Lyrics:
im so sensitive to light// i may never get it right// all the bloody stupid miracles and lies// guess its up to you to have it exercised
what did i do?// nothin is true// whatever is over now// sober is over now
i may never get away// im rejecting yesterday// only hoping my trajectory is high// now there will be no more pissing you goodbye
what did i do?// nothin is true// whatever is over now// sober is over now
destination ursa major
it could be that/i never get away// thats the reason/i am blowing you away
blowing you away

Their guitars even harmonized... They r such a good darn band..... i love them
Based
Damn i still remember seeing nada surf and superdrag. At the metro in Chicago. That night changed my. Life
It made you a toothless peasant??
@@carolinafine8050 what's that.. not sure . How you got toothless peasant. From a old.concert..but whatever
That's awesome, I almost went and saw that show in Kansas City but I was only 16 at the time and couldn't get in. I remember being right outside the door too, I'm still disappointed!
I saw Super Drag w/ Nada Surf at the Strand in Providence RI back in the summer of 96. Great show.
I like how the little Beatles style “oooOOOO” at 1:50 is only in this music video version.
KINO
He really loved Lennon's antics.
Okay, this is slightly different than the album version and I was not expecting that.
How was this NOT a hit?!
You idiot. It was!!! Back in the day your too young to Probably remember they had a Music ,Video for it on MTV you don't know what that is probably too
I was 15 when this album dropped, and it got me through the perils of adolescence. Still a top 3 album of all time for me.
Awesome thanks for sharing! I'm glad you're still spinning it all these years later
@cjensen01 - Same bro, same.Been rocking this album hard on the commute lately. Bout time for a remaster me thinks.
God I miss the friggin 90's!!! Lot of great music, and every thing else
Me too... : (
claro que si hombre
I've been listening to that song nonstop since the algorithm suggested me this 💎
Really falling in love with Superdrag. Heard Sucked Out and now this, extremely Beatles-inspired look too. Love all of it
I’ve been falling in love with this band too in recent years. They really don’t have a single song I don’t admire 🌞 you’d probably love John Davis’ solo stuff too. It’s on bandcamp and YT.
I wanna get on the Dolorean and go back to the 90's so bad! 👍😎
Saw this on a local cable show in '96. So probably the first time I've seen this in 20 years lol. The song that got me into Superdrag. Thanks for posting this gem.
its crazy to think its older than me, i was born in 97. thank you for the kind words
Same here, except I somehow caught the video on the USA Network channel. I still don't know what show was on or why they were playing it, but I'm glad they did.
The only band member who looks like he's ever run before in his life is the bass player.
😆
He goes to my church, I have to tell him about this comment 😂
This is one of my favorite '90s alternative songs. The Beach Boy-style harmonies in the last chorus are just *mwah*.
I like that Don Jr is wearing a silky green shirt while the rest are wearing black. I also like the way the camera changes focus in some of the close-ups. I like everything Superdrag has put forth. Thanks for uploading.
If nobody has than you yet... Thanks for uploading this classic nineties video/song by one of the most underrated rock bands of its era.
DESTINATION - URSA MAJOR!
DESTINATION - URSA MAJOR!
classic track, great band, one of my favorites, they never got the push they deserved IMO
Never missed this video on M2, on MTV at 2:00 pm after coming home from work. You know, the three times they played it! And the 2 times it was on 120 minutes too!
Best rock 'n' roll band of the 90s.
Love this version. One of our all time fave groups!
"Nothing is tru-uuuuue.." (wish he did that little Beatles-style vocal part on the album version !
I'm glad someone else noticed that! (..even though I don't particularly like it, myself. :/) However I'm perplexed by this audio track. It sounds identical to the album in every other way. I wish I knew the story behind it.
@@callbackdons He always did it live when I saw them over the years. Probably a late stage edition that they came up with like right after the album got initially released
@@callbackdons the guitars are pulled back in this mix at the beginning. Vocals are more out in front.
I'd guess it goes on throughout various parts. Less sonic feel to this version, but more mtv/single friendly vibe.
Still epic all these years later
We need to get a high res version up this..
One of my favourite 90s hits that I could never ever ignore searching on TH-cam. Thanks for uploading. I also like Sucked Out. Also reminds me of If I Could Talk I Tell You and Into Your Arms by Lemonheads, Little Pink Star by Raddish, Hello hello by Talkshow and Fire Water Burn by Blood Hound Gang. - With ♥️ from 🇵🇭, Philippines.👍✌️🤘😉
Gunna give these all a listen
As always this has been one of my favorite songs during my high school days way back 1995, 1996 or 1997. Until now 2021 I still love listening to this anytime I remember this song. My other favorite from this band is Sucked Out. This band reminds me of listening to my two favourite songs of Lemonheads: Into Your Arms and If I Could Talk I Tell You.😉--Aims
Since you like Lemonheads AND Superdrag, you should check out Gentlemen Rogues' song "Bloody Motherless in Ursa Major." The song literally combines the Lemonheads' "Rudderless" with Superdrag's "Destination Ursa Major." Until I heard that song, I never realized you could sing those two songs atop each other. But it works. They also snuck in a My Bloody Valentine hook for the song's coda.
love this band so much
i like how lead singer sing while looking up his eyes with that carefree vibe from 0:44 so much
Big thanks for posting!!! Great video that always disappears.
fingers crossed hoping that this is the last time it needs to be posted
Rick Harris yeah all the good things come and go. Dam this band trully rocks something fierce.
thank you for uploading this awesome vid! One of my favorites and its been forever since i've seen
Thank you!! such an awesome song
i agree 100% Laura :)
Yes! I love this song, the band, the era!
SUPER DRAG🤘♥️
The bass player was my teenage dream.
I can't say the vid has aged well - BUT, it's the vid that got me into Superdrag in the first place.
Brian Webster the video is corporate 90s the song is timeless!!!!!!
90's corporate was a beast, we are overcoming
Got something against Wall Street?
It has aged just fine I don't know what you're talking about
One of my favorite songs to blast, but I've never seen the video so thanks!
Love it! Since then.
Love this
Thanks for the upload!
Here's hoping this doesn't get pulled down! One of my faves.
hopefully so!
Such a great band
Such an excellent song, almost forgot about how great they were!
These guys were awesome!
holy crap this a good song!
hell yeah it is!!
I miss Power Pop in TVs and radios.
Great video and ty for that :)
no problem at all Tiago!
i listen it often,i have listened much time,it's an excellent track,i'm feeling good when i'm listening this rock track, i forget the dicket, asshole of my company
One of the best to do it.
This video was my Hard Days Night as a kid back then, while learning how to play guitar. Went from listening to dads British Invasion records to having “my own band” I could follow as they released new tunes #gamechanger #grateful - don’t believe me, ask @americandarlings lol ;)
I'm sure this looks dated to some people who didn't grow up with this but, to me, it just looks like the truth.
love this video!!!
What a great album
He did the slow burn cigarette thing in Sucked Out video.
The band that tried the hardest to make smoking cool in the nineties!
How many Mod visual references.?
I liked this track better than “Sucked Out”.
Thanks! :)
no problem, glad to see you enjoyed the dudes return back on youtube :)
Daniel Zé thank you great video and song. Thanks for posting this lost gem.
This band makes me want to wear a three-piece suit and drink and smoke
citroën ds? sold
better than Weezer, by a million miles
I’m gonna have to say this cliche and here it goes......why does this video not have a billion views????
Kind of sounds like a Foo Fighters cover band
What the he
Gerrard way britpop version
John Harkey
wtf is this m8, this isnt COD
good cover but not quite as good as the original
No, look closely... that’s what Superdrag looked like back in the late 90s...
actually 1995 -2005...
And then they all became their dads!
Love you guys xo
@@Bang-vy6td disagree, pretty sure its a song from the 60s or 70s
777certain Just to be certain, I checked the credits on the single and John Davis is credited.
@@Bang-vy6td somehow i doubt the singer of Korn wrote this song. its probably from the 60s
@@777certain7 John Davis, not Jonathan Davis.....
O.M.G YES! I screamed seeing this up on TH-cam. Thank you SO much! Love the 'Drag!
not an issue at all! lets hope it stays around for good, if not then id advise watching it on vimeo :)
