You were definitely right about this build! I was so shocked to see how much this build shreds.
I replaced termite armor with assassin’s armor so my critical hits have a chance to deal 25 stun. Also gives bleed so that’s nice. Swapped mant with shocking dismissal for more stun. Giving the battle axe a possible 89 stun on an attack.

Thankyou for this! I’m overwhelmed at the sheer amount of weapons and also the resistances/weaknesses enemies have … i felt like i’d need to make multiple weapons to deal with all enemy types and hate the thought of having no room in my inventory
I'm glad you found it helpful! It just takes time but you'll know it well enough!
I like my triple bleed with also the occasional 20% damage boost every so often so the bleed gets stronger.
I use the same one most of the time

completely obsessed with de buffs i see, i can dig it. Wouldnt Mom Genes fit better than Mansterious Stranger for the flat + poison damage it provides?
So I found that the spiderlings don't last long in a battle while the Mant can tank a bunch of damage. There are a bunch of summoning combos that I could recommend. Back when the dagger-shield combo was OP, I rocked a massive summoning build with it because daggers are faster, increasing your chance of summoning. Either way, it just depends on your playstyle so have fun and experiment! I'm just here to test the most recent build. My friend CDiinky and Armchairtunna have so many different build combos. I highly recommend their channels! You can find them at the bottom of my channel page.
Try full fire ant armor, its the ultimate weakness build!
Give it another 2 weeks they’ll nerf it into the ground.

I have a map in the works. Should be done soon enough lol. It's not a big map but I'm still getting used to playgrounds. But there are plenty of maps out there!

@@99midnightgamer If you join the Grounded discord, there is a whole channel that have maps. However, if you just google search Grounded Codes, you should get some cool maps.
Do you have infinite stamina enabled or something?
Yea I have the stamina drain turned off when I'm running around. Forgot to turn it back on for this video lol
i think using widow leggings and fire ant shield with toenail scimitar plays a lot better since it slows them down even more and parry master since it op
Fair fair. I guess since the recent update, I've leaned away from using shields with the lower attack damage you deal. The toenail scimitar would also be another great choice though. It would've added another effect dealing infection damage.
@@AstroNerdGamesI’m really annoyed with the -20% on shields. They already nerfed lil fist and now this on shields.
@sneakygoliath2568 I completely understand. I don't use shield anymore because of it. I basically gave up on daggers.
@@AstroNerdGames Good players are forced to give up the shield buffs and newer players are forced to be in a longer fight.

I believe I made this video a bit before the 1.4 update came out. The thing about NG+ is adjusting to each boss you fight, so builds will most likely change for all of them. I'm still making my way through NG+ stages which is why I haven't covered it yet. However, even if I can't give you any specified advice or tips regarding to NG+, I gotta send you over to my friend's channel. I highly recommend this video: th-cam.com/video/REvmy5dMFFc/w-d-xo.html. It's a preparation guide for starting out in NG+ and he also covers some material about how to survive through NG+ on his channnel through his experience of taking on the new challenges each NG+ level will throw at you. Definitely give it a look and I hope it helps! Also, keep in mind when looking for the "best" overall build, chances of it being nerfed are extremely likely to have already happen. My biggest advice is to look up the stats and effects for weapons and armor. The Grounded patch notes will also have updated information regarding the nerfs so try not to solely go off of the Grounded wiki lol. It acts as a basic guide to understand every weapon, armor piece, mutation effects, etc., however, it's not always up to date. Grounded will always be the first to come out with new information and then the wiki will update directly after that. Just a tip lol. Anyways, I hope this helps and good luck with NG+!

What’s considered the best build in grounded though (or is it considered this build)? I’m still newer to the game and would like advice on what I should be aiming for! I still haven’t beat the game, only just getting the black OX hammer. I know most of the builds do come down to the type of play-style you enjoy, but there are a lot of choices! (I’m more centered around melee since I don’t exactly enjoy the long-range).
So, this build will give you a lot of debuffs against your targets which is what makes it amazing. If you're just getting the black ox hammer, then you've successfully entered the upper yard. A really good combo for mid game is very similar to this build. Fire ant armor and broodmother armor are both great choices! And yes, it does come down to your playstyle, but understanding creature's weaknesses also helps too! You'll eventually unlock the recipe for the sour battle axe and it is the most powerful weapon in the game as of right now. I suggest using the club of the mother demon for a while as it's a generic weapon and no creature is resistant to it. Plus it will deal the most damage until you get the battle axe. Hope this helps!

Thank you! And that is very exciting to hear that you're just getting into the game! So, I definitely recommend the fire ant helmet, the broodmother chestplate, and the mantis leggings. If you haven't gone against the Mantis yet, you're in for a tough battle, but I believe it's worth it. Plus it's my favorite boss fight lol.
As for a weapon, go for the club of the mother demon. It will give you the most damage until you can get weapons like the sour battle axe. If you're lookng for dps, then a faster weapon like the widow dagger or the toenail scimitar will be great!

@@MaxiLord Of course! The mint mace is recommended for the Mant and the toenail scimitar is great against the broomother. You can make it mighty or make it spicy. I used the antlion greatsword against the broodmother and it did the job for sure.
why not just full widow armor cuz the full set bonus is op
Bc not too much debufs, that's what makes this build so relatable, but it's not a bad idea just need to know how to block 😂
