The little floating pod/cell, concept-wise probably represents the heart of nature/earth/seed of life, cuz the song according to them is about giving nature a break.( would even add that it really looks inspired by EVE in the movie WALL-E ) Theories are going on, the one i saw the most is people thinking its Siyeon because they think she sacrificed herself protecting SuA, which kinda makes sense but only if you disregard many elements of the MV. Personally i think it represents InSomnia who are always with them no matter what they do or where they go, like an 8th member of the group
The tattoo on Siyeon's back is the Roman numerals for the birth year of her father (1960), mother (1964) and sister (1992).

If you haven't heard Propose yet from the new album I heartily recommend the showcase performance because it is everything Dreamcatcher dialled up to 11.
They got their third and fourth win this week for Bon Voyage - and you can tell how emotional and meaningful for them - they do not take it for granted.
Siyeon is like a Sith that's defected to the rebel side. She's trying to embrace the new ethics, but isn't above force-choking a dude to make a point. The bad cop to Jiu's good cop. Whereas, no matter how much you kick and scream, Jedi Jiu will just embrace you tighter and force-heal you.

I didn't get Bon Voyage either at first. A helpful comments explained it was about a journey of self discovery, like soul searching, becoming self confident, rethink bad behaviour and get wiser first. Then to be ready for a relationship!

Also the story of Bon Voyage is an end to the Apocalypse trilogy. It’s essentially a love letter to Mother Earth, saying we love you and we’re sorry we couldn’t do more to protect you, and even though we love you we are leaving you to let you heal 🥺

Vision is that Final Boss fight vibe. Bon Voyage is that aftermath vibe.
"Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things). It could be about North Korea as well after all.
It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way.
So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace.
By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well.
Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!
"Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable!
My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity).
SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace.
There are still many things I don't know. For example, why are all three titles in French. 😉 (And why are there 3 Damis with 7 shadows...)
The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal.
Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius. We lost Leez as a producer, but the team around Ollounder did a fantastic job! And as a bass player, I can say the slap bass is crazy!
I probably won't have to tell anyone that the visuals here are out of this world. I'm going to say it anyways: The members have never looked more beautiful, and the whole team all deserve a raise!
"Reason" is the fan-song for Dreamcatcher's 6th anniversary. I can't even begin to describe how proud I am of them. They're flexing their rock and vocal muscles, while all three rappers make an appearance. InSomnia might be lifting them up, but they should know, they are also carrying us. Happy 6th anniversary, Dreamcatcher!
Can you imagine this song live? With us InSomnia going Whoooo-whoooaaa and them singing over it? 😊
I wouldn't be surprised if the animations were done by a fan, I seem to recognize the style. Whoever did them, they did a great job. I see the book from the Nightmare arc, the mask from Scream, the gun from R.o.S.E Blue, the gagged bust from Boca, the cup from Odd Eye, the hand through the mirror from Good Night and the clock from Piri.
Musically, I am in heaven. I'm a metalhead and I love the song. AND THAT RIFF! 🤘🎸 Obviously the song is an absolute anthem!

Yeah I did unfortunately :( for their 2022 tour, the nearest location to me was 17 hours away by car and it was a month after I had a baby. And then this past February, they were a 10 hour drive from me and I was nannying another baby along with taking care of my own, so I couldn't make it work. If Kpop groups came down to my state I wouldn't miss a single concert 😭 I hope to see them live someday in the future :)
@@IMaeBreeze Hopefully they keep growing and can add more stops to their tours eventually. I was only four hours away from Dallas in 19 and earlier this year so I've been lucky enough to catch them live twice. Trust me, if you find the time while doing parenting, a 10 hour drive is almost certainly worth it. They are amazing live!
