RMS is the OG Glossier. A lot of their products looks 'inspired' by RMS imo

Thanks for the review. Just wanted to mention that Glossier Is NOT a natural makeup brand. Their concealers, foundation and cloud paints all contain silicone. RMS is an natural makeup brand, full of organic ingredients. I much prefer RMS purely for this reason because I know that what im putting on my skin is all natural and it feels so much better. In saying that, Glossier cloud paints look really good but I try not to wear it too often because of the silicone.

I like RMS better too! although I don't avoid silicons because I think they're safe for skin the RMS beauty products are way more sustainable as all products are packaged in glass which is super recyclable
@@arshg8685 mate, you're thinking of silicon not silicone. Silicone is a synthetic compound that is essentially a thin layer of plastic over your skin to smooth it out. If that's what you want, then go for it. Definitely debatable as to whether it is harmless. That's why there are brand like RMS, which are silicone free.

honestly I thought that the RMS highlighter was more dewy (on camera anyway)! like a natural radiance as opposed to a concentrated swipe of highlight? 🤷👀 also you have been absolutely glowing recently!!

I really like RMS but I feel like they cater more to fair skinned people and they love to fear-monger. I feel like although Glossier's shade range is small, it goes across a large spectrum whereas RMS does like 4 shades of white people and then 2 shades of tanned white people lmao

I find rms more natural and dewy looking and blinding in a pretty way
I use the RMS uncover up with a beauty blender as a foundation, and I LOVE it! It leaves my skin nice and dewy and doesn’t leave my skin cakey at all

Haven't jumped onto the Glossier bandwagon yet but I have a few hold-outs from RMS from about a year ago. I have to say that 60% of the products I had went off really quickly as they are so natural and coconut-based. That being said, I also found that wearing RMS on my cheeks on the regular made me break out in bumps (but that's just me being sensitive to coconut oil, I suppose.) I do have quite a few lip and cheek items left from them that I really enjoy but I stopped pursuing their new launches and no longer follow them as I unfortunately found the owner not only to be downright rude to her IG followers but also tries to scare the living shit out of you if you put anything on your face or body that is not hers. Love you boo. xoxo

Joelle I can’t figure out how people get it to not look oily underneath the eyes. Also I got the luminizer (the other one than the living) and it dried out almost immediately. The concealer did pretty fast too.

regarding the buriti bronzer: you can see the shimmer in it if you build it up. it’s so pretty as an eyeshadow bc it gives your eyelids a subtle golden sheen ❤️ you gotta try it jo
Try mixing un cover up with a little living luminiser for the under eye, it will give it some light reflecting qualities! I love this video idea, it’s great to see RMS compared to other products 😊

Love this review. However I was listening to a podcast which featured Rose Marie Swift and she was explaining that her products are really meant to be rubbed into the skin rather than tapped onto the skin. Obviously you can apply makeup however you want but it'd be interesting to see how you get along using RMS's tip :)

Thank you for this review! I have used RMS uncoverup and LOVED it, but I think I'll try the stretch concealer next, since my main issue is dark circles, not blemishes. PS- RMS has a foundation now :) I saw it at my Sephora.
Based on the RMS vids (with Rose Marie), the un-cover up isn't really meant to go over whole sections of the face (since their aim is to let the face be), but more so tone down problem spots. Even then, the product isn't meant to completely conceal, hence, UN-cover up, if that makes any sense...

The RMS Eye Polish = really nice as are the Lip Shines. And at $28 and $25, respectively, that's a bit of money. Still, worth it where/when quality matters more than quantity. (i'm working on that. ;)
Glossier is coming into the U.K. so I am not so familiar with the brand. However when I look at the ingredients between the two, RMS is a big winner and is organic so in my opinion it s where I go! It a nice comparison video and was nice to discover Glossier!

I use glossier dusk cloud paint as a bronzer.
Rickerov I mix mine with puff, it is perfect.
I tried both and glossier keeps breaking me out in acne all over my face from their moisturizers and skin tint. The only worthy buys are their cloud paints, lipsticks and mascara. I am never cheating on rms again. That makeup feels like second skin to me with lots of multi functional color options for different skin tones.

I really like the RMS lip2cheeks, but only on the lips. For some reason I always get shiny wherever I've applied it even if I set it. The eye shadow is nice too (Magnetic is my favorite) but they crease too quickly.
Do you find the glossier skin tint and concealer to be very hydrating. my face is medium level dry do it Retin-A use. my HG is laura mercier tinted moisturizer, so part of me wants to try skin tint, but i dont think it would be as good as LM.
Also is RMS or Glossier concealar more hydrating.?
And do you find the cloud paints last long through the day?
I'm trying to use up my makeup before I buy more, its been soooo hard hahaha
lisa p skin tint is not good for dry skin and made me break out in acne. It dries into a matte finish so it is has a faux moisturizing effect that doesn’t last. Also rms concealer doesn’t crease like the stretch one and it is more hydrating. Cloud paints didn’t last on my face.

i wish i didn’t get my nyx concealer. it’s kind of like the RMS. i can still see a little of my dark circles and i dislike that. it still has coverage though. i might just pick up the stretch concealer
do you have to use setting powder when using these concealers?

does the glossier have waterproof mascara? And does generation g lip last a long time on the lips?
The mascara isn’t waterproof however because it’s a tubing mascara it doesn’t smudge. I’ve cried with it several times and it never ran in my experience. The gen g’s last as long as any lipstick I’d say. Def reapply after eating.

How does the RMS bronzer compare to the Chanel bronzer? Are they comparable?
Not in my opinion! The texture is totally different. The Chanel is more matte even tho it’s a cream, it’s like a matte solid gel almost. The rms was way more creamy and dewy and has shimmer. Plus totally different colors. The rms has more pink where the Chanel is more of a true orangey brown
