single slot would be really good.
And yeah, wish this CPU had at least PCIE 4.0 X4
Hey ETA u should try the dell exlusive rx 6500, the name implies that its better than the rx 6400, ITG gear explores the gpu and its capapbilities
It would be interesting to see a DIY steamdeck build fully with screen, case, battery and buttons but a DIY budget Vs Ideal DIY setup. Been trying to find a full self kit for a while but don't know where to start
3050/a2000 next

Very Great Idea 👍👍👍👍👍
RTX4060 would need an additional 8-pin power. I wonder if the Lattepanda would cause some serious bottlenecking?
You can power it yourself with a cable and it will work.
dell rx 6500 low profile would be a solid upgrate for the lattepanda and they cheaper than rx 6400s on ebay
Depends on game, but we can see nearly 60-70% of CPU usage with Rx 6400
Happy New Year.
This is so stupid and the exact type of content I crave.

Just worried for you, does spinning that fan the wrong direction push voltage backwards into the board?
But, what is cost for that?
I got bazzite on my desktop right now!
5800x3d
6700xt-mounted two lian li 120mm fans instead of stock cooler
32gb ram 4000mhz ddr4 cl16 gskill rgb
x570-i strix full ekwb mother board waterblock
ekwb flt80 res
All in a lian li a4-h20!
I'm on 4k LG OLED C2 120hz, works great with hdr!
This is cool as a quick project but wouldn't most people be better off with a mini pc with some Ryzen and 780m config?
It'd be interesting if someone made an io board for this thing with an mxm slot instead of the standard pcie.
great project, paving the way for new products. too bad my country is shit, high taxes make this impossible for me.
would make a great portable pc

i bet it would be a cool project to make a hand held out of that, think of steam deck you can just swap the compute module out
would be so cool, it's a shame that compute modules seem to outlive the things they go in lol
If that's the Bazzite power, I can't imagine CachyOS power.

@@GoblinArmyInYourWalls It's odd, because I got more FPS in RE4R in Cachy than bazzite

i would limit the framerate to 30 and play without fsr
Bazzite OS , best Linux distribution. Laptops, Handhelds, PC tower ,No Problem , forget Windows 11
you can swoop a used dell rx6500 low profile for cheaper than a used rx 6400 and have much better performance it will play at higher fps at higher settings than the 6400 with the same power limit
Can you do this with the Jetson Orin super nano
Cyberpunk 75 fps on Medium is really impressing
Maybe my next x86 batocera build with my daughter into a cab
Provide affiliate links for parts!
When is this available to buy
What would have been the best gpu to use
Why the hell did you put steam is when you are using bazaitte
ok idk why when i seen sbc i read small block chevy XD
So this plus a2000 12gb equals low power powerhouse for 1440?
Whoever designed that carrier board is dumb. Why would you make the I/O be the opposite way the PCI slot faces. Peak silliness.
I guess this is cool
why didnt you use 3050
He says why. Bazzite doesn’t work as well with Nvidia, so he’s using the most appropriate AMD card.
Any budget APU Igpu gaming laptop
why not sell your builds
Frame Gen is for situations like this. Using frame gen on a high-end card should be embarrassing.
3050 6gb?
I mean yeah for me I don't know it's too small to unpredictable and would never buy something like that but looks nice
What do you mean too unpredictable?
I👁️ OPEN🧿!!!!!
Day 62 of asking for a gamesir g8 galileo
neat
yup
Segs
im 5th today but no matter im still early
The RX 6400 will lose to the Steam Deck in terms of VRAM
First
