i believe so, yes

is the chim 5 dae axe actually needed? i am gonna max everything in the garden at some point but that seems very overkill
needed? no, helpful? yes. if you cant afford chim thats fine, if you cant afford a dae axe thats fine, everything will still work just slightly less pests
chimera 5 isn't needed but if you want to pest farm with mushrooms a dae axe is meta and any level of chimera helps
How do u replant the crops
gotta do it after the contest with a basket of seeds
Btw is pest farming good for ironman
