In Deja Vu, at first, it looks like JiU was the antagonist but in actuality, it was Yoohyeon. Yoohyeon killed all the members to claim the throne. JiU was holding a sword because she was protecting herself. The first 'holding this pain' part where JiU is wearing the black is in Yoohyeon's perspective. In her eyes, she's the one who's right and JiU is in the wrong, betraying her. But in the second part, we see that Yoohyeon was in the wrong as now she is the one who is wearing black. JiU surrenders not wanting to kill her but Yoohyeon backstabs and kills her instead. In the end, we see Yoohyeon sitting on the throne alone. She realizes how lonely it feels now that she claimed the throne by killing all her friends.
You guys pretty much got R.o.S.E Blue right. JiU saved the other members by shooting them to wake them up. We see them sleeping at first but then they awaken after JiU shoots them in their dreams. JiU running out of ammo to shoot herself is not a good thing. She shot everyone to save them but since she came in their dreams, she needed to shoot herself to save her herself from being trapped inside. Basically, JiU sacrificed herself to awaken the others.
Like the damn great leader she is. The dreamcatcher she left behind that we see at the end just ended me.

Yeah. I don't know if this is true or not. In R.o.S.E BLUE, someone said that Sua got chained and look angry because she know that they are in 'Cristal World' and she's the only one who knows that Jiu will sacrificed herself to save them so Sua want to stop her
you know what makes 15:23 even sadder is that Gahyeon is Jiu's little sister in the story. Also Gahyeon is reaching out to her think that shes here to save her, that they will be together but thats not the case since that was Jiu last bullet

Deja Vu story: basically one girl gets possessed by darkness and betrays and kills all the others and her guilty conscience is being haunted by all her now dead friends and she's flashing back to all the good times between her and her friends before the betrayal. It's also kind of telling the story of one of the chapters of the King's Raid game. King's Raid is getting an anime too btw.

Deja Vu's message is complex. To evil people, they are right in their own eyes and everyone is wrong. Thus, the 2 contrasting knighting scenes - Its Yoohyeon's perception vs reality. That's the deception of being corrupted.
However, Yoohyeon although possessed by evil .. she never fully lost herself. A small part of her is still good, and now she lives in the constant torment of the deeds she has done.
No she did lost herself the darkness have fully taken over. Last throne scene b4 cut off to the members standing in blackcoats, pause on yoohyeon. She is smirking. Means no remorse.
Story for Rose Blue
They are all trapped by the dark power of the crystal, Jiu in the beginning realizes that its all an illusion when she looks at the sun because her eyes don't burn and she can focus on it perfectly...

i always interpreted deja vu with a german saying... "to walk over corpses" meaning trying to achieve your goal by any means neccesary ignoring all ramifications..
so leaving behind/kiling her friends to rule alone she finaly achieved her goal but after sitting on the throne realizing how lonely that position is after claiming it the way she did she falls into her memories of the friends she had
and my interpretation of rose blue... realized they were trapped when she could look at the sun without any problem, when she woke up she took it upon herself to free the others and enter the world again,.. she freed them but was trapped again.. when she was alone after they vanished,.. she tried to kill herself to not be alone in the world but couldnt so she is still trapped...

After you watch all the MV's you should watch Dodging Disbandment and Other Extreme Sports: A History of Dreamcatcher. It tells their history from how they got started all the way up to Deja Vu.
Dreamcatcher also has Japanese songs: Breaking Out which has an MV, My Way & I Miss You from their Japanese album The Beginning of the End (this album came after Piri and before Deja Vu) and their Japanese single Endless Night which also has an MV (Endless came after Scream and before R.o.S.E BLUE). Endless Night is not part of the Dystopia story. If you do react to their Japanese MV's be careful, Japan is alot more strict when it comes to copyrighting.

Breaking Out is the actual ending of the Nightmare series. It was part of their first Japanese album and it rights the wrongs of Piri (gives us a happy ending).

For Rose Blue Your Mostly Right. This MV is actually a more Fantasy like take on the Matrix and JiU is basically Neo. The world has become a Dystopia. The Members are Trapped in the Virtual World of the Crystal. JiU Wakes up from the Fantasy because You Can't Look Straught at The Sun and Not Get Blinded. She Discovers the Location of the Members and Enters the Crystals Virtual World again to Rescue the Members. The Only Way to save them is to Kill Their Virtual Avatars(Spririts/Souls/Minds what ever you want to call them) caught inside the Crystal. She Shoots each member releasing them from the power of the Crystal. However JiU becomes Trapped inside the Crystal Sacrificing herself for her friends. She wasn't able to escape because the Pistol only had 5 charges/shots there are 6 people trapped The 5 members: SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, Dami, Gahyeon plus JiU makes 6. With only 5 shots she could only save the other members and not herself.
gahyeon play as jiu's little sister that's why the scene is so heartbreaking. They actually cut the scene where jiu is about to shoot gahyeon with tears on her eyes and im so mad

My interpretation of Deja Vu was that some scenes, like JiU in black on the left threatening Yoohyeon, or Yoohyeon in the coffin, are either Yoohyeon's dellusions about what happened or what she was afraid could've happened. What really happened was Yoohyeon tried to take JiU's throne for herself, JiU stopped her and spared her, but ultimately was killed by Yoohyeon. Then she either killed the other members or they left her, and the scenes we see with them fading in and out from her side are supposed to represent how she regrets it, I think.
This is my favorite song from them, loved the reaction!
I'm not a big fan of Rose Blue though. However, in this one, the members are trapped in the crystal and JiU saves them by shooting them, but has no way to save herself (or ammo), so she gets trapped in the crystal like the others were in a constant dream state, while they are set free.

Omg yes I literally cried watching Rose Blue especially during the music bridge with all the violin and orchestra going on in the background and Jiu's sad expression when the members gone in the thin air... I cried everytime that part hits up. The fact that the gun has only 5 bullets and she use all five of them to release the members from the 'purple crystal curse', sacrifice to be trapped in the curse herself. She hopes that she can really join the girls and woke up from the curse thats why even though there was no more bullet, she tried to shoot herself but nah, aint got no bullet that why she is so sad because she is trapped there.
P/s: I really respect you guys eventhough you guys are baby somnies, you guys catched on the meaning of the mv faster than my slow brain (I'm a toddler Insomnia haha only know them during dejavu era) T~T awesome, I really like your to hear your train of thoughts on the theory behind the mv
What's the different between every dreamcatcher's MV and the other kpop group MV is that you not only watching the dance and the visul ofvthe MV, but also trying to figure out the story.
And sometimes it has a plot-twist.
I believe JiU would actually sacrifice herself like she did in R.o.S.E Blue for her members...

Don't worry your not the only ones who get confused by Dreamcatcher MVs. But in actuality they aren't as confusing as they may seem. The Nightmare Series Mvs are Harder to understand I feel then the more recent MVs. If you relax pay attention to the subtle details and Don't Over Think you'll see they are somewhat pretty straight forward (just look for the clues). You got Deja Vu about 1/2 right by the end, you just confused Who The Real Betrayer Was As There Was Only One. Long Story Short JiU was the Rightful Queen. Yoohyeon was her Close Friend and Most Trusted Member/Knight of her Court. Yoohyeon got consumed by jealousy and Darkness and became Evil (A Black Knight). JiU spares Yoohyeon but Yoohyeon picks up the sword, runs after JIu and Kills her (Back Stabbing her) with the Sword. Yoohyeon claims the throne. All the other members were killed or exiled by Yoohyeon. The Two Moon/Suns is something common in Korean folk lore/mythology as something similar was seen as part of the K-Drama the Moon Embrassing The Sun. It is seen as an Omen. So basically Deja Vu is based on the King’s Raid: Pandemonium storyline with its own twist.
The basis of the story is that the main character, Kasel gets corrupted by the seed within the Holy Sword, which resulted him to becoming the new Dark Lord after defeating the previous one. (trust me, at this point this is not a spoiler anymore, even for new players). Within the process of his corruption, Frey, Kasel’s friend corrupted herself willingly in order to stay by his side no matter what.
Many of the lyrics used is based off the story as well. When Siyeon sings
“As long as I can breathe
I can’t let go of you again
We’ll be together for every moment
Don’t move far away from me”
This can directly relate to Frey’s corruption. They also used the word fallen a lot which relate to their “Fallen form” of being corrupted by darkness.
The reason why it’s called Deja Vu is that in the story, Kasel suffers the same fate as his father.
I recommend playing the game, the story is amazing. They recently released the new chapter, King’s Raid: Rebellion which will focus on their rise from their fall. Who knows maybe King’s Raid will do another collaboration with DC in the future for this.

R.o.S.E Blue was my first Dreamcatcher song / video. I was emotionally invested the first time through and if not in tears the first time through, I was by the second. That’s how powerful it was. I didn’t even know any of the members. Jiu just grabbed me. I became an instant fan, and I think I had a physical copy of Dystopia ordered within a day. I still get emotional over that video. I love it when something can do that to me out of the blue.

In Deja vu. They're all princess/queens. Yoohyeon went into the dark side, from the black miasma covering her. Jiu & Yoohyeon fought in Deja vu. Take note of the background condition between the two face off.
R.o.S.E Blue. You got the gist of it. All of them trapped in the dream. JiU was the only one who, erm not there? Something like that. In order to release them, JiU had to kill them in the dream. The crystal transport her to them. So in the end JiU couldn't kill herself to escape because no more bullets.
Fucking 12:45 was a goddamn easter egg for their comeback this year titled, "Odd Eye." hOLY SHIT DREAMCATCHER REALLY LOVES THEIR MYSTERY AND I'M FUCKING ENJOYING THE CRUMBS 😭😭😭

I see many people explaining the story of Rose Blue but I don't think many have realized that JiU was prepared to sacrifice herself because she would be happy knowing they're free from the crystal AND that she gets to spend the eternity in her paradise dream with everyone.
(as seen in the beginning).
The tragedy is the members in her dream fading away after she saved them since they've all woken up. She tried a last ditch effort to wake herself up, hoping that somehow, there was one more bullet, but there wasn't.
Rose Blue lyrics/MV meaning:
Jiu noticed right from the start that something is wrong and didn't feel right, the world seemed to good to be true.Then it proceed to show JiU enters into a different realm with a gun and 5 bullets.The MV shows a scene with the other members seemingly asleep in front of a giant purple crystal suggesting they are in some kind of dream/nightmare realm because their real bodies is all asleep outside.You can see Jiu being the only one awake and entering into the realm by touching the crystal.At the start you're lead to believe that they're all in a happy dream where all members are together.
But when Jiu enters, at this point you'll realize that each member is trapped in the "nightmare" and want to get out but they cant.
Jiu first confronts Yoohyeon first. Yoohyeon's nightmare seems to be of a school and all the furniture is tossed around, maybe a fight had occurred.Dami's nightmare is in gold. Her lyrics suggest that she has all the money now with nothing else. She would rather go back to being poor than having all these riches.
Sua's is the only one that is aware of what is going on that they are all trapped in a nightmare and she sees Jiu and she know what Jiu is planning to do and tries to stop her but the chains are too strong.Siyeon's nightmare is being watched and the paranoia drove her to insanity and destroyed all the tv.Gahyeon - Base on lyrics, Gahyeon have dreams of being with all the members one day and want to get out of this loneliness.Jiu know's they're all trapped and needs to be saved and she can free each of the members with the bullets by shooting them as you normally wake up when you get killed, which she does end up doing as the gunshot sound suggest.
Jiu "wakes" up and is happy knowing she saved all of them.Then Jiu is stuck by sadness when she realizes not everyone is saved yet. Just like the perception of happiness that you are lead to believe at the start, Jiu's smile quickly turns to sadness when she realizes she is actually in a nightmare now with no one left behind but herself, everyone is gone.Jiu tries to free herself by shooting herself but the gun only had 5 bullets from the start and she had already used every bullet to save the other members, she sacrificed herself so that the rest could be free.The members soon find out after they are saved and awoken back to the real world that everyone made it out except their beloved leader Jiu....
The purple stone is an Amethyst and they are known to protect people from evil in a dream state. People put it under their pillows, Jiu protecting all members until the end.
Deja Vu has this hidden codes with the colors. If it's blue tinted, then it's Yoohyeon's deja vu, it isn't real it's just in her mind. If it's red tinted, it's the reality.
For example like in the first scene where Yoo wears white on the floor and Jiu wears black pointing the sword at her. In Yoo's mind, she is the good queen and Jiu is trying to kill her. The background sky is blue. It's false.
Then we have this same scene where they switched places, Jiu is the real queen and she's giving Yoo mercy. But then Yoo betrayed her and all of their friends. The background sky is red 👍 this is the reality
That's why they have two suns, the red and blue/purple. Yoohyeon is torn between deja vu and reality.

Here's a simple description of each MVs from the 'Nightmare' series to help you understand the storyline better:
Fly High (prequel): Jiu caught a spider in the backyard, but Yoohyeon killed it with magnifying glass which caused all of them to get cursed one by one by the Spider and became a nightmare
Chase Me: a ghost hunter (Spider lady's ally) came to find and trap Dreamcatcher inside the 'book' that linked to each nightmares that the girls represent, but failed
Good Night: the ghost hunter managed to trapped SuA but the members saved her by burning the page of her nightmare from the book, then trapped the guy inside the mirror afterwards.. the girls then escaped from that place and dropped the book in the forest
You And I: Dreamcatcher members living together in a new home, they opened a small photo studio and mess with people's dream/nightmare by using their pictures taken there. but one day a lady came for a photo (which happend to be the Spider lady) ,the Spider lady then transformed and attacked Yoohyeon who killed her as a revenge. Jiu who caught the Spider in 'Fly High' knew what's going on and try to save Yoohyeon who are currently trapped in another realm by performing ritual, but Yoohyeon didn't make it to the portal at the end, now she trapped alone
What: the rest of the Dreamcatcher now living apart in modern era, but Yoohyeon always appeared in the dream of the members as if she's calling for help ,especially Jiu.. the members expressed their confusion and eager to overcome the nightmare in the lyrics
PIRI (ending): while wandering around Yoohyeon found a Piri (flute in Korean) ,with a hope to reunite with her members again she then use the Piri as an SOS call. right after she blow the Piri ,all of the members are summoned and now entered Yoohyeon's realm ,but in order to meet Yoohyeon each of them have to overcome their nightmare trials.. the members then eventually reunited at the end, trapped together in the 'Nightmare'
P.s - Dreamcatcher's Japanese MV 'Breaking Out' can be used as an alternative ending as well
Here's the story from what I understand watching ROSE BLUE movie:
The girls are all trapped within the system and their real bodies are in a coma state except for Jiu. This is because Jiu is the only who noticed they are not in reality. In reality, you can't directly look at the sun or it'll hurt your eyes but she did it easily which shows that she's not in reality. (So the dress scene you called 'memory' is not their memory actually, it's fake reality of the system.)
Since Jiu is the only one who figured it out, she managed to escape but not for the rest. Fortunately, Jiu has a weapon/tool that can help them escape the system but it only has 5 bullets. She sacrificed herself to let them all escape that's why you only hear a gunshot aimed at Gahyeon and not when she aimed it at herself because the charge is at 0 by then. It also explains why they disappeared when she reached out for them.
Also, Sua is in chains because she knows Jiu is sacrificing herself and is trying to stop her. Meanwhile, Gahyeon didn't know which is why she reached out to her with so much trust in her eyes. (@AtrinaLB theory)
So she's trapped in the system(the dress scene you called 'memory') forever, sacrificing her life for the rest out of love. Imagine how lonely she must be. What a true leader 😢
DEJA VU: the storyline of the mv isn’t actually in order. The first event is when Jiu is wearing the pink dress and is holding the sword which is pointed at Yoohyeon. Jiu throws down her sword, showing mercy to Yoohyeon who picks it up and swearing “loyalty” to her. Yoohyeon and Jiu then become close friends but Yoohyeon, at the dinner scene, poisons Jiu which is why she is laying on the table (the scene reminds me of the last supper, the night before Jesus was betrayed). The lyrics has lines like “All the truths I believed
Covered me in falsehoods” which basically means that Jiu knew that at one point that Yoohyeon will betray her again and she did. Yoohyeon then becomes Queen and exiles everyone from the castle after Jiu’s funeral. The thing with Dreamcatcher is that they have a lot of symbolism in their mvs so it helps with the storyline. Symbolic things that are used in this mv are gold butterflies, swords, blue roses, and fire. The gold butterflies represent a rebirth (which is why Jiu opens her eyes whilst in the coffin). The swords represent power, protection, strength and courage. The fire represents resurrection and destruction (Jiu opening her eyes again and the throne room being in ruins as Jiu points a sword at Yoohyeon) and the blue roses symbolises a secret or unattainable love and sadness (Jiu is surrounded by them in the coffin and Yoohyeon is holding them). Or at least this is what I believe the storyline is.
What hurts me the most about that Gahyeon and Jiu scene in R.o.S.E. BLUE is knowing that, in the storyline, Gahyeon is Jiu's little sister and (In my opinion) she's smiling while reaching out because her sister was there and she trusted her so she knew there was no danger whatsoever.

You were really close with your interpretation of Deja Vu. You were spot in that the video is about friendship and betrayal. To be more specific, it's about one person betraying all of her friends so that she could take the throne. I think the only problem you were having was that there are a lot of flashbacks in the video. The events in the video are all mixed up and out of order.
We start with Yoohyeon sitting on a throne. Then she is enveloped by a dark cloud and she starts remembering how she ended up on the throne. Her memories bounce back and forth between moments of friendship and how she betrayed her friends to take the throne. This is why in one scene we see dead JiU and in the next we see her alive again, along with other inconsistencies. You were spot on with the video being about friendship and betrayal.
You were pretty much spot on with Rose Blue too. The crystal has trapped all of the girls in their own dreamworlds. At the beginning of the video JiU looks at the sun and realizes it doesn't hurt her eyes. This makes her realize that she is in a dream and allows her to break out of the dream. She takes her magic gun, re-enters the crystal and 'shoots' all the members, freeing them from their individual dreamworlds. Unfortunately she only had 5 shots, which means she was unable to free herself from the crystal at the end. So, yeah, you were right, she sacrificed herself to free the others.

Deja vu and Rose blue are stand-alone videos with no connection with the nightmare arc or dystopia, however in What MV you can see the same cristal which means that Rose blue is actually a continuation of the Nightmare arc or a parallel universe
There's a thread on tt about the R.O.S.E Blue mv that I really like, it's very accurate, and it says that the girls are actually portraying the characters in the game, like all the backgrounds from each girl is somehow telling what happened to them and how they're like in the game, you can check out if u want, just search "rose blue theory thread" and you'll find it.
So, idk if someone already told you guys the story of R.o.S.E. Blue, but I want to tell what I know: everyone is possesed by the crystal at the beggining, but JiU realizes that it's a dream, so she comes out. She has a gun to kill all the girls in their dreams so they can wake up of their coma, but she only has 5 bullets. She kills everyone but she cannot wake up, so she ends trapped in the crystal (btw, I don't speak english, sorry if I misspelled something)

Fun fact, Siyeon actually couldn't finish watching RoSe Blue MV until recently because the gahyeon/Jiu scene was too sad/heartbreaking she cried

you were mostly correct on rose blue initially but confused yourself more by over thinking it :D. jiu went into the crystal to rescue the members from stasis but didn't have enough bullets to shoot herself to get out.
for deja vu, it's basically about the cycle of life and how history repeats itself, including the bad aspects of humanity that don't get overcome with time. lots of dreamcatcher mvs use references from their own lore, such as the butterfly representing jiu and a spider representing yoohyeon. I made a short video about deja vu if you are really that interested but my suggestion is just enjoy the music :)
In R.o.s.E BLUE, all the girls are trapped in nightmares. Jiu gets inside the cristal so she can get them out. She has to kill them to pull them out from their own personal nightmares (individual). But she has 5 bullets and when she realizes she's alone, she knows she had to kill herself to put herself out but she can't because there are no more bullets. So, by the end of the video, Jiu's trapped in the crystal, living her own nightmare... which is to be alone. That is why she sees all the girls disappear like butterflies.

I've never seen someone see JiU pointing the sword at Yoohyeon as someone knighting another. But I can understand the confusion XD

You have a lot of comments so I don't know if anyone added this. There is speculation that the members in R.o.S.E. Blue represent the 5 stages of grief. Denial (Yoohyeon sitting in the trashed classroom like nothing is wrong), Anger (SuA raging in chains), Bargaining (Dami sitting on piles of gold), Depression (Siyeon in a dark room, not even acknowledging JiU pointing a gun at her), and Acceptance (Gahyeon holding out a welcoming hand to JiU). Also, the fact that the characters represented by JiU and Gahyeon are supposed to be sisters in the game just wrecks my heart everytime I see this. The older sister (JiU) sacrificing herself to save her little sister (Gahyeon). :'(

Maybe someone was able to explain in earlier comments. So because handong isnt here for the RoSe Blue MV, there are only 6 members. She only had 5 bullets which she used on her members. Which means there wouldnt be a bullet for her which she knew from the beginning. So she did use all five bullets which is why she didnt escape with them. Just in case you were confused since it seemed there was some confusion about her bullet count
My original theory on the Deja Vu video was that Yoohyeon was a queen and the other members were her court. JiU betrayed her and became queen, but Yoohyeon came back and took the throne back but lost all her friends in the process.
However, after rewatching the video, there are a lot of parts where the members look spiteful towards Yoohyeon or walking away sadly, which makes me think that Yoohyeon's betrayal was the flashback, and her sitting alone on the throne is the present and JiU in the black dress is a ghost or something back for revenge. That would explain why Yoohyeon looks so shocked to see her. If you look at the scene where jiU opens her eyes in the coffin, only five members are there. And JiU is the only one to see Yoohyeon in the coffin.
So that begs the question: who betrayed first? I think either interpretation could be correct, but I want to know what other insomnias thought
i'm sure the other comments have told you the stories behind both MV. Just letting you know in rose blue, Jiu started with 5 bullets, and she shot all 5 members, to save them from the crystal, but the image of her with the girls in the field was the dream that the crystal gave Jiu. Jiu tried to save herself from the crystal, but realized she had used up all the bullets from saving her members. Hence why she's stuck in the crystal at the end of the mv.

I am actually really enjoying your dreamcatcher reactions, especially this one (since these two songs are the saddest MV wise too). you guys actually got a lot more on your first watch than other reactors I've seen. you got that someone got betrayed and that things repeating makes sense with the title being Deja Vu lol and also that Jiu actually sacrificed herself in Rose Blue.
fyi, Jiu being a bias wrecker is actually her job lol it'll happen at some point and some of us just had to accept she wasn't our wrecker but our bias (look at my pfp)
also don't be surprised if you don't see as much Gahyeon in older MVs. she's been pushed to the front and given a lot more screentime just recently as her confidence improved and she started rapping (before PIRI, Sua was the lead rapper but she wanted to focus on singing). Also she bleached her hair for the first time for Boca. previously we only worried about Jiu and Yoohyeon's scalps + they were also the main characters in MVs with Yoohyeon effing up and Jiu trying to help her lol

Love it, looking forward to more dreamcatcher reactions. After going through their main releases i 100% recommend delving into their b-sides too. My 3 personal favourite (hard to even pick three) are "black and white", "red sun" and "and there was no one left"
dejavu is basically a betrayal story. Yoohyeon was absorbed by the darkness and betrayed Jiu and the rest of the members, however Jiu decides to give her a chance, At that moment he drops the sword and turns his back, here yoohyeon takes the opportunity and takes the sword and commits treason and here begins the constant dejavu that the song speaks. In roseblue Each one represents a character from the game and the roles of Jiu and gahyeon are sisters in the game, which is why the shooting scene feels so dramatic.
After you complete the Nightmare arc with Piri you should check out their 2 Japanese MV's, they are amazing and need more love. Breaking Out most people consider is the true end of the Nightmare arc but since it's not a Korean release... (It came out between Piri and Deja Vu). Endless Night the released right after Scream and is probably their most "metal sounding" song as it features guitar and drum playing from members of Japanese punk and metal bands (you don't see them in the MV though). After you get all their MV's there are a slew of amazing special clips that feature the girls slaying other genres of music.

I've read all the comment interpretations of Deja Vu because I just saw the video and I'm thinking maybe one of the comments had it but none of them are correct 😂 we all know that this MV is actually based on the King's Raid chapter titled "The Fallen Fate". I am a King's Raid player and I know the whole story of the "Fallen Fate" chapter. At the beginning of the video we can all see that black fog consuming Yoohyeon and that's basically what happened to Kasel (MC of King's Raid) in which he got corrupted and turned evil and in the story Kasel destroyed everything in his path including his friends and brother. So where does Jiu comes in? Jiu is Frey (Main Heroine of King's Raid) and Frey is actually Kasel's childhood friend and in the scene where Jiu has the sword it's the way she asked Yoohyeon or Kasel that she has to decide whether she'll embrace darkness or fight it and as we all expected because the title is "Fallen Fate" Yoohyeon sucumbs into darkness leaving her walking a path alone as the scene showed that everyone disappeared as she got corrupted and this bring us to the question why is Jiu sitting beside Yoohyeon in the end? This is because Jiu decided to fall into the darkness because she doesn't want Yoohyeon to be alone or walking the path alone so in the end she falls into the darkness as well. Another question is why there's two moons at the end and only Yoohyeon is seen in that scene? That actually symbolizes Yoohyeon inside in which she is trapped between two worlds which is the Dark side and the Good side and that's the story of the "Fallen Fate" hence the meaning of the Deja Vu MV. Nobody died nobody killed nobody stabbed who. They told the story of Fallen Fate the Dreamcatcher way and Yoohyeon is not always the bad person 😂 In the Nightmare arc everybody says that Yoohyeon is bad, but trust me she's not bad at all. This MV simply narrates the story of King's Raid and if you're not a King's Raid fan or player you'll definitely misunderstood or will misinterpret the MV. I know this is a very long comment but I just want to say the correct story of this MV 😂
I haven't played Gun Girl Cafe yet so I have no idea what the story is but you guys are correct those 5 girls are trapped into a world where they think they belong and as we saw they are alone, Jiu tried to save them by killing them in that world to bring them back into reality where they can be all together but she lost herself in the process because she could only save 5 persons and that's why she got trapped in exchange for the 5 girls.

Rose Blue is easy, Jiu enter the crystal to rescue her members by the gun, but she got 5 bullets only, she sacrifice herself.
I'm not sure about the plot of king's raid, but the storyline of the deja vu mv is that Yoohyeon was the queen(princess?) and Jiu was her friend until she betrayed her (the first scene w the sword), and then Yoohyeon has to decide if she should reclaim her throne from her friend that she loves and if she could deal with the consequences of losing everyone. In the end she decides to reclaim her throne, but she is alone now.
In an interview DC said that the song itself is about keeping a promise even when it seems impossible to do so.
this is actually not correct. Yoohyeon is the one that did the betraying, she kills Jiu and loses her friends bc of it.
